Sunday the 29th of May, 2016,
i went to church.....the church were this whole thing started is the lugbe zone 7 branch... so i was there but this time i changed sit with the mind set that what ever met me in the other sit can come and meet me here lets see.........praise and worship...preaching awesome......see pastor and him wife.....fine people. grin grin

then heated prayers started.....see the pastor very vexed....... and started saying...... there someone here........the word was actually my word...so i saw women running out to the alter.... i was like.. women...you people always have problems....as a jjc in the church , i did not know that if a word comes for you.....you run out....so i did not border.

Beloved....power came on me....indescribable stuff.....it came like a loud noise and filled my whole head and in that confusion i held my head tight, i lost my balance....... i could not find my self again......someone is speaking into my ears ...the word is too thunderous and i could not hear.........physically i have bulldozed both people and chairs......cleared the entire area.....people ran away from that area......what i sense was that they could not hold me down... and those that were trying to catch fell too.... so it took the effort of able bodied men to really press my skinny body down.

I recovered from the alter not knowing how i got there.....all my body paining me as if i was beating with fire wood.....one of my lap was partially dislocated.......for one week i was still in pains because i don't recover from one event before the next one occurs..........from 22 -29 of may 2016 was a marathon of events......it was just too much for me. cry cry cry cry cry cry cry
Those proud spirits met superior power grin

Christian is a way of life Not a religion.
More than that, it is LIFE... The Divine life at work in men.

Forgiveness is for the born again christian who is already in the kingdom. The sinner who comes to Christ is justified! And there's a huge difference.

The different between Christianity and other religion is FORGIVENESS. JESUS came to die so that our SINS maybe forgiven.
My broda,

There is religion in Christianity but Christianity is not a religion. Same way there are chairs in your house, but your house is not a chair.

But the recording was not done in private?
Could have been a personal prayer or worship from her spirit, not necessarily a message for all.

Or perhaps she even gave the interpretation in the song without announcing it.

Even in public gatherings, there are sessions of praying in tongues by the congregation to God which do not require interpretation- except privately.

1cor 14:28
If there is no interpreter, the speaker should keep quiet in the church and speak to himself and to God.

Since there is no intepreter, He shouldnt come forward to speak to the whole church. He should speak to himself and to God.

Acidosis:
Apostle Paul explains it this way: 1 Cor 14:2: "For one who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men, but to God; for no one understands, but in his spirit he speaks mysteries."

In other words praying with the mind means you pray not only to God, but also for other people around you to understand you, while praying in tongues is directed directly to God only. This is why the apostle Paul encouraged Christians to pray with the mind in Church
There is a difference between SPEAKING (or giving a Message in tongues) and PRAYING in tongues. The former is done one at a time in the meeting or service. The measage is given in tongues and therefore requires interpretation. This is equivalent to prophecy. The latter is a prayer to God from our spirits. You may receive intepretaion and not give it since you were praying a private prayer.

All the above are just jargon spoken by false people. Speaking in tongues is for a sign and is always in an earthly language that someone around must understand so that the speaker and the hearers can know the meaning. I strongly believe that the Holy Spirit will not make a person speak in tongues if there won't be a person around who understands the language spoken so as to interpret it.
LIAR

1Cor 14:2
For one who speaks in a tongue speaks not to men but to God; for no one understands him, but he utters mysteries in the Spirit.

Seun:
Yesterday, I decided to listen to the official video of Sinach's most famous worship song, 'Way Maker':

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n4XWfwLHeLM
I'm pleased to say that I enjoyed this video much better than her singing during the Benny Hinn program I reviewed earlier.

However, I have a problem. At 4:32 she spoke some words which I don't understand: "bo shadada vandasanda". After singing some more, at 4:52, she sang these words "o rerererebo shande yama zeke allelu," which I don't understand either. When I asked for the translation, I was told she was speaking in tongues which, fortunately, can be interpreted by those who have the gift.

I hereby call upon Nairalanders with the gift of interpretation of tongues to interpret those words for us so we can fully appreciate the song.
The issue here is not whether the tongues cn b interpreted or not because they can.

The issue is your desire to mock the Spirit and that is dangerous.

The same way it was not a question of Jesus' ability to turn stone to bread or jump from the pinnacle of the temple but of His trust in God's Word concerning Him above all else: "This is my beloved son..."

The spirit of the prophets is subject to the prophets; if there will be none to interpret, let the person with a message in tongues keep quiet (Excerpts from 1 Corinth 14)
The context was referring to order during meetings/ services. Not private worship or prayer.

Besides, there is a difference between praying in tongues and giving a message in tongues.

The scripture above refers to the later.

I stopped going to church years before starting Nairaland. My folks forced me to attend church and the daily family prayer time for a while, but when I started asking questions they couldn't answer, they stopped, because they didn't want my siblings to lose their faith too.

Here's a thread titled "Why I Am Not A Christian Anymore" which I posted less than a year after starting Nairaland.

It doesn't surprise me that you would make a serious claim without any evidence and insist that it's true. Thats how religious charlatans have always operated. However, I'm shocked that you got someone to believe you. I shouldn't really be shocked since I know how gullible people can be, but I am. This is why atheists must rise up and fight against the pervasive cancer of illogical thinking. When Nairaland crashed in 2014, we only lost posts made within January and June 2014, so it can't be the reason why you can't find the evidence for your bold claim.
Abeg spare us those gyrations. You most likely have hurriedly taken off that post. There's no telling how far you guys can go to continue your self deception. I even remember suggesting to my self to keep that post as a reference for the future.

If that were true, you would have posted a link to the thread where it happened instead of just making the claim.
That will be difficult to find. I said what I said with the hope that you still have some integrity left, not because I can find the link.

God whom I serve is my witness.

It was on a certain thread where I stood on the truth that Jesus was the only way to the father. You tried to create a balance like "what about other religions... will they go to hell for not believing in Jesus?"

I insisted using scriptures, then came your reply.... "If so, I am no longer a Christian from today..."

This was several years ago, but it never left my memory. I don't know if I can find that thread, but I will try. Perhaps we lost some threads on nairaland when it crashed years ago?

Nevertheless it is a shame that even you will require a link from me as proof for something you already know in your heart.

"It is grace, because, before my first album came out, I never stood in front of two people to sing not to talk of the whole church, I never held the microphone in the church to lead the choir in the choir rehearsal not to talk of Sunday service, not even Wednesday service, nobody gave me that opportunity, but I was working underground, just recording my songs and when I was recording these songs I was not recording it for album, I was just trying out some of this things I suggested to people and they rejected so I was just trying them out myself, I didn’t plan to make an album, but you know how it is, people hear one song, it is nice, record another one and I did, before you know it the songs that I recorded got to pastor Chris table, I did not even know about it, we were having a global service it was December 31st night and I was there as a keyboardist sitting down when Pastor Chris came out preaching then he walked towards me and whispered to me that your song that I heard are you ready to sing it now, my heart just flew because I had never held a microphone in the church before and here I am, being asked to sing to the whole world, I just started sweating immediately, I didn’t know when I nodded my head to say yes, I think my head moved on its own, then he asked if the sound department had my soundtrack and I said I don’t know, he sent someone to go and ask, and I was just hoping that they should say they don’t have it and the guy came back that they have it and that was it! he gave me the microphone, the first time anybody will be giving me microphone to sing was in front of the whole world and it is not that I had started going for programs then I was still in the studio just doing my thing, so I held the microphone, I just started singing, I didn’t know what took over me, I watched the video after the program, people lifted their hands up, people were on the floor even pastor was singing it word for word which means he has been listening to it, from that night in fact, my Facebook page was jammed and the story has not been the same, so that was actually my turning point."
