Try doing it on a PC. Normally these dates don't matter since you've already booked an appointment date, because I believe when you called you already told whoever answered you the date and time of your appointment. It's also stated at the email you received too. So either you choose the exact date you chose in order to continue with the online registration process or ignore it if it doesn't go and finish the process at the time of your appointment date. All is good. The most important thing is getting an appointment date and time.

I was able to book an appointment through the telephone then I got an email to register which I haven’t been able to. Try calling their numbers as early as 8am to book.

To those that have done the test, is registering on the mail sent necessary if you’ve already booked via phone call?

Yes, because when you get there, you'll be asked for the registration ID which you were given when you registered online. So follow the link you were given on the mail and fill the necessary information to get your registration ID.

I have tried paying the IHS surcharge of 1680 dollars using paga verve and paga linking my GTB to my paga account but it takes me back to the UK site saying "Error, we are having technical problems"
Is this a problem from the IHS site or is it the paga transaction?
Has anyone had this challenge and how did you pay for your IHS surcharge please?

No! Just take only the documents the UK Visa center requires which are the documents listed on your CAS.

1. Well, I have a Mathematics background and I have been teaching Further Mathematics close to 4 years now. I just wanted a switch in my career path and being that Data Science is kinda related to my first degree and I can demonstrate numerate skills. I don't think I will have much problem with the modules.
The only problem I may have in which I'm trying to devote my time at the moment is my 'programming skills' especially in the area of Python.

2. Data Science being one of the sexiest Job is in shortage worldwide and it's even listed on UK shortage occupation. Who wouldn't wanna stay back with the proposed PSW that will be introduced mid 2021? Staying back may be an option. Bournemouth and University of East Anglia are accredited by BCS.
Meanwhile, being one of Jobs in shortage ... I don't really think accreditation is compulsory to getting a good Job. If there are... I don't think it will be a problem.

3. Yes, the Universities have partnerships with companies. There are options for placements(more like internships) with their industry partners at Stirling and Bournemouth.

The bolded looks funny tho'... No one would wanna try such. Thanks once again.

Python is quite easy to learn especially for beginners like yourself if you put your heart and mind to it. Go to where your heart leads you. I'm pretty sure all three or four universities aren't offering the same course modules so choose the one whose course modules appeals to you the most.

Someone commented on this earlier today, that he went to the airport to verify and confirmed that it wasn't necessary for British Airways Passengers but if you still feel you want to play it safe then go ahead to take a Covid test to remove all doubts.

First application to Uk, No none straightforward message, no second interview and also didn’t get the BRP message.

Do not be frightened. If I could recall, someone here got their Visa and didn't get any message about BRP being sent.

August 29 Received mail that my BRP had been sent

August 31 I received the mail to pick up my passport.

Oh okay. That would mean less than 2- 3 minutes for one answer. Glad to know

Would say 10-15 mins. But you have to talk really slowly so that the interviewer can type your answers as you speak. When it’s too lengthy, you’d be asked to just summarize what you have to say cause there are other applicants waiting.

Cos some videos I saw on youtube they were giving candidates enough time to speak and go in details but Nigeria seem to be different since I've been seeing a lot of people complaining about the less time given to answer each questions.

It's not always the same. I had to do a 2nd interview over the phone for about 70mins. Note I said 2nd interview.

Some people have it easier than others.

You did yours at VI too? And I guess it depends on the interviewer. Also the way you answered each questions might have contributed to it too. In their case they might have given answers to three possible questions in one answer.
