To be frank, I am not seeing any significant drop in price again but let's wait for April to draw conclusions.
My reasons are solely based on high cost of diesel and, logistics. By first week of April, if the prices still hover round the same range, you can buy.

This is just a personal opinion. You could share yours too so we learn

Best time is usually March, April and May. This year looks different.
We observing the injection of old cash back into the economy! Most fruit sellers never wanted transfers and those who had cash during the scarcity bought oil even at 10k. It's back to 16 -18k currently. Just follow updates here

Palm oil prices are dropping, especially because of the cash crunch. Imagine oil is 12/13k today in some interior villages in both Ebonyi and Akwa Ibom states, as against 16/17k last week. Na who get cash, de buy good oil cheap.

It's down to 10k in Akwa Ibom cash and 15k transfer

I apologize this days I've been very occupied and have been traveling quite too often on business trips.

As per markets you could sell your products in Abuja, they are a couple of them but retailers would really price you down.... If your target is Abuja, your best bet is Eateries, hotels, boarding schools etc. That's how I started after too many wahala from market women.

After gathering enough info from this thred and some other places, I finally bought a keg of palm oil for a start on April 17. Just recently, i noticed that the oil has become thicker than it was when I got it newly. I am planning to sell it off before the week runs out but my fear is that buyers might see it as a bad oil. Please is there anything I can do about it, I need una advice please oo

Thick oil doesn't necessarily mean bad oil.

Firstly you can Sun it up but it'd sleep off when it's cold. This option is best if the thickness isn't too bad!

If it's very thick, I mean solid, then boiling is your best bet. However while you'd be able to get a watery good nice oil after boiling, you won't get the same volume when you are done.

When buying oil for long storage, it's wise to get sth with more olein proportion.

Try to agitate the keg vigorously first before any of the options above especially if you stored them well.

Its the weather. There's an increase in fruit ripening within the month due to weather. Once we leave October the price will definitely shoot up again......

This is from experience. I've had lease that went south let alone verbal negotiations.

Your best bet is a legal agreement. Money nor dey Naija
