happy Sunday Ekg911 and everyone. It's going down. let's update price from our locations. 13k this morning in Akwa Ibom. Lagos is 20-22k, Abuja 19k. That's the few am sure of at the moment |
It's 14500 this afternoon at Akwa Ibom. Lagos moved to 22k. |
McPolomy:good morning sir. sorry I've been a bit busy. can you resend your messages tomorrow morning |
If things go normal, the trend would look something like this.. Price would drop deep in second and third week of February but the effect won't be felt much in Lagos, Abuja, Kano and Oyo immediately. we looking at first week of March before before everywhere begins to experience uniform drop. pardon me, am not very good in writing much |
iHart:Not sure it's first . oil still hovering from 15 to 17 in local villages for first grade. in short it went up to 23k again this morning in Lagos. As earlier said, oil would start dropping soon but it'd gradual. |
The price curve is almost flattened. The decline would set in From first week Feb hopefully. mbok this is just me thinking before. |
Let me share a story to motivate someone here. An undergraduate contacted me to supply 50kegs of oil in Zaria last year. I did at 7k all cost. Long story short, I resold those oil for him last month at 22k each. Do the maths. He's already a millionaire. |
Again let us not expect buying oil at less than 7k this year even at peak periods. The cost of producing is getting high. |
Good day, I've been in Lagos for a while and have been meeting with clients. DM if you'd want to be a part of us this year. Oil price across the country : Akwa Ibom : 14000( went up a bit( Cross River 13k Edo 16k Lagos 17k(mainland and Island 18k Abia 16500 Enugu 16k Ondo 17k Ogun 18500 Kogi 19k( igala oil Abuja 18-19k Rivers 16500-17k Kaduna 15k second grade and 17k first grade Kano 14k second grade and 15500 first grade Anambra 17k Ebonyi 15500 Katsina 15k This are updates from clients and contact from this locations. As a check, kindly help confirm from your location. God bless our hustles |
chirality:it was 16k yesterday at Aba |
Ekg911:good morning. monitor price and key in from March |
jhoeblocx:lol senior man time never reach to enter bush na. Biko wait for March upwards |
Obaolami:Sorry boss for responding late. it's still 12-12500 here. The decline is slow but would take pace from second week as market opens up. Truth be told the least we may get oil this year would be around 7k. They may not be any significant drop even with the boarders opening. This is partly due to high cost of processing utilities. |
Palmoil:Just do yourself a favor and quote the price here. sell them off as fast as you can. This is not to create panic but the handwriting is clear. cheers |
Palmoil:price is dropping and wavering. if you stored oil, try to dislodge them latest January second week. Don't be greedy. it was 12500 this afternoon, it's currently 12k in AKS as I type. I'd collect price from all locations and drop by morning. God bless our hustles |
RealityShot:lol na God boss. Next year would be better we pray. it's been a while jare...... |
I had wanted to keep mute on this issue but just so people still young in the biz can learn. There's never a biz without challenges but how you managed them especially with clients. I feel donklez did not manage the situation quite well. I think late 2018 or so, a woman bought some oil from me in Lagos, after about seven months she called that some of the oil was bad and needed me to change them. Well before the deal I had actually assured her that I was going to change the oil for her if anything happens after storage. So after almost a year she returned 17 kegs. That same year 2019 I had so many issues which I shared here and could not make her oil. march this year I made the oil and was about sending down to Lagos when the lock down happened. She needed freshly milled oil and nothing more. So after the lock down she said those oil I made won't pass what she wanted and I offered a refund of her cash but she declined. Fruits have soared due to rain but I've got no option than to make those oil because the client in question have been very patient. All through this moment, I never ignored her calls even when it wasn't comfortable. I kept her in the picture and above all assured her she'd get what she demanded. Am putting this here just so we know everyone including myself isn't perfect but how we deal with situations matter alot. At donklez please see how to address this issue mbok. On a final note, be ready to rise more than you fall in biz. God bless our hustles |
I have had so much messages I could not attend to. I'd be very free Next week Monday through Friday and would respond to those i couldn't. I want to encourage all dealers on the thread to be as free and sincere as possible as your next recommendation comes from your previous supplies. We can change the narrative of Trust especially palm oil on this platform..... you know the stories |
I am proud of our maturity in handling this issues. Challenges happens in business but how we handle them matters. I have been in touch with those concerned for a resolution before this latest development which is very commendable. Many thanks to everyone taking it upon themselves to ensure this thread stays true to her mandate of bringing Oil dealers together. God bless our hustles |
Callmeboss:the Agric breed with 10 bunches for 25litres is rare to be honest. I got some over hyped breed from an agency and 12 bunches gave 26.5 litres. On the safest range, 15 for good FFB with good flesh and 20 for poor FFB. They both have their pros too. The fleshy ones with good yield don't usually have big kernels while the ones with big kernels (local usually have big seeds but low yield. it's easy to distinguish both, Just a bite on the fruit will do the magic. |
