Hi guys trust we are doing well.
So I was ill and traveled overseas for proper checks. Reason why I've not been keeping up to price updates this past days.
From day one, I have maintained that this thread is quite open for everyone especially genuine youths struggling to pay bills. Feel free to do your thing and be sincere
Customers and clients can reach my manager directly or send me a message on whasaap until I return to Nigeria soonest.
God bless our hustles |

udysweet: This is sad. Imagine having to keep giving end users excuses. A dear sister was lamenting bitterly to me, I was just looking because I also have same issue. Why can't we just be truthful. Lagos to the East isn't small journey. If you are not there to monitor, can't those milling for you fear God? I never fit do Palm Oil fully, I no get that financial capability and physical power to. I'd rather just close shop on this but I no Sabi give up for business. This Oil thing was done by my late mum, I just said to pick up again but Omo I'm getting very frustrated Not exxonerating myself, I've been in this position countless times. Infact I have about three customers complaining about the oil we supplied to them recently. Truth is, so many things go on during production and every damn employee at slightest opportunity wants to cheat or cut corners. I have also developed a policy of staying in touch with my clients and working to replace oil they don't like however long it takes. Customers on the thread can confirm that I do this. It's more difficult for people like us doing this business alongside a job. I know how many times I've had to change oil for customers cos of this issues but we will never give up. I sha don't want to talk about the challenges of logistics especially for clients buying smaller quantities. I've sacked a couple of staffs but we'd keep pushing to get better. One thing I'd advice newbies on this thread is taking out time to read, learn from our experiences and get better than us. |

sirmike123: Thanks to danparosky and other members of this thread giving out their knowledge and experience for newbies like me to learn. I'm planning to go into palm oil business this year (though in a small way).
I still a few questions to ask the house... 1. How would a newbie like me know and differentiate a quality Palm oil from a bad one 2. Can the palm oil be stored in a deep freezer 3. Since almost everyone is into buying and storing till around the ember months when the price will go up, won't that someone affect the price then (looking at it from the angle of demand and supply) 4. How do newbies like me go about with the marketing since I'm just starting for the first time. E dey really move market at all?.... Thanks 1. This question has been addressed already sir. Please kindly read through the thread. 2. Most people say storing oil in freezer allows to validate the quality especially if it doesn't congeal. Am of a different opinion. You can store small quantity edible oil but it might congealed if the stearin percentage is quite much. Best is store in dry room on planks. 3. There's a large market for palm oil and storage alone hasn't been able to close the void during off peaks. This we've seen over and over again along the years 4. Start with quality at low price. Everyone wants value which is pocket friendly. All the best sir |
Food › Re: Nigeria Ranks 3rd In Dog Meat Consumption by donparosky(m): 7:53pm On Apr 08, 2022 |
MadamVanessa:

In Sociology and Anthropology, we were told that no culture is superior that all culture are the same. So it's height of foolishness and a total display of illiteracy if you used your own way of life as a yardstick to measure or judge others.
For your culture to frown upon eating of dog, or see eating of dog as a taboo, doesn't mean that dog is not edible or other culture do not welcome it or there's anything wrong with those who eat it.
In this thread I have seen how people used their culture to judge others because eating of dog meat is seen as a taboo in their culture.
In most culture, the cow meat and the goat meat we eat mostly here, is seen as a taboo. You dare not kill a cow or goat .
The level of illiteracy exuded by alot of people here is saddening and it clearly shows that we don't read.
So my dears,
God will punish any idiot or any fool that will come here and mention calabar or Akwa Ibom. You'll tell me if the meat you eat also is not an animal, or the one you eat was approved by God, while dog meat was disapproved by God.
Those who are free to shout calabar or Akwa Ibom are those who hasn't eaten any type of animal meat including fish. If you eat cow meat, fish, goat, chicken etc and you come here to bash Akwa Ibom people, God will punish you.
Only true vegetarians and fruitarians can condemned eating of dog meat and it make sense, not some uselesssss idiotic nonentities that eat cow meat and goat meat voraciously. Ethnocentricism. The tendency to believe in the superiority of ones culture and judging others by it |

It's still hanging at 16500. If diesel and logistics cost doesn't drop, oil prices might not come down. |

DeLaRue: Please what happens if it exceeds 30 degrees.
I think temperature can easily exceed 30 degrees in storage facilities in my area. Nothing so long it's not so hot but the more expansion from heat, the more it looses freshness and stearin |
