For those of you bent on him calling it off, you better wake up and smell the coffee, because the rate of deterioration of our schooling system is repulsive and repugnant and unless there is a revamp in the system, your Bsc might just look like an O'level, internationally . And by the way, he's not asking for pay rise or whatever, but an implementation of a four-year agreement.

LiteratureThe Stupidity That Accompanies The Feeling Called Love by Dospix(op):
For between, i could see a long unrelenting expression in form of a labyrinth wrapped around her face;glowing rapidly like

the setting sun.For What i saw wasn't beauty neither was it prettiness at its peak, but instead, she possessed some thing i

call splendorpritism*(a word you shall never find in the dictionary);something very rear to find:her hair dark and glowing,

her skin chocolatic* in color but conspicuously creamy in outlook;she is 21 and so had the body suited for her age; but, her

'behind' and her 'in-front' looked like that of a woman in her ripe age...ohhh! What a Diana! She is in-fact the most well

designed creature i have ever seen. I peered through the window more ambitiously for the fifth time that day, hoping to

have a more uncensored view of the girl that had made sleeping a bad business for me. I would even in my sleep brood about

the distinctiveness of Diana's beauty:how her hair cascades down to her hips; how the rasping movement of her body would

infect any ambitious guy with cervical spondylosis even without steering too hard;how the sereneness of her voice and

expression would melt the heart and garagalistic* reaction of a Perfect existing Jim Iyke . After several adventurous

peering through the window, i would walk around my room, pounding my hands in-between my palm;swinging my hands up-down,

up-down...with a reflective soliloquy running through my mind, capping the escalativeness of my insaness. I felt i had

passed this stage; i felt i was invulnerable to this scam people call love; i felt i shouldn't love because i am compelled

to, but instead,i should love because i want to. But, things would change, yes! things did change after i was wrapped

between the between of Diana Osadebe.
The clasping sound of the keke-napep* i entered did lease me out to the ever busy street of Amechi in Enugu, i alighted to

the magnificency and structural blunder of the street...the opulence of its building, the crispness of its environment,

yet, devoid of thoughtfulness and architectural plan. As i walked, i kept in mind all Nnamdi had instructed me to do, i made

sure my actions and decisions does not in anyway falter his theory of 'how it should be done'. My movement was in line with

the plan: my shoulders highly raised, with my hands broadly sided i walked like a young man whose father owned the world

but was yet to clam ownership of it. I scanned every instruction i had been given to avoid playing the wrong script, then i

realized my trouser was not as it should be worn. I tucked my hands into my pocket stylishly, drew my trouser down till i

was sure my 'Tommy Hilfiger' was conspicuously auctioned to the glaring of all. I had almost gotten to the point where

Nnamdi told me i would find her, when to my surprise i lost it all. I was with absence of my gait and confidence even

without seeing Diana. The structure in which Diana was housed became a Sisyphean mountain that climbing was in no way an

option. I was unable to decipher the rational to my abrupt apprehensiveness even after one week of daily tutorial i

received from Nnamdi. I tried my possible best to be calm so as to beat the tensed way i felt, but the rasping string of

rhythmic echo that sang in my within signified that i was in no way with my right mind.TO avoid any possible peering from

onlookers, i removed my mobile phone from my pocket and glued it to my ear acting like someone who had just received an

urgent call. AS i stood in the open street in my pretensiveness, then came one from from the oval-like shaped white

building, her hair tucked in twist of rococo; her lips painted in red; she wore a red polo v-neck covered with a bolero

jacket and a well fitted blue pencil jeans that made soo obvious the content of her behind. As Diana walked towards my

direction, my heart-beat kept accelerating, i couldn't even stare at her direction talk more of looking into her eyes. I

stood still not even able to string out sentences to properly fake my call. As she briskly passed me, leaving my nostrils

with the sundry taste of her nourishing smell, i found no word the friend needed to get her attention. I kept standing at

my position with my phone pasted to my ears till she ambled with the things she bought from the kiosk just across the road.

I understood the need to resist temptation, but, the thumping movement of Diana's behind was to timely to resist...i was

fascinated by the way it swung, making me to wounder how a girl of this age could be soo endowed. I kept looking till she

varnished into the building. "chai! i don Bleep up, which kind mumuness* be this self?" these words sauntered in my mind.

Realizing that the plausibility of another perfect opportunity to make my move on her was not feasible, I thumped my fist

against my laps and shoved my hands around my head like one who is trying to minimize the effect of an internal pain.
Many ideas ran through my mind on what to do next. i thought of heading back home, but remembering how i had worked soo hard

for this day; the one week fasting i embarked upon, the strenuous work-out i went through and the poetic rehearsed words

Nnamdi made me memorize, it became glaring to me that their was no going back. Unable to come up with a better idea on how

i could get an opportunity to speak to Diana in the building where she was learning how to properly use the computer, i

decided to sit and wait for her at the kiosk where she had just bought some snacks a moment ago, hoping that she might

return back to get some other things. I pleaded to the owner of the shop to allow me spend some time with him while i wait

for my cousin, a request he immediately obliged me. I sat waiting to see Diana walk to my direction, but she never came. I

decided to wait till her learning period elapsed to make a move. 6pm exactly was the time, seven hours after i left my

house in search of the one in whose possession my heart was imprisoned. With her bag strapped to her hands, Diana exited

the building which had the inscription, 'over-comers computer center'. As she walked, her movement had the touch of a model,

like one who is well skilled in art of movement. I waited for two minutes before i followed her, making sure i maintained a

considerable distance from her. I kept stalking her as she walked back home, making sure that i maintained the salubrious

ambiance of the situation. I knew the time was ripe for me to make my move, but the weight i carried within me was too

heavy to be let out that easily. As i stalked, i kept ruminating and soliloquizing on how i would let out the words from my

vocal cavity without shooting the gun to my leg.Time left us behind, so did the moon leave without notifying me;

apparently, the shining light of the moon understood that i didn't need its service any longer, and decided to assign me to

the accompaniment of darkness. Realizing that the moment was right for the move, I paced forward towards Diana like a

hungry wild lion...'hello,hello,hello.'i cried out, but, My words of attention did seem like one that was directed to the

empty sky, because Diana's head was as stiff and un-moving like the statue of liberty.'Atleast she should have turned to

know who is calling,' an expectation that ran within me. 'Excuse me please' i said, as i raced towards Diana's side more

further.'What is it?' she quizzically inquired. the piquancy of her tone and question was something Nnamdi forgot to

include in my script...perhaps, i should have included that myself.' i just have something i truly want to tell you, all i

ask for is five minutes,'i pleaded like one who is short of his transport fair. 'five minutes right? you have it' she

hurriedly said without even letting me reply her question. Here swift attitude had a negative toll on my script; for i

never expected the evening to be as swift as it is. I wanted a day filled with castles built with the words of Shakespeare

and Roger Kipling; I wanted an atmosphere filled with languid expression and definite effulgence. But, things were

different:i gazed at Diana not knowing how to start or what to say, but i knew that i needed to say something to fill up

the empty space my dumbness created. 'I have seen beauty at its best, i have seen individuals with great exceptional-ism in

the art of charisma, i have seen people whose aesthetical component can be compared to none; but yours is atypically

distinctive. You are like neatly stars pitchly arranged to give hope to the downtrodden; you are like the ornament of

flower designed to define the realism of love to the world; you..." gbuza... 'IDIOT' A white flashing light splashed

through my face accompanied by strings of thunderbolt clipped to the both side of my cheek. 'Jesus!' I shouted as i woke up

from my slumber. 'Wetin happen Samuel, why you shout Jesus?' my elder brother inquired. 'hmmmmmm' i exhaled. 'evil spirit

slap me for dream...' When i heard someone open the gate downstairs, i peered through my window to know who it was...on

seeing that it was Amarachi, i smiled and continued my rehearsal.' You are like the bird whose tweeting sound re-echoes the

lost touch of music.'...to be continued

We have watched alot of musicians in Nigeria who started very simple and quite and ended up becoming the best in the industry. I present to you one of the most hard working musician i have come in contact with. A young man who is very passionate about what he does and truly believes in himself not minding the constant unconstructive criticism he receives. Henry Martins aka 2flex as he is fondly called is currently an undergraduate student of Nasarawa state University where he is currently studying English and Literary studies. 2flex, has three singles to his credit. His current single 'go down low' is evident of his painstaking effort towards ensuring he provides us with great music that would make us move our body until we go forget our sorrow. I decided to share this tutorial because of the over reliance some people display on this forum when in need of Android games. Don't despair because I have the solution to your problems. Firstly, go to Google play store, search for thepirate bay browser, download and install it on your device. After you have successfully installed the app to your device, head back to Google play store again, search for utorrent, download and install. After you have successfully installed this two apps, open your thepirate bay browser and search for any game of your church and download for free. Note: the piratebay browser contains different contents; such as, videos, pc games, software's, android games etc. In-order not to download the wrong file, include apk in your search or better still, narrow your search to just games by changing the settings at the top left corner of the browser. Be free from your dependency attitude and be your own oga*. Happy downloading... I am enjoying mtn seriously, but at the expense of my 200 naira daily.

PoliticsPresident Jonathan's Competency & El-rufai's Sour Grapes - By Reno Omokri by Dospix(op): 2:18pm On Sep 16, 2013
Having read Malam Nasir Elrufai's interview in the Saturday Sun of September 14, 2013, I am compelled to present facts to set the records straight in order that the general public is not misled by the machinations of a man who is in dire need of prayers and perhaps psychological assistance.

Nasir Elrufai said "Nothing can make Jonathan succeed. He is grossly incompetent, he doesn’t listen, he doesn’t even understand the issues. I am sorry! I know the man more than those that are shouting with Jonathan because when he was my friend, none of them even knew him. I knew Jonathan as a deputy governor in 2002. That was when I first met him and we have been relating. So, all these new found Jonathan lovers should just shut up. I know him and I know what he can do and what he cannot do. So, please, they should just leave me alone. Those that want jobs can go and take jobs. I don’t want".

Now, let me start by saying that Nasir Elrufai lied when he said this and there is documentary evidence to prove this. For instance, contrary to what he said in this interview, Nasir Elrufai at a meeting with Ambassador John Campbell in April of 2007 said that the then Vice Presidential nominee of the People's Democratic Party, PDP, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan "is clean and honest". Going further, Elrufai told the ambassador that "Governor Jonathan was the only candidate that met Obasanjo’s guidelines- honesty and Ijaw”. Unknownto Elrufai, the ambassador kept a record of their conversation which is now a public record in America.

Beyond that, Nasir Elrufai, who had gone into voluntary exile under the presidency of Malam Umaru Musa Yar'adua after he was accused of corruption and abuse of office while he was minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, felt safe enough to return to Nigeria as soon as President Jonathan ascended to power.

When Elrufai returned to Nigeria, in 2010, he visited the President at Aso Rock Presidential Villa on May 11, 2010, and was the first major political figure to call on President Jonathan to contest for the 2011 presidential election. Elrufaialso praised President Jonathan openly.

The Holy Bible says in James 1:8 "A double minded man is unstable in all his ways". I think this biblical verse best describes Nasir Elrufai. Elrufai in this his latest interview showers encomiums on Major General Muhammadu

Buhari saying "I think that where Nigeria is today, only someone like Buhari, with the experience of having run the country before, and having run it along certain principles of discipline, integrity and accountability, that Nigeria needs".

However, this is what the same Elrufai had to say aboutBuhari on October 6 2010 " Mallam El-Rufai wishes to remind General Buhari that he has remained perpetually unelectable because his record as military head of state, and afterwards, is a warning that many Nigerians have wisely heeded. His insensitivity to Nigeria’s diversity and his parochial focus are already well-known. In 1984, Buhariallowed 53 suitcases belonging to his ADC’s father to enter Nigeria unchecked at a time the country was exchanging old currency for new. Against all canons of legal decency, he used retroactive laws to execute three young men for drug-peddling after they were convicted by a military tribunal and not regular courts of law. Buhari was so high handed that he gave himself and his officials immunity even from truthful reporting. That obnoxious Decree 4, against which truth was no defence, was used to jail journalists and attempt to cow the media as a whole. That tyrannical legislation shows the essence of his intolerance. These are facts of recent history. The story of counter-trade and import licensing, the cornerstone of Buhari’s stone-age economic strategy and those whose interests it served, is a tale for another day."

Now, how does one man go from warning the nation aboutBuhari as a man unfit to govern Nigeria and one who is perpetually unelectable because of his parochial nature to saying that he is the man that can best lead this nation?

Is it not obvious to all that there is more than one personality in possession of the mind and soul of this man called NasirElrufai? Can any sane person trust the words of a man who is so unstable?

Today, Elrufai, perhaps banking on what he thinks is the short memory of

Nigerians is attempting to rewrite history. But it is such a difficult task to paint over the truth with a lie.

Nasir Elrufai wanted something from the President which was why he visited him at the Presidential Villa to heapunsolicited praise on the president in 2010. When he did not get what he wanted, he became bitter and since the days of yore when the fox that could not get the grapes tagged them 'sour grapes' to mask its frustration, it has always been the habit of persons who cannot compete on the basis of ideas to give a dog a bad name in order to hang it. Thus, Elrufai, having run out of ideas, has tagged this administration as 'incompetent'. But as they say in law, Res Ipsa Loquitor, (thefacts speaks for themselves).

In just this past month alone, we have seen a fulfilment of two major Jonathanian promises. The Akanu Ibiam Airport is now officially an International Airport as its facilities have been upgraded to meet ICAO standards and it received its first international commercial flight. Also, the rail services have been revived from Apapa Port to the North.

In these two instances, the Jonathan administration has put money back in the wallets of Nigerian citizens. Every time someone flies internationally from the Akanu Ibiam Airport, he saves sixty thousand Naira that would have been spent paying for connecting flights to Lagos, Port Harcourt or Abuja. And every time you receive a container by rail in Northern Nigeria from Apapa Port, you would have savedperhaps fifty thousand Naira that would have been spent on additional cost from hauling your container by road.

And this is just for last month. Time would not permit me to highlight the 153 Almajiri schools built in every state of the North to serve our children who are engaged in the almajirinciform of Qu'ranic education (a total of 400 are to be delivered), or the ongoing reconstruction (not repair) of the Lagos-Ibadan road for which 167 billion has already been reserved to prevent the project being an abandoned project, or the dredging of the River Niger up to Baro in Niger state to make that port accessible to ships, or the establishment of the Green Belt Zone along Nigeria's Northern borders to end desertification, or the signing of the HYPADEC bill into law to enable the people of the Hydro Electric producing areas benefit from their God given resources, or the current massive multi billion Naira efforts to save the Lake Chad from drying up. This is besides the fact that those states which did not have a federal university prior to President Jonathan's ascendancy now have at least one university, thanks to this administration's establishment of nine new universities.

I have identified these projects on purpose because they were meant to be priority projects of yore but were however left unattended until one man called Jonathan Goodluck entered the scene.

Why has it taken an "incompetent" President Jonathan to grow Nigeria's economy at over 6% per annum since he ascended to the presidency? Why has it taken an "incompetent" administration to get Nigeria to be promoted from a "Low Income Nation" to a "Middle Income Nation" by the World Bank? Again, it took an incompetent administration to ensure Nigeria won its first African Cup of Nations in 19 years. If previous administrations had been this 'incompetent', then Nigeria would have long since overtaken South Africa as Africa's largest economy, but we did not achieve this feat until an 'incompetent' Jonathan was brought to office by the votes of over 22 million Nigerians.

In this latest interview, Elrufai boasts that he is a "self-made man". Even this statement is a sad reflection of the irreligious state of Nasir Elrufai's mind. People who say they are "self made" should read The Book of Daniel and see what God did to Nebuchadnezzar after he made such a boast. Nobody is self made. Does it make mathematical sense to believe that the God who has numbered the hairs on your head has no input into the opportunities that came your way?

In a Wikileaks document, an identified American diplomat revealed that Elrufai was "personally known to him to be homeless" before he got into government. Now Elrufai has never sued the diplomat for libel or slander. But today, this man who was known by a U.S. diplomat to be homeless now boasts that " I was already a self-made man when I came into government". Since when did homelessness amount to being "self-made"?

And Elrufai further showed his disconnect with the realities around him when he boasted in his interview that "there is no one who sat at the table with us when we were making these decisions and advancing these arguments that have come out to say that what I wrote there [his book, The Accidental Public Servant] is not true". This statement is so easy to demolish. As at the last count, the following persons have come out very publicly on the front and back pages of newspapers to say that what Elrufai wrote is a lie; former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, former Economics and Financial Crimes Commission Chairman, Nuhu Ribadu, former Central Bank Governor, Chukwuma Soludo, former Imo State Governor, Ikedi Ohakim amongst others. In fact, NuhuRibadu was reported in the Punch of February the 19th 2013 to have said that "There is a huge integrity deficiency" inElrufai's book!

Does Elrufai have such a record for truth that we can say that his word outweighs the words of these gentlemen?

In any case, let me conclude by saying that Malam NasirElrufai has problems that may not be known to the generality of Nigerians and certainly by his current bed fellows in the All Progressive Congress. In his book, The Accidental Public Servant, Elrufai had terrible and nasty things to say about those whose backs he had already climbed on and reserved encomiums for those whose backs he needs to climb on. That alone speaks volumes of his character and should alert his current associates to the proverb that a slave who sees his fellow buried in shallow grave should know that he would receive the same treatment when his time comes.

Forester45: How do you expect me to avoid your thread when you are clearly being mislead. I cant keep quite and allow you to remain in ignorance. How can you explain the fact that students graduated from Nigerian university are being retrained by multinational companies like SHELL just because of poor infrastructure in our universities.
Try and visit universities in Malaysia, Ghana and see for yourself if what we have in Nigeria are qualified to be called a university.
Students are staying sixteen in one room in Nigerian universities.
Students go out of university environment looking for an institution to analyze their project/research work.
It may interest you to know that we still have empty libraries existing in our universities.
We still have pre-colonial equipments in our universities.
Are we talking about bad roads in our university, lack of water, light, and toilet facilities. Students of higher institutions are doing so called short-put. How many university in Nigeria has Electron Microscope?, and yet you are comfortable with all these abnormalities. It is very unfortunate. If students supports ASUU to address this issue ones and for all, is it bad?
Students should sacrifice and join the struggle lets get it right.
It is sad that students are always at the receiving end, but our government should be held accountable. They are not doing well. You are a witness. This is a simple logic, if the government cant fulfill all ASUU demands, let them work out modalities on how to address it in a gradual process. Government is deceiving the masses if u are not aware. FG/ASUU 2009 agreement should be implemented or they should present to ASUU a written document to show they will implement it within a stipulated period of time, even if it will take them 8yrs, that's all.
I must state very clearly to you that i am not being mislead by anyone. My view about the current ongoing strike are drawn from my critical study of the current situation. I must let you know that even if the government pumps 200 thrilion to rehabilitate the infrastructures in the various University in this country the problems we face can never be solved. I am of the opinion that the bedrock of corruption in Nigeria begins from the Nigerian Universities. What would you say about a young hard working Nigerian student who is deprived from his merited admission because his parent can not muster 200 thousand naira the vc of his preferred university is demanding for; what would you say about a lecturer who openly comes to the lecture room to declare to the students that if they don't pay 5000 thousand naira to him their chances of passing his course is very blur; what would you say about lecturers who sexually molest young innocent students, threatening them of 'carry over' if the reject their advancement; what do you have to say about lectures who sell five pieces of their photocopied lecture note at the rate of two hundred?...the list goes on and on and on. The Nigerian university body is very corrupt; a fact we cannot deny; however i do not dispute the fact that we still have individual with high standing moral integrity in our tertiary institution, but they happen to be very few. My point: If the structural building of our universities are built to the standard of the best in the world, and the body that governor it are not cleansed from their illness of greedy and corruption, your above enumerated issues would still persist. My opinions are mine and so shall it for eternity.

However, i am here to correct the erroneous lies been splashed by the ASUU president Dr. Nasir fagge that the students have encouraged them to remain resilient on their demands to avoid recurring strike situation in future(you would agree with me that even if the government gives ASUU one thrillion naira, they will still come up with more agitation in future that would eventually lead to more strike). One thing i am sure and confident about is the fact that the Nigerian students do not in any way support the selfish and arrogant exhibition of ASUU. To let the world know our stands on this issue we must unilaterally canvass our agitation by simply typing: 'NO TO ASUU STRIKE.' Or we can vent our frustration by commenting and liking other peoples comments. Note: this thread is only for those who feel ASUU aren't helping our career when they keep employing incessant strike to vent their agitation ...if you hold a different view from this, try by all possible means to avoid this thread.

Some students have died prematurely because of this ongoing strike; some have been swayed into involving in things that would only make their career prone to danger; some parent no longer have the financial capability to cater for the educational needs of their children because of the stretching duration of time they have spent in the university. You can stop this evil from recurring by joining your voice and comment to say, 'NO TO ASUU STRIKE.'

Foreign AffairsVladimir Putin's Letter To America On The Syria Crisis by Dospix(op): 8:28pm On Sep 12, 2013
By Vladimir Putin, Russian President, for The New York Times

Recent events surrounding Syria have prompted me to speak directly to the American people and their political leaders. It is important to do so at a time of insufficient communication between our societies.

Relations between us have passed through different stages. We stood against each other during the Cold War. But we were also allies once, and defeated the Nazis together. The universal international organisation - the United Nations - was then established to prevent such devastation from ever happening again.

The United Nations' founders understood that decisions affecting war and peace should happen only by consensus, and with America's consent the veto by Security Council permanent members was enshrined in the United Nations Charter. The profound wisdom of this has underpinned the stability of international relations for decades.

No one wants the United Nations to suffer the fate of the League of Nations, which collapsed because it lacked real leverage. This is possible if influential countries bypass the United Nations and take military action without Security Council authorisation.

The potential strike by the United States against Syria, despite strong opposition from many countries and major political and religious leaders, including the Pope, will result in more innocent victims and escalation, potentially spreading the conflict far beyond Syria's borders.

A strike would increase violence and unleash a new wave of terrorism. It could undermine multilateral efforts to resolve the Iranian nuclear problem and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and further destabilise the Middle East and North Africa. It could throw the entire system of international law and order out of balance.

Syria is not witnessing a battle for democracy, but an armed conflict between government and opposition in a multireligious country. There are few champions of democracy in Syria. But there are more than enough Qaeda fighters and extremists of all stripes battling the government.

The United States State Department has designated Al Nusra Front and the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, fighting with the opposition, as terrorist organisations. This internal conflict, fuelled by foreign weapons supplied to the opposition, is one of the bloodiest in the world.

Mercenaries from Arab countries fighting there, and hundreds of militants from Western countries and even Russia, are an issue of our deep concern. Might they not return to our countries with experience acquired in Syria? After all, after fighting in Libya, extremists moved on to Mali. This threatens us all.

From the outset, Russia has advocated peaceful dialogue enabling Syrians to develop a compromise plan for their own future. We are not protecting the Syrian government, but international law. We need to use the United Nations Security Council and believe that preserving law and order in today's complex and turbulent world is one of the few ways to keep international relations from sliding into chaos.

The law is still the law, and we must follow it whether we like it or not. Under current international law, force is permitted only in self-defence or by the decision of the Security Council. Anything else is unacceptable under the United Nations Charter and would constitute an act of aggression.

No one doubts that poison gas was used in Syria. But there is every reason to believe it was used not by the Syrian army, but by opposition forces, to provoke intervention by their powerful foreign patrons, who would be siding with the fundamentalists. Reports that militants are preparing another attack - this time against Israel - cannot be ignored.

It is alarming that military intervention in internal conflicts in foreign countries has become commonplace for the United States. Is it in America's long-term interest? I doubt it. Millions around the world increasingly see America not as a model of democracy but as relying solely on brute force, cobbling coalitions together under the slogan "you're either with us or against us".

But force has proved ineffective and pointless. Afghanistan is reeling, and no one can say what will happen after international forces withdraw. Libya is divided into tribes and clans. In Iraq the civil war continues, with dozens killed each day. In the United States, many draw an analogy between Iraq and Syria, and ask why their government would want to repeat recent mistakes.

No matter how targeted the strikes or how sophisticated the weapons, civilian casualties are inevitable, including the elderly and children, whom the strikes are meant to protect.

The world reacts by asking: if you cannot count on international law, then you must find other ways to ensure your security. Thus a growing number of countries seek to acquire weapons of mass destruction. This is logical: if you have the bomb, no one will touch you. We are left with talk of the need to strengthen non-proliferation, when in reality this is being eroded.

We must stop using the language of force and return to the path of civilised diplomatic and political settlement.

A new opportunity to avoid military action has emerged in the past few days. The United States, Russia and all members of the international community must take advantage of the Syrian government's willingness to place its chemical arsenal under international control for subsequent destruction.

Judging by the statements of President Obama, the United States sees this as an alternative to military action.

I welcome the president's interest in continuing the dialogue with Russia on Syria. We must work together to keep this hope alive, as we agreed to at the Group of 8 meeting in Lough Erne in Northern Ireland in June, and steer the discussion back toward negotiations.

If we can avoid force against Syria, this will improve the atmosphere in international affairs and strengthen mutual trust. It will be our shared success and open the door to cooperation on other critical issues.

My working and personal relationship with President Obama is marked by growing trust. I appreciate this. I carefully studied his address to the nation on Tuesday. And I would rather disagree with a case he made on American exceptionalism, stating that the United States' policy is "what makes America different. It's what makes us exceptional".

It is extremely dangerous to encourage people to see themselves as exceptional, whatever the motivation. There are big countries and small countries, rich and poor, those with long democratic traditions and those still finding their way to democracy. Their policies differ, too. We are all different, but when we ask for the Lord's blessings, we must not forget that God created us equal.

PoliticsQuestions We Should Ask ASUU by Dospix(op): 3:07pm On Sep 12, 2013
I am being compelled to write this because of the state of quagmire our government and ASUU have plonged our Educational sector;their by, neglecting the plight of the Nigerian students. For years now, our Educationally sector have become a 'childs play' as a result of the constant strike being embarked by the Nigerian Lecturers. What we are currently experiencing now is not something new, instead, it is a recur of what has already happened in time past. The current protracted strike action been embarked by the members of ASUU is said to be moves to ensure that the Federal government does not renege on the agreement it had with ASUU in 2009. But the question i ask is: if eventually the government implements in full the agreement they had with ASUU, will this in anyway result to the complete demise of the escalating corruption we experience in the Nigerian public university? Will this stop some of our lecturers from sexually harassing our female students? Will this lead to the complete extinct of sorting,Payment before admission, sale of handout and un-seriousness exhibited by some Lecturers? If the Federal Government eventually decides to implement in full the proposal of ASUU; would this mark the end of ASUU strike in Nigeria? If there will be another strike in future, what could possibly cajole the members of ASUU into embarking on another strike? The members of ASUU board did align their decision not to back down until the agreement with the federal government is fully implemented in line with the interest of the students(to avoid incessant strike in future), can they categorically assure the Nigerian students that they have put plans in place to ensure that the federal government does not deceive them like they have done in time past? ASUU on countless occassions have expressed their fustration over what they call negligence of the structural facilities in the Nigerian university; If the agreement is fully implemented, would this lead to a total uplift of the infrastructures in the various universities in Nigerian? I am asking these questions because it will really be unfair for the Nigerian students to stay very long at home and be given another strike knock out two month after the strike is called off. I must clearly state that both the Federal Government and ASUU are responsible for the state our universities currently finds herself; however, in-order for things to change, the both parties must work in unity to ensure that our universities regain its lost glory.

Hopefully, the support will start coming if thread gets to front page and government pay attention to this company.
Am appealing to the mod to move this thread to the front page. Alot of persons do not know we have something like this in Nigeria;however, it will really be of help to let people know that their is a plant in Nigeria where vehicles are manufactured in full capacity. The best we can do as Nigerians is to support this rear gesture by buying their vehicles.

masonkz: Impressive. More funding and support needed.
Surely with time the plant will stand out as the best in Nigeria if the Federal government will be willing to assist them with little fund to boost their production capacity.
