Forget story, I've caught him doing that times without number. He's so bias. Make a quick research you will see complaints, as long as you're not his favourite. He know what he's doing. The last time I caught him with uploaded proof he quickly pushed it to front page because of the proof and because I said I am forwarding it to Seun as it was so obvious that he did it deliberately. This is not the first time.

Politics / Atiku Returns To Nigeria, No Assurances Of Entering US Without Being Arrested by dotcomnamename: 9:17pm On Dec 01, 2018
Atiku Quickly Returns To Nigeria After Failing To Secure US Department of Justice Assurances Of Entering US Without Being Arrested.

A group, Initiative To Save Democracy has said that it has credible information that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2019 presidential election, Atiku Abubakar has returned to Nigeria after failing to secure assurances from the US Department of Justice that he will not be arrested if he sets his foot into the soil of the United State.

TheCable had reported exclusively that the Waziri Adamawa secured a US visa and had travelled to the United Kingdom from where he will fly into the United state where he had not been able to step foot for more than 13 years.

But the group in a statement signed by its president, Akinloye James said Atiku had on Thursday travelled to the United Kingdom after securing a United States Visa from where he hopes to travel to the United State.

“His mission in the United Kingdom is to get the British Government to help him secure the assurances of the United States Department of Justice that he will not be arrested upon setting foot in US soil. But the British government is reported to have informed Abubakar that the US Department of Justice has made it clear that it cannot guarantee he will not be arrested.”

Atiku has refused to travel to the United States since the case of money laundering allegation involving him and a US congressman, Williams Jefferson came to limelight.

His counterpart in the United State, Williams Jefferson has already served jail term and made to refund part of the money traced to him for money laundering, but Atiku has since been walking free even though he has been unable to set foot in the US.

Having failed to secure the assurances of the British government and fearing that he may be arrested by the International Police (InterPol), Atiku quickly returned to Nigeria to forestall any possible arrest.

Paul Ibe, Head of the Atiku Media Office who has been speaking on behalf of the PDP presidential candidate prior to appointing a spokesman for his campaign tweeted a while ago that Atiku has since returned to Abuja.

“HE @atiku embarked on a private visit to the United Kingdom on Thursday shortly after the inauguration of his Presidential Campaign Council. He has since returned back to Abuja,” I’ve said in the tweet.

His tweet counters report by TheCable that Atiku will spend sometime in the United Kingdom before traveling to the United State.

“Report that Atiku obtained US Visa and travelled to the UK may be true, but the part that he would be traveling to the US is completely false,” Mr James said.

So long as it is primary market, First Bank normally debit and put it into custody as soon you apply and the money is ready in your account I have not heard or experienced anything contrary for now. Maybe why they delayed before even deducting it on the 26 was because they couldn't not treat the day you applied.

I think that not minding the rate you wrote.. These days if your money is not upto 50m you cannot bid on your own. The rate you will get is what First Bank bidded and succeeded.

They will not claim anything it is either they have bidded for you at their own rate because it is primary market and your money is not upto 50M or they will return your money back to you. In this case since you stated earlier that you have seen the N808. 00 interest it means it has already been invested for you @ first bank bid rate.

Anyways you can only know the true position of things when you get your proof of investment..

Thanks and God bless.

Hello housemates

I need help with drinking socially. I am a business man and in my early 30ies. In my line of business we get to do a lot of social drinking.......everyday . Once a deal is struck, the next tin ,beer goes around. Sometimes it's even hard gin.....vodka and the likes.

We are a small group of 3, and am the youngest in the business and looking to learn and benefit from the other two .

The issue is that they drink a lot, almost everyday, I am healthy but my dad suffered diabetes before he passed, and I've been warned to be careful with alcohol. I've tried different ways to avoid drinking with them but it's not working, I even complained about a fake pain anytime I drank alcohol but I ended up looking like a weakling.

I don't want to be seen as a weakling....and truly when money is made there is this overwhelming desire to wash it down with a sip or two of alcohol. So I kinda understand them.

So my plan now is to get a brand of beer or gin that isn't too alcoholic ,But also not so obvious. Sometin healthy enough to be taken with the bois and still hang my head up high grin grin grin

Any ideas........

Drunkard...i see..No wonder .........mtcheww...

The N808.00 you got is the remaining balance not up to N1,000 for reinvestment after the whole calculations... You know? Because TB is done in 1,000's not hundreds (multiples of N1,000).

Thank you bro.

Check this.

Another acknowledgment received on 21/11/2018

I sent a reminder yesterday 28/11/2018 and i stated my bid 14.4500

Shortly after i sent a reminder, i discovered that the amount invested was debited on 26/11/2018, which means they debited my account on 26/11/2018 before i send a reminder yesterday on 28/11/2018. That means if their bid is successful and much more lesser than my stated bid they could play the game and claim that i informed them my bid late? Or is there a way they could trick and claim they actually bid sucessfully on 26/11/208 when auction is actually 28/11/2018 worst case today 29/11/2018? grin What do you think?

firstbank debited me since 26th of november...up till now,i haven't received the interest. who has experienceed this before and how long does it take for fb to credit the interest ??

Same here. Debited on 26th November. I received credit alert Interest of N808. 00 yesterday, isn't shocking shocked from millions? I did not request for upfront payment O, I only requested "reinvest interest" and I requested for %14.4500 shortly before I receive debit alert of N808. 00 same yesterday O. So where do they get N808. 00 interest on the invested millions? I don't just understand what's wrong with First Bank. Ordinary acknowledgment of the % they successfully bid for me in the primary market they didn't acknowledge undecided . I have sent an email to my relationship manager.

Depends on how much your financial empire is worth. If it's in thousands of euros or dollars, there are books you can read or podcast to listen to in order to sort your portfolio. If it's worth half a million of dollars or more, then it's no brainer. You need one especially if you live in the western world.
You can start with this podcast "Radical personal finance". Just Google it

Thank you. But what if it's in naira?

In this case, Tbills would have been far far better. You didn't think of the compounding of Tbills. That is a big mistake.

I will explain the truth about this real estate many people keep hyping.

Real estate is a risk in Nigeria, many of you just don't know it yet. Because you have been lucky with land doesn't mean others will be.

Let me tell you all a single fact, real estate normally should increase in value based on inflation, supply and demand. Guess what is affecting the price of real estate in Nigeria? Inflation is there, but it's definitely not demand. It's money laundering, especially in Lagos. Where do you think politicians and people with questionable jobs put their money in to avoid EFCC wahala? They buy this things up priced in dollars. Which sounds good and all, but a quick question, how many of you are itching to go and buy land now? How many Nigerians are? Salaries are the same, inflation and foreign exchange problems is killing people's buying power, unemployment is on the rise, yet land is becoming more expensive? Hahahahahahahahahahaha
Who will buy this lands you guys keep valuating? Where is the demand for it? You would think with Lagos over population people would be buying every land available anywhere.

Go and look at banks, and see how many lands they have and want to liquidate but there are no buyers. Ask Diamond bank, they have experience in this problem.

If the demand was high, why is there aggressive land marketing here and there? Why are the commission fees for selling it high?

Is real estate cool? Yes it is. You can get lucky with it, but let me drop another final bomb. You know why people think the Stock market is risky? It's because of instant gratification. Seeing the value of your stock asset drop in value, can be really problematic for emotional people and most of us are emotional, but here lies the problem many of you don't know the stock market mimics the normal market, the real estate market does too. So what you all see as safe in real estate is an Illusion. If lands were represented on a piece of paper and on a computer like stocks, I am sure many people would have died of heart attack. When you see the illiquidity and low demand with excess supply, enlightenment will surely come.

I believe you are correct. I will go for Treasury Bills 100% hands up.... grin
