Alderweireld is definitely the best defender in the EPL...
We put up the most promising performance of the season so far but it just wasn't to be, no thanKs to that stoke city GK.
The only positive is watching City drop points today and from what I saw, I think people have been showing them too much respect, go in there, play with intensity and grit and watch how Pep's boys fret like a division 2 team.
All those childish barca fans will not show up here today to defend their lord and saviour
Exactly what i've been saying, we all saw how they leaked goals when celtic came out to play them, they were fragile, swansea would have gotten something off them if not for that goat that elbowed De bruyne, against borussia in the first half it was the same thing, against man united in the second half, the same thing

You are right about teams showing them too much respect

This is just bad belle. Payet dribbled two defenders and rounded three others before finishing sublimely. How is that not magnificent?

Would you be this dispassionate if twas Martial who scored the goal?
Anyhow una wan see am, na una sabi, the goal make sense but e no reach to dey add exclamation mark on top

Yup of course it is.when messi beat 3 players and scored against bilbao, it was tagged a magical goal, but payet playing with a team short of confidence took on 5 players and finished beautifully to raise their morale ia tagged overrated
Payet did not take on 5 players, that's the exaggeration, he dribbled past the first defender on the flank, went into the box, went past the second defender(that wasn't a dribble sef) then moved the ball forward, the rest defenders were expecting him to take the shot but he didn't until he got to the other side, how's that taking on 5 defenders? Or have we suddenly forgotten the meaning of take ons

The goal was nice no doubt, with the way people were talking about it, I had to download the highlight and it wasn't all that

This nothing close to the Maradona-esque goal messi scored

Imagine the irony, we have two players in our squad that cost us 50m and 90m but money doesn't win another club titles

Not cattermole, not David moyes, not you, you are not a fan of the club so who we rate as united standard shouldn't concern you

Thanks

I did not see the match. From your write up you are expecting too much from fellaini. In his mind all he needs to do to believe he has played well and contributed his quota is to not lose the ball and that means plenty of simple passes to the nearest player even if non of the passes are forward passes not to talk of initiating and attack or doing an incisive defense splitting pass to put a striker through on goal.

In fellaini's case I can't even say "you can't give what you don't have" because I have seen fellaini torment US when he was in everton. I guess the roll he plays now maybe hampering him from performing that way.

The truth is that fellaini is not a Man United type of player, simple.
You've said all there is to be said about Fellaini, I rest my case

You are absolutely right... I enjoyed the Leicester match and I believe it was one of our best matches but I was not carried away. Three goals from set pieces and one from open play. I believe we do not create enough chances and it's even worse when we play defensively compact teams. I believe we would have been better if Martial was in good form like last season.

We gave too many average players who never raised their games when needed. I think we need a very dynamic right winger.
I read a piece that said no Team has had more shots on target than united this season, 76shots on target, we've averaged one shot on goal for every 3.8minutes of possession

No serious top team would use Fellaini in the midfield. How he's one here in such very important position is beyond me.
