on/off sound - it's normal mode. Phone waits only 1 second to start updating firmware. After 1 second it reconnect only for charging.

After downloading those files, the bigger one that is over 800mb didn't unpack. Do I flash them like that or do I unpack them?

Its in rar format na.... You need to extract

Try using B1 archiver, 7zipper or any PC software like winrar... If it still fails then download again, the file must have been corrupted whilst downloading

How can i change the default launcher on this phone please? I've downloaded go launcher and google launcher already, but it's not changing. It's the default launcher i keep getting back.

Good morning good people, I mistakenly deleted my gionee m3mini this morning. So please anyone with a twrp backup of his/her m3mini should please help a brother that made a stupid mistake. By the way, leave xposed installer zip file alone o. My phone refused to boot 4 almost an hour because I flashed in xposed installer zip. So please I need a stock ROM of gionee m3mini. Thank u so much.

Anyway, 4peace uploaded his twrp backup some pages back, just download all the files he uploaded, extract and put in twrp/backup/folder and restore via twrp

Oga, you've said it again!! I have two apps like that, ram manager pro nd kernel manager. But using them is another thing entirely. Just get the app, and screenshot the settings and processes you set on your app. Thnks.

Okay install app; Ram manager pro

Tap the top left corner to bring out a drawer

Choose RAM

Change RAM settings to RAM tuner... then mess around till you get the one that suits your need... 50-50 is good but if you need more multitasking, then 75-25

sorry,not custom ROM but the ported ROM from d Russian guy. The mistake was made by the one who sent me the link to flash this rom without telling me the warnings b4 flashing. now its bricked and I just found out I wasn't supposed to flash all the phones files like preloader ...etc . ( its the sp flash tool files not twrp)

You see why I tell people to leave the sp flash tool firmware

Well its not a ported ROM... Its actually the stock ROM of the russian version of our phone with incompatible preloader files

Truthfully, I don't know how to help with this buh maybe 4peace or RU123123 can help... Just pray real hard that they've got a fix

I flashed my phone with Russia custom ROM and it got brick after it was successfully flashed and it refused to on
.. I tried flashing twrp to it and it showed brom 4032 error (dram error) tried flashing ROM back it continued to show dram error..what's d way forward.. I wan flash to original stock back up ROM..someone send me the link

What's the name of the custom ROM you flashed and how did you flash it(via TWRP or SP flash tool)

Brotherly, Tecno m5 minimises fifa14 so u can like a tagged post on Instagram, m3mini doesn't breathe in that direction. I could go on nd on bt it won't be necessary, our phone's multitasking is too poor dats why I'm seriously searching for a solution

does tecno m5 run on lollipop?... mention any 1gb ram lollipop device that can pull that stunt

its not necessarily a battery issue... 60 hours is you stretching it on a 4000mah battery, I think 40 hrs is good

Buh if you need such extended battery life... you can use the extreme mode, it can boost up to 200hrs+

charging will slow down around 70%+... so expect 3-4hrs of charging time

it's definitely an app that you installed... apps like data manager makes the phone heat up

just simply freeze most of your newly installed apps with system manager... Then check if same thing happens

I don't use the default or touchpal keyboard, as such I don't know how to help you with that


I'd advice you use another keyboard, you can install Swiftkey, Swype, Go keyboard etc.... I use Kii keyboard tho
