Don Pre, if my phone develops a fault that needs warranty activation, how do I remove SuperSU, so my voided warranty will be unvoided?
follow what RU said.... full unroot via SuperSU app

then flash stock recovery via sp flash tool like you flashed twrp

uninstall any other apps that requires root access like busy box, lucky patcher, xposed framework etc...

Done!... brand new M3 mini

Multitasking isn't so bad... Tho It can be solved by rooting and installing ram manager pro

here are the screenshots, BTW you can change the default colors of your settings and messaging app by Amigo's chameleon app... Keyboards are stock and touch pal, I use Kii hence no need to screenshot my keyboard

The L5 is a very good one too, my bad thanks.

The C5 & C8 don't fit in cos they're worth more than 25k.

No such thing as an outdated phone my dear
C5 = 21k

C8 = 24k

I dunno what you'd call those Motorola phones that looks like an antenna but I think... OUTDATED does it

@donpre,I want to get this phone but d poor multitasking discouraged me.Please how bad is it?Are there solutions, like a setting in the phone to improve multitasking? Also, can I open candy crush, minimize it to browse and still be able to return to it without the game restarting? Also how good is the phone in terms of camera, design, weight and audio quality? Please other users are free to chip in their suggestions.I wanted to go for the infinix note 2,but can't waste my money on a 1 gig ram phone selling for 31k.This gionee m3 mini seems to be the best budget phone around.
the fact is every 1gb RAM phone around has same issue.... I'd say get the 2gb RAM version of the Infinix hot 2 or the gionee S plus(I think it has 2 or 3gb RAM)

Apart from the fact that 1gb RAM ain't good at multitasking, everything else is gold...
Camera = Superb
Design = For a lady, I think the Gold version would be perfect but the phone is kinda bulky, due to its large battery
Display = Awesome for its price
Sound = I dunno what RU is saying but my headset doesn't ever leave my ears... Amazing sounds especially when you mess around with DTS
Battery = Highlight of the phone... Super awesome

This music player haven't seen any lyrics so far. Has anyone been able to use theirs? I am tempted to go for TTPOD
download song lyrics file in ".lrc", rename it to the exact way the song is named i.e "Chris brown-Don't wake me up.mp3".... "Chris brown-Don't wake me up.lrc"

then copy to "SD card => music => lrc"

How To Root Gionee M3 mini By Donpre

Well before you start, I hope and assume you know what root is and have decided to accept every responsibility that comes with it

Disclaimer: I am in no way responsible for any harm that befalls your device, Nigerian's 2nd civil war, World war 3, thermonuclear explosions or even the destruction of the universe as a result of you following this tutorial... Therefore follow this tutorial at your own risk

Requirements:
**A PC[winXP - Win 10]

**Mtk vcom drivers for your windows version and architecture type(i.e 32 or 64bit)
Win XP link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/nv09onoh78s0d3i/VCOM_2K_XP.zip?dl=0

win 7-10 link:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/rbsg2d0n5yd4bvb/Win7-8_VCOM_Drv.zip?dl=0

Guide: http://thetechnolyte..ru/2014/04/installing-vcom-drivers-in-windows-81.html

**Sp flash tool
link: http://mtk2000.ucoz.ru/bbk/SPW532.rar

**Recovery image... hovateck's or ru123123's, any should work, tho I've only tested hovateck's

Ru's image: https://www.dropbox.com/s/esgylrf82c0ea55/TWRP-and-ROOT-m3mini.rar?dl=0

hovateck's image: https://docs.google.com/uc?id=0B9srKhKuVIMnTnZVMExfX3BkMVZ5clJKYlZSTlhTMTV0NVJv

** Supersu binary
link: https://docs.google.com/uc?id=0B9srKhKuVIMna0xCdXlLS2dIYUU... RU's zip has it already

**USB cord
**Strict adherence to every word I type

if you're through meeting all requirements, and transferred all the files to your PC... we can now start

Note: Grab a drink at this point, just to ease your spirit

++Create Gionee M3 mini folder in your desktop and move all the files there except super su zip
++Extract Sp flash tool zip into a folder
++Extract recovery and scatter file into another folder
++Extract Vcom drivers and install them... Tut guide is above. For win Xp, choose either 32 or 64bit depending on your OS type, right click then tap install
**After you're sure Vcom drivers are installed, you can proceed

++Launch Sp flash tool by double clicking "Flash tool.exe" or running it as administrator (if you have administrative rights)
++makes sure its at "Download only"
++ click scatter loading, then locate scatter file by "Desktop => Gionee M3 mini then locate the folder you extracted it to"
++When its loaded, only Recovery should be ticked... any other could harm your phone
**make sure twrp recovery img and scatter file are in the same folder

++ click download at the top of sp flash tool
++Switch off device, remove battery then reinsert battery but do not switch it ON
**Make sure power is stable at this point... a laptop or UPS enabled desktop is needed... make NEPA no fall your hand

++After clicking download, Stop should be green... Now plug device and then wait... It shouldn't take long(approx 30secs max), if after 5 minutes nothing happens, remove your device and restart the tutorial
++If everything works fine, you should get a "download OK"... if it shows any error, quote my moniker
++Remove phone and Reboot to recovery by pressing "Vol+ button and Power button" at the same time, stop pressing when the gionee logo comes on... You should see "TeamWin recovery project"... if you don't, redo the tutorial

**Continue with this part only if you have TWRP installed"

++Now in TWRP, swipe the round icon at the bottom to modify system, trust me it'd save you a lotta stress
++ Tap install, change storage, then locate the Supersu binary.zip, tap it then swipe the round icon to install... wait for it to finish then reboot
++Ignore system root warning after reboot by tapping "close"

Congratulations!!!! You're rooted

++Free up to 6gb in your SD card, then reboot to recovery again to do a backup... Mine was 5.3gb in size, yours could be smaller or even bigger, depending on the number of apps you've got
++Tap backup, some options should be ticked by default, Ru suggested backingup NVRAM
++After backup, your free to enjoy your phone

Root is as dangerous as it is fun, Don't go giving root permission to any crappy app that's asks for it.... and please don't quote the whole tutorial

all modufication is - rename system file recovery-from-boot.p to recovery-from-boot.bak

Don't worry, MODIFY and be happy )

after installing SuperSU and first start system you can see notification. press "close" or something like this. i don't know how it translated in your firmware.

JUST our kernel size is 6.46 MB ) and TWPR size about 4.5-5mb. total compiled size can't be lowest than 12MB.
And CWM recovery did not support Android 5.1 partiton.
