mhm we need to understand things clearly, before following dogmatically, even the bible ask to seek wisdom, knowledge and understanding.

Speaking in tongues is actually good, but it's not for everybody. Or else it becomes a child's play thing.

A lot of preachers make it sound as if it is the only proof that you are in the spirit. That's a NoNoNo, I call it dogma.

If the answer to these questions is yes then I see no reason why ordinary insult should spoil your marriage, unless he beats you. Insult him back - call him a bigger fool, a he-goat, a maluu, a stupendous ignoramus calamity - and get used to it. When kids start coming he won't have time to insult you again.

This is my first time of hearing about the book; thus shows how aweful it must be.

Segun Adeniyi's book was the talk of the entire political atmosphere in Nigeria. There were reviews in every TV station that knew it's worth. There were excerpts for us to read weeks before its publication and it was a major talking point everywhere.

Reno should do better than this. I am sure he was just writing a one sided view of things were as Adeniyi have a balanced view and toured the country, getting interviews. Till date, none of the people he quoted had come out to say they were quoted out of context.

PS: this book will only become popular when Nairaland pushes it to front-page tomorrow (Monday) morning. That is when other bloggers will feature it (as most of them depend on Nairaland for its major news feed).
If the mods decide to ignore this book here and not move it to front-page, many people won't hear about the book talk more eof it's content.

There is no nation in the world that currently do not heard about Christianity does not mean that there are no person that have not heard but it.
And you see where your pastors failed to educate you? That Jesus Christ and Christianity in the contest of salvation is one and the same thing. If you have done your research in the bible you see that Jesus live in us.
we are the representatives of Jesus here on earth.
As a matter of fact the kingdom of God right now on earth is Christianity if you understand Jesus parables. And that kingdom of God is Jesus Christ himself in us, what is known as God with us (Emmanuel).
And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached is the same thing as saying this gospel of Christianity shall be preached.
Why?
Because Christianity started the period Jesus resurrected about 2000 years ago, with just 120 people at Pentecost.
Know the history of your religion, think and be free from pastors.
Note that he didn't say repentance shall be preached.
Rather this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached

That verse is not talking about Heaven (Paradise) in the belief of The Jews and Christians. Remember, Jesus was a Jew throughout his life on earth. He still worshipped in the Synagogue weeks preceding his death. And that day Jesus was crucified, some other Jews in other Roman cities who may have obeyed the law like the Prophets of old died naturally without the knowledge of your misconstrued 'eternal life'. Will they be in Hell?

I think we should have a thread let's hear out the Christians who say Heaven is made for only adherents of Christian Religion prove it by telling us where others will go. Please, I don't want Islamists on that thread because it may divert the subject. The thread will be for Christians, Deists, Jews and a few other pseudo -christian groups who share some connections.

Today, Christianity has been lifted, there is no nation in the world currently that has not heard about Christianity.
Unfortunately pastors are not preaching Christianity, they are preaching repentance.
They fail to realise that even Muslims do repent, but does that make them saved?
