Dear Poster,

As a graduate, I believe you must have done more than enough of English reading and writing. What you should concentrate on now is speaking and listening. Watch and listen to any program in English, pay attention to what you hear and relate it to how what you learnt in school. Try to get a book on English grammar to learn English Grammar Structure. Be very conscious of the use of PAST, PRESENT and FUTURE TENSES, a lot of mistakes come from the wrong of tenses. Try mingling with people who always speak English, pay attention to how they speak.  Don’t bug yourself about making mistakes, if you fall, rise and move on and you get stronger. Always THINK in English. Most importantly, BE CONFIDENT in yourself and don’t be shy to speak. Start walking the path to correcting your English and don’t see it as your English is bad because that might weigh you down and get you discourages. But see is it as you want to improve on your English, that is, concentrate on the solution which is the way forward.

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He brought the message of salvation to mankind so that we could find our path back home. For him to fulfill on this earth, He had to be in flesh and blood. He suffered death on the cross because He stood firm that he was the Son of God and the Bringer of Truth, thereby putting a seal on His Word. Therefore, he fulfilled! On the contrary, denying His mission in the face of death would have meant victory to the darkness. The greatest prayer of intercession ever, was the one Jesus said on the cross, ‘Father, forgive them for they know not what they do.’ Why interceding if He was meant to be sacrificed for the sins of humanity? And after the betrayer who gave Jesus away realized the enormity of what he did, he returned the 30 pieces of silver he was paid and committed suicide.

The physical body of Jesus was just an instrument for him to walk the surface of this earth. Therefore, to say that the physical body/instrument that God used on earth can forgive sins is nothing but idolatry; which in this case is faith in physical blood, for the forgiveness of sins. Besides, how can blood from gruesome murder bring about salvation/forgiveness? It is obedience to His Words that brings salvation, not His blood. Put differently, His Words bring salvation, not His death. We have to redeem our sins by obeying His Words.

I quite agree with you that some visions/dreams are meant for you alone, for the purpose of your maturing. Personally, I have never had issues about relating my dreams with people especially family members because we all seem to be a family of dreamers. Basically, we all have some insights into our past lives. However, the truth is that no matter what people say about your dream/vision, NO ONE can take your personal experience away from you, the worst they can do is to doubt you and perhaps get you confused (if you let them anyway). This is not about the knowledge from a book, but personal experiencing in dreams/visions which is real.

A friend of mine told me a true life story about a little girl in Calabar many years ago. This incidence I am about to narrate happened when the little girl was 7 years old. The little girl woke up one morning and told her parents she was going to join her family in a nearby county. Her parents were stunned, perhaps they thought she was crazy and tried to shut her up but she refused. The next day, she told her parents she would lead them to her family but before then she would take them to the spot her she was hit by a car which lead to her death and that she would also take them to where she was burried. Good enough, her parents followed her. First of all, she took them to where she was hit by a car, as the owner of the house just by the road saw them looking confused and staring at a spot on the road, he walked up to them to ask what they were looking for/at.  They narrated the girl’s tales and the man confirmed that a woman with 7 children was killed by a car at that very spot, 9 years ago ( that is 2 years before the girl was born). Then they asked the man if he knew where the woman’s body was buried, the man said yes. So they told him the little girl would lead them there, she did and the man confirmed it.

Now to her ‘former’ family. I heard the little girl lead them to a compound and the man who joined them on the way confirmed that was the family of the woman who passed on lives there. As they entered, a man was sitting in front of small house in the compound; the girl ran to the man, gave him a hug and introduced herself as his wife who died years ago. To cut it short, the little girl met her former husband and children.

Reincarnation is a fact of life. When I was a little girl, I used to dream about my life in China. I got to know of the word ‘China’ in my dream before I was 8. I could remember asking my mum about China when I was 9 years old but she couldn’t tell me much about the country.  I had lots of dreams about my life in China but could not make any sense out of them. Soon I forgot all my childhood dreams and moved on.

However, after donkey years, I found that my path lead me to China. Till date, I really cannot explain how the adventure started. In less than 6 months in China, I could speak the language fluently. My colleagues who are foreigners in China could were stunned; people say the Chinese look alike, to me, they don’t resemble at all. I can identify and differentiate them very well, even their twins. I blend so well with them. The most interesting part of it all is that, though I was born and raised in Nigeria, I am only 4 years in China but I know China more than Nigeria, despite the fact that it’s about 10 times the size of Nigeria. I have been to more places in China than Nigeria. Interestingly, most of the places I have been too are very familiar, even at first visit. My present location is a small city in the south of China, on my first day here; I didn’t need anybody to show me round town. Though I can neither read nor write Chinese because I never studied the language but I can speak the language better than my mother tongue. Besides, I have met a lot of Chinese who are very familiar at first sight.

On my first day in China, Beijing to be precise, my employer lodged me in a hotel and my room was on the 35th floor. When I woke up next morning, I took a look outside from the window, interestingly, the site I saw reminded me of a dream I had when I was a child. Just 2 weeks ago, I dreamt about one of my students, the dream was obviously about our past lives together because I saw that were in a family setting and both of us were sisters doing things together.  So after one of my classes with her, I called her and said ‘hello sister’ jokingly. She replied ‘Yes, I have dreamt about you many times, and each time, you appear to be my sister in the dreams but not my teacher’ Then I asked if she believed in the dream, she said yes, that a fortune teller once told her mother ever before she got married that she would see of one her past kids but she is African and would be a teacher to her child. It was alike another dream so I asked if I could meet her mother. Immediately, she phoned her mum and in less then 2 hours, the woman came. She gave me a very warm hug and we were together all day, gisting, gisting and  gisting.
