My man why won't u run at a loss sometimes when u keep on offering people palm oil at production price. U can't produce palm oil or buy it at #7k and u still quote the same #7k to your potential customers na. I know u are a good and compassionate kinda who is very honest but in business u need to be very strategic so that u will always make profits with every deal. Am not advising that u become greedy but I mean like if u got the oil at #7k then let ur selling price start at #7.5k so u can make gain. I know u are good in business but I just have to write this bro. One love.
I would like to ask, have u tried exporting palm oil b4?
one love sir and many thanks.
I have not exported oil personally but i have few clients buying from us for exports.

Palm oil business is dynamic. You must learn to work with time, trend and never be selfish.

I had paused all orders earlier this year for clients buying less than 100 kegs.

Later on i stopped all sales and transactions with individuals irrespective of quantity except for clients willing to come down and meet us.

This was a tough call but at that moment i wanted to concentrate on companies with reputation who had logistics and could afford lifting our CPO/SPO without hitch.

So many people called me out and accused me of neglecting the middle buyers. It was a tough decision. I am deeply sorry about my decisions but it was just the best way to save my business at that moment.

I have been talking with good spirited dealers and middle men here on physical stores like i said earlier and i hope it comes to fruition soon. i really want to see everyone getting access to palm oil easily and at a cheap cost.

At the mean time i still do not supply to individuals until this issues are resolved. However, individuals who can afford large volumes can send a mail.

As per the future of palm oil: Risk is a core component of every business. If i were to share my losses, i would be scaring a lot of young entrepreneurs. Truth is, just do what you feel is right and be ready to accept the consequences of your actions.

God bless our hustles

Just in:

A 20 litre Jerry-Can of Palm Oil is NOW more expensive than a barrel of Brent Crude at today's market rate of US$15.
Our government neglected red oil for black oil.

Health / Re: Having HIV Is Not A Death Sentence by donparosky(m): 12:00am On Apr 18, 2020
For the sake of learning, there are people who can never contract HIV. I know people will start quoting me but hey chill.

In simple terms, HIV virus usually binds to the CD4 receptor, fortunately some people have a gene defect in the co-receptor for HIV and this prevents them from contracting HIV.

What happens is this: The virus dies off when she cannot attach herself to tge CD4

please this is no licence to flirt, just felt i should contribute after reading some weird comments

Donparosky please stop. Are we aware of any training that you are telling us about your training? Your last communication here was how you were duped and how you couldn't keep to the promises you made to some of your customers. Why don't you start with addressing those issues instead of talking about training.

We are not kids here and we know you are back because it is time for palm oil sales. So stop already. I know your goons will come out to attack my post but I don't even care.

PS: anybody that loves palm oil business should pay close attention to iHart's comments.
Bros we are not competing here OK.
if you have oil to sell or trying to Hype another dealer mbok kindly do it freely cos no one is stopping you. If you notice I encourage everyone here to sell and do business freely.
Unfortunately our problem as Nigerians is that we love to compete negatively with others.

Did u read my post well, I went for a training somewhere and just returned. What is wrong in updating the house.

You see, I have had competitors open fake monikers to blackmail me and my business on this platform . I have had people dupe me out of trust all from this platform but unfortunately I've not fallen cos my source is God. maybe I should let you know that I am a career man who just decide to help others succeed and encourage others to hustle.

Senior man please tell whoever asked you cos YOUR MONIKER WAS JUST CREATED SOME DAYS BACK to make the post that the world is big enough for everyone to succeed. Negative comments like this have made me withdraw from this thread and contemplate inviting mods to take it down but I see some genuine guys hustling here and I wish them the best including poster @ poster.

I have had situations were people I never supplied oil still come here to say trash lol. Last last I will just be keeping mute over some irrelevant comments.

Finally let make it clear that I have rejected so many orders from clients until my outlets are ready. I only intend to supply clients who are willing to come down and pick their oil.

God bless our hustle

abeg forgive my typo, am typing at work

Good evening house, happy new year. Trust we have been doing great? Thank God.
So I was coming to update the house after the little misunderstanding between myself and Don, only to read about the scam issue. This is truly sad to hear. I pray that you get to the root of this and get the scammer nabbed soonest. That was too great a risk you took, for someone who's always been about full payments before shipping. It's well though.
To the issue at hand, as discussed, I had a total of about 8 kegs and a small keg returned, I have received 5kegs as replacement, and he has promised me that I'll get the rest 3kegs and the little extra, soon. All costs were borne by him, pls help me thank him. Hopefully I'll get the balance of the 3kegs soonest.
Then I have also come to realise some workers are sent from hell. You have a standard you maintain in your business but when you are away briefly, these people can ruin your reputation. Don, I pray that God will help you to recover from your loss and also bless you with dedicated workers who'll take the business like theirs so your quality standards can be sustained.
God bless everyone once again who intervene, I'm grateful . Thank you once again Don, Sosongo
Aww many thanks madam.
One thing is certain about my business with you, its been a good and healthy one and we've bonded beyond business.
Apologies for all the wahala and many thanks for always checking up. Your encouragement and support is indisputable.
To the newbies I want to just add that risk is an integral component of business and you must just be ready. Am still working on putting up physical stores to mitigate some of our challenges.
To everyone who called in, texted or commented here to sympathize and make suggestions on the issue I reported, I am very grateful. For me its always beyond business.
God bless our hustles

Good evening guys and a happy new year.
well it's been a while and people will be wondering why it took me so long to make an update here.........
I created this thread to unite dealers and make palm oil business easier for everyone of us.
Last month I sent 200 Kegs of palm oil to a client in Ibadan who contacted me from this platform. we agreed Pay on delivery. My boys arrived late and as usual delivered the oil. As we were having cargo for Lagos, the client claimed the amount was huge and cannot do a transfer which is correct. So I asked them to proceed to Lagos expecting payment the next day.
Until date both the oil and client is no where to be found. Funny enough we later got to know where we delivered the oil wasn't even his outfit.
The police is helping but nothing tangible for now. I feel terrible about some people on this platform trying to milk others out of their hard earned money but it's well......

Henceforth I have put a hold on all pay on delivery orders and until I put up an outlet in Lagos, Ibadan et al, we may not be taking any orders for now. You can do business with other sincere dealers in the platform or visit us in Akwa Ibom.

To those I promised to sell off their oil or buy off, honestly na man make man wicked. I don't think I can do that again, sort yourself out mbok..... it's just difficult to trust humans.

Finally whenever the outlets are ready and stocked, I'd inform them house. I wish everyone doing business the best....

God bless our hustles.

hello... Here is a new student Sir...

boss you are capable at realityshot.
However, let me address then one by one.
1. Palm oil biz is lucrative if you are tenacious. Truth be told, I lost close to 500k at my first investment, long story but tenacity can recoup the money within a week.

2. Getting a plantation is cool but you must be sure of location and be willing to pay for security else Evey month na only two bunches you go Harvest, funny but true

3. Transportation of fruits to your mill during scarcity period is usually an issue except you have trucks so it's advisable you make concrete plans for fruit downtime.

4. Getting buyer is the easiest thing if you have quality oil on ground and your ain't greedy.
Finally all information required is on this thread, read from page one..... The good, bad, ugly and ask questions.

Good evening house.
I just want to sincerely appreciate every single one of you and your inputs in settling the dispute between myself and Don, I say God bless you.
I have just been a bit blank hence I've not been able to comment since then tho I've been reading comments.
So let's just say all is well that ends well. As I'm typing, the 7 Kegs are safely at the Lagos park, waiting for onward movement to Itam park to be exchanged. I'll also come back to update you on receiving them
I've had an offline conversation with Don and he's opted to exchange them for me, also bearing all costs, please help me thank him smiley God bless you sir.
My intention wasn't to come here at all, but things happen. So on that note, I'm going to go back and edit my post here so intending clients won't have double mind. Guys Don is legit, just that sometimes workers will find a way to throw in spanners inside our work.
Apologies to those who felt offended and to you too Don,sosongo.
Please if you have quoted me at any time,do unquote so I can edit.
God bless you all once again
I should be the one thanking you Ma.
The whole thing was my inability to engage you cordially as courtesy demands and I take full responsibility as I learn everyday.
@udysweet thank you
@ everyone thank you

@donparosky and the house i'm having an order from Lagos, please i need an insight how much oil is sold there and possibly its logistics my oil location is in umuokenne in owerri west LGA of IMO state
oil is currently 10500-11k in Lagos but it varies with location.
About logistics, how many kegs are you moving? If it's 100-130 kegs you may just go for J5 and pay full load, it's around 90k from IMO towers but lesser quantity you need to use Transport companies or trucks moving fruits and onions to Lagos though this takes longer days but it's the cheapest option

Ok I know people always like to take advantage of an opportunity.
Returning or exchanging of any goods and products after purchase always have a guaranteed period or timeframe in which when it elapses the seller will have nothing again to do with the sold product.
So, I am recommending for a set period in which a buyer is to lay complain, report or return the goods (palm oil in this case) sold to him/her.

2weeks to 1month from the time it get to the buyer should be ok. In my own opinion.
thank you.
I am considering one month window already.

Is it advisable to combine palm oil and groundnut oil for startup? I.e to do 30kegs of palm oil and 30kegs of groundnut oil(kings cooking oil) in a shop and do both wholesales and retail sales?
Its a good combination.
Vegetable oil sells faster than palm oil but less profit. You just use it to keep busy while making profit from Palm oil.

I want to also add that palm oil business requires skills and basic understanding of how to store, preserve, etc.
All this have been addressed on this platform. I'd suggest intending buyers should go through all this before venturing. Palm oil business is not as easy and juicy as most of us imagine at inception. A lot of dedication is required.
Business To Business / Re: PALM OIL BUSINESS( Productions, Sales and Storage) by donparosky(m): 6:38am On Oct 30, 2019
So this issue of returning oil must be addressed so it doesn't keep coming up. A client whom I supplied oil (50) kegs since march this year called that her oil is bad now that she wants to sell them and she's returning them.
You See I only deal with First grade oil and I refer clients requesting second grade to this platform.
After much talk, I asked her to send them down but on her cost which she obliged.
When the oil arrived, we discovered nothing was absolutely wrong with the oil. It congealed with white patches due to cold and storage weather but just simple sun drying did the magic.
Well long story short, I offered to buy them up and she agreed and it's settled.

Now am bringing this up so people, clients, experts, make suggestions on what should be done about this issues on clients returning oil after several months. If she had come here to complain and claim victim, the stories would be different, people might begin to call me scammer and various names.
please I'd be grateful for inputs on how best to address this issues.
God bless our hustles
