Martial might be injured but apart from defensive stand point, why is Young preferred to Mata...
As for Fellaini, it's just disappointing, we could do with Carrick's precise passes and control today...
Jose just confirmed Martial is injured, i'm not too worried about young because I know what he's capable of on the flank but fellaini? I just don't know mehn, Carrick would have been a better option

United fans never learn. .

They brought us the stinking Kagawa is better gist. . We know how it ended
They also brought us the Depay is better gist . . .We also know how that ended

Now they have brought the Mkhitaryan gist. . and the dude is not even a guaranteed started for United.

You lots(most especially Dopejemi) dont have shame?

But naaah. Lets us go 5years ago when the great armenian ruled the Ukrainian league . . . . . Ukraine?? That one na country?

He is so good, he has managed 1 start for UTD this season. . Even Dortmund washed their hands off a lil while back on the possibility of having him back. I mean, this is the Dortmund that loves taking back their prodigal sons

I am not an advocate of comparing Hazard to the likes of Neymar, Messi or Ronaldo. I do however believe he is better than a lot of names some of these muchachos throw around here.
Oga, when it comes to what matters most in football which is goals and assists, mkhitaryan sh.its on hazard, whether he copped that stat in Kenya is nobody's business, hazard also played in a shi.t league in France and his output still no near

If I want drimbling, i'll call hazard, if I want goals i'll call mkhitaryan and de bruyne

Bye

Yes very unlucky in the first half. We were over ran in the second half. But I agree that if we had put away those chances in the 1st half the second half would have been a stroll in the park. I hope we get our act right today.
Hopefully we will

RM have a team as good as barca but when they play against barca they play extra hard because they know what to expect. Barca will definitely press hard up front and try to keep the ball.
I praised Pochettino for that match. His team kept the ball well and made sure they won almost all the necessary 50-50 ball. They were not losing the ball in dangerous places. They worked extra hard but because we have the most expensive player in our team we don't see why we should work extra hard. Maybe we expect our opponents to just roll over for us. Celtic and Tth worked hard and they were rewarded. We need to work hard and not be in a hurry to lose the ball when we get it.
Against Everton, would you say city were unlucky? Or they didn't deserve to win?
City were unlucky not to win

If the manager instruction about the use of the ball is not clear what do you expect. I don't believe it was clear and Pogba didn't mind taking on 3 players at once continuously when it was obvious he will get the same results which is losing the ball to the opponents. Mourinho was about hitting city fast and hard but city was ready for that by keeping the ball. They made sure they were first to every long ball forward even when not so long. And what did they do when they got the ball? They kept it just to frustrate the opponent. If you didn't notice this I did. I was just laughing when I realised what they were doing. Keep the ball, pass around and then look for a sharp pass to KDB or Ihenacho. We were lucky those guys were wasteful in the second half.
This evening will be interesting though. Waiting to see how we play with and without the ball.
You shouldn't be told how to keep a ball on the field of play, it's basic common sense which fortunately for me Lingard doesn't have

I agree with the rest

When they got the ball they were always in a hurry to fling a long pass to an attacker instead of doing the simple things of playing with your nearest man opening spaces then look for a through pass forward. It's easier to deal with long balls forward unless you have a player like Drogba who is always handful against any defender especially in the air. Lingard gets the ball and instead of playing with your team he wants to take on the defenders. Same with Miki and Pogba. It's easier to beat an advancing opposition with a pass to another player unless you have enough space to beat and run into. When our attackers lose balls at will because they feel they can dribble it creates problems for the rest of the team especially when playing with a team fast on the ball.

I don't expect some of you to agree with me of course after we don't have to play anything. Just win the match and win the trophy. Lol. Na magic na. Mourinho na magician. Lol
I actually agree with you, what I don't get is you saying it's mourinho's fault the players couldn't keep the ball

If you saw my earlier posts you would see where I made reference to hazard needing to improve on his goal output!

I'm not comparing hazard to miki sef...but if hazard joins united he would be a guaranteed starter! One of miki or martial would be on the bench no doubt.....this guy was player of the season in an extremely difficult league..he deserves some props...he can still get back to that level if he applies himself...I think he is unhappy at chelsea for some reason...miki still has a lot to prove in england...so far..not good

Fashi mikis dortmund stats...after all everybody dey shine for that joke of a bundesliga.....
Have you seen mkhitaryan's shaktar stats?

No doubt hazard will be a starter, but he just can't bench someone with a better output, it will better if they all start, he can play as an AM

Mourihno default tactics were as clear as daylight - his intention was to sit deep & hit City on the Counter.

IMO, Our manager accorded Pep too much respect (probably due to his poor record against the Spaniard). It's okay to be cautious against top teams but with the heavy investments in the squad, we shouldn't be willing to be on the back foot against any opposition whatsoever a home game - that's my grudge with Mourihno as regards that particular match!!
Will you also say conte's default setting was to sit deep and hit arsenal on the counter? Considering the way arsenal came at them

We were pressed hard right from the moment the ref blew the whistle, so we can't possibly say that was Mourihno's default tactics, when your opponent presses you that hard, you have no choice but to defend first before anything, we all didn't expect That high pressing and if my memory serves me right, there was a time in that match(first half) were we held a high line

It's just like two cult groups going out for a brawl to claim the bragging rights but one came well prepared attacking the other from the get go, first they'll have to defend themselves, re group and attack, that doesn't mean it was what they set out to do

A clear example of "sit deep and hit on the counter" was city in the second half as we all saw Pep's instruction to his players

Jemi....if hazard comes to united...na rooney number dem go 1st give am...then the club would have to install seat belts on martials and mikis seats on the bench!

Then lingard and ashley youngs contracts would be terminated immediately! Hazard currently is better than all our wingers...until THEY prove us wrong......
Hazard and mkhitaryan output no be mate when we talk about goals and assists, I don trash that one for here before, mkhitaryan sh.its and pisses on hazard's fat asss when it comes to goals and assists, maybe na drimbling hazard take better pass am

As for martial, He is more direct than hazard, he's not the type that will dribble a player and stop, move again then stop when people don dey box dey wait for ball to score goal

Give me Costa abeg, forget jaguda, he's someone that can bail his team out of critical conditions, he does it for fun, heck! I'll even take mane

No be by push and stop bros, but if buying hazard will send rooney into retirement, lingard glued to his seat forever, then yes please

His first eleven wasn't wrong against city. The players were obviously not hyped enough psychologically. They didn't fully understand they have to give a 110% on the field starting from the kick off against a direct rival both for the trophy and bragging rights. Then they had no idea how to keep the ball after they got it. That to me is the failure of the coach and not the team selection.
The coach was supposed to tell them on the field how to keep the ball when they get it? What about those that kept the ball after they got it? Who are we going to attribute that success to?

Eden hazard is actually the only player I would like to see in a united shirt from this current chelsea team!

I think hazard with his technique, pace and awareness would flourish more in a team with a different style of play, maybe a more attack minded side like barca etc....but HE actually needs to improve on 2 things...his finishing and his set piece deliveries..he spurns a lot of chances and he actually has the talent to give chelsea 15 to 20 goals a season...

He also needs to get a bigger ego and start to try the sort of things on the pitch that his natural talents can make him do but his timid mind won't! That's when he will get to the next level! The tools are all there.......
And bench who? Martial? Mkhitaryan? No fncking way, except he is coming to put super glue on Lingard's seat

LOL. Bro, na wa to you o. Didn't you know it's Fergie's Time meaning United bribed the ref to continue the match until Terry scored? grin grin

Remember I told you these haters have two common symptoms - hypocrisy and amnesia? Well, read the link below dedicated to Chelsea's poor attitude towards the refs. When a site dedicated a column for your team to show how uncouth your team have been toward the ref, no-one should doubt who the real corrupt team who keeps escaping are.

https://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2015/mar/14/jose-mourinho-chelsea-respect-referees

The title of the editorial reads: Chelsea’s respect-to-referees record is poor but they are not alone.

And an excerpt from that link that exposes the hypocrisy and amnesia in these haters reads:

Imagine if United was awarded 4 PKs against Loserfool in one match, these haters would've been quoting it all the damn time. But since it's the opposite, they've developed amnesia. grin grin
Thank you my brother

This is a game in 2007

Fernando Torres slid a shot in at the far post to give Liverpool the lead, but Frank Lampard tied the score in the 62nd after Florent Malouda was given a penalty for jumping into Steve Finnan

This one

Chelsea penalty v West Ham: West Ham were denied a first win at Stamford Bridge in 14 years when referee Robert Madley pointed to the spot after adjudging Michail Antonio to have brought Ruben Loftus-Cheek down in the area. But there were strong doubts the challenge was made in the box, and our panel unanimously agreed it should has been a free-kick

Against that fool's club

Gunners counterpart Arsene Wenger claimed play should have been stopped for a free-kick to his team in the build-up to the opening goal, and that Chelsea were also awarded a soft penalty when Ramires went down in the box.

Against Southampton

Madley clearly decided that he wasn't going to give anything but 'nailed on' penalties which he was 100 per cent sure of. As a result, it was Southampton who suffered rather than Chelsea.

Branislav Ivanovic holding Virgil Van Dijk

This was a clear penalty as the Chelsea defender held his opponent's shirt as a free kick was swung into the penalty area.

Na Ferguson bribe the referees
