CSTR1003:The bolded cast you as an hypocrite. Why didn't she sue him? You even used 'probably'. You guys are always funny. If Bianca was not Igbo, you wouldn't have made such excuse for her. Are you saying she was never fvcked before Ojukwu married her? This is a lady that had tales of infidelity hanging over her head even before her husband died. She was widely alleged of sleeping with Uju Robert Okonkwo (a former commissioner under Peter Obi). That is even worse than sleeping with FFK in her youth. |

kotv:You are not getting it. You even contradicted yourself in your first paragraph. The protest was not a Yoruba thing and it was not everyone that supported it. I agree with you that it had political undertone but tribalizing it is evil. ACN/APC was never strong in the SS/SE and APC influenced the protest in the SW. Nothing stops PDP/APGA from doing similar protest in the SS/SE. I don't want to argue June 12 with you especially if you are under 27 years. You can't understand. MKO lost in the SE and he was not too popular there. The North conspired against him and wanted to sweep the issue under the carpet. Since the North betrayed him and he wasn't popular in the SE, the fight was left mostly to the SW. Even at that, people like Shehu Sani, Agbakoba, Alfred Rewane stood by him. Anyone that makes MKO a regional politician is either ignorant or evil. Let Buhari rescind on the national holiday if he likes but even apart from politics, renaming first generation universities like UI, Unilag and UNN is not easy to do and will never be politically expedient for any politician. You will always have students and alumni to contend with. I was a staff and I'm an alumnus of the school I know what happened internally during that time. The alumni fought far more than the politicians. They went to meet GEJ a couple of times then. A lot of things happened in the background. Mind you, many of the excos of the alunmi association are not even Yoruba. Notable among them was Sunny Kuku. By the way, you have carefully ignored what could happen if UNN is renamed after GEJ or any other politician tomorrow. |
kotv:Let's see if they rename UNN tomorrow and people will not resist it. It is fallacious to say Yoruba people protested GEJ's subsidy removal. While I agree that the protest had political undertone from APC, nobody stopped PDP from sponsoring a protest when Buhari did same. Naming a university after MKO in the SW was a move meant to reduce the man to a regional politician. A national holiday is far better. That is my opinion. Note my emphasis on the bolded portion. |

He didn't have his children in America. It's a rare thing in this age. Most privileged Nigerians want their children to be US citizens. Even Akpororo, Seyi, Bovi dem get their pikin for obodo Amelika. ![]() |

Pavarottii:You watched too much of NTA during his time. I have been to all parts of SW and I can't name one. Even you can't name one hence you have to say he did many roads. Name just two of them or any other project. By the way I know we have both agreed that MKO lost in SE. At least I am 100% sure about that. If you have any contrary fact, present it. No one has ever accused Igbos of hating MKO because of that. It's not a must that we all face the same direction. |
Pavarottii:1. Abiola lost in the SE. SE voted for Tofa. 2. Yorubas were part of the those that fought for GEJ's mandate in 2010 except you want to diminish that. 3. Yorubas voted for GEJ in 2011 and if you say it is because there was not other strong party then God is not in you. 4. Name three things GEJ did in the SW because you claim he is the best ever. We don't see things the same way. 5. It is unfortunate that you interprete the preference of one for the hatred of another. I strongly believe you are not a democrat and you have hate for the Yorubas. I am more interested in number 4. |
The lady is fine but her haters here will keep shouting "she is ugly" even when the ladies in their families are not better. ![]() |
kotv: Pavarottii: chris31:Even from these statements, we know those who have hatred for others. Can't you people just be free-minded? This is politics and democracy. The preference for someone should not be seen as hatred for another. MKO lost in the East and our Igbo brothers voted for a Northerner in 1993 yet I have not seen anyone say that the Igbos hate Abiola. It is politics and it is democracy. We are not obliged to see things the same way. The same Yorubas that you claim hated GEJ were at the forefront fighting for his right against the Northern powers. They even voted for him in 2011 and also rigged in his favor. However, 4 years later they felt he had not done enough for their region.Even at that, in 2015, GEJ still had around 42% of SWern votes which shows many still wanted him. GEJ also made some bad decisions such as undermining OBJ in PDP and releasing Major Al Mustapha who many Yorubas feel was a villain in MKO's saga. On renaming Unilag after MKO, I will salute GEJ on that but it is extremely difficult to rename schools like Unilag, UNN and UI after anyone at this point. ABU was easier to rename after Ahmadu Bello because the school was still in its infancy when it was renamed. Many Yoruba graduates of OAU still do not like the idea of renaming the school after Awolowo although most like Awolowo himself. GEJ did not do proper consultations before he tried renaming the school. The students and alumni of the school did not like the idea. I don't think people will be silent if UNN is named after GEJ tomorrow. Making June 12 a national holiday is by far more dignifying in my opinion. Also the official recognition of Abiola as the winner is soothing. Our Eastern brothers should be more liberal in the way they see things and stop seeing things from the prism of hatred. |

I wonder who made that kind of clothing some people call "hijab" exclusive to Islam. Anybody can wear anything he/she likes. Why havn't they protested against the use of hijab by suicide bombers? If only MURIC knows how many Arab ladies with hijab sucking di<k on p0rnhub . If you doubt me just type "x.xx hijab" on google and entertain yourself. ![]() |

Tapout:You Ipob youths are pathetic. You hatefully bring out negativity out of issues due to your jealousy and low self esteem. The award was given to Mandela in 1990 after he returned from prison. He had not even been elected as President. He became president in 1994. When others start trolling you online, you start playing the victim. You don't give hate and expect love. |
RuthlessLeader:At least I am smarter than everyone in your lineage. My point was not about being alive or dead. I technically picked out Dino's words exactly. |

Yet a certain thug called Dino said MKO is no longer a Nigerian and can't be awarded GCFR. Was mandela a Nigerian? |

AkpaMgbor:Just by this comment. I can predict where you are from. It only take someone filled with hate to "easily" detect hate. The Yoruba people didn't reject the renaming of Unilag; the management, student and alumni did. Renaming a young university is always easier than naming a first generation university with a history and brand like Unilag. Just imagine Oxford University being renamed. Young as unilag is relative to Oxford, the school with four other first generation Nigerian univerisities are to Nigeria what Oxford and Cambridge are to the UK. GEJ made the wrong move. He should have done what Buhari did. If he only named June 12 a national holiday, people would still have appreciated it but I think he was scared of the North. You need to be more liberal in your thinking. You have hate in your blood. |
DabuIIIT:It is sad that many of you are making June 12 issue a Yoruba thing and making it a tribal issue. MKO was not elected a governor of Western region. He was voted the President of Nigeria. The annulment of the election represented a major "wrong" in the political history of Nigeria. Much as some people might want to argue that Buhari is taking this step for political reasons as elections are approaching, rational minded people will agree that this step is a right one in at least attempting to right a wrong of a past that can't be undone. It is a victory for democracy. It is a victory for justice. It is a victory for many young Nigerians who died for this cause between 1993-1995. The acknowledgment of June 12 by the FG cast a reproach on IBB, Abacha, David Mark, OBJ and so on. Yes the ignorant ones will cynically ask if this move will raise up MKO and make him president. It won't but it has set the records straight. It will make every Nigerian including the unborn children from every tribe know more about MKO, June 12 and the struggles. @topic, Naming Unilag after MKO is not enough. That confines MKO and makes his struggle a SW struggle. It was too little. Besides, renaming a first generation university after anyone will always backfire. The alumni of such schools might not like the idea as they will feel it will affect the brand of the school. Much as Awolowo was loved in the SW, many Yoruba graduates of OAU especially those who graduated before the school was renamed strongly hated the idea of the renaming although they love Awo. I am not too sure if the alumni and students of UNN would have loved their university to be renamed after Ojukwu or any other leader. Mind you I specifically mention UNN because it is a first generation university. The step by Buhari is just the right thing to do. |
CyynthiaKiss:Why can't UNN be named after Ojukwu or Kanu? You guys just like stoking up hatred around. If they give it to you, you will start playing the victim. |
Queenbalikees:It's your religion that is an object of ridicule everywhere in the world. You are known for violence and hypocrisy. It's only in your religion that people would rather take codeine than alcohol because your Arabian god of violence is so petty that he can't stand men taking ethanol. I am yet to see any non-Muslim who respect your religion. We all just smile with you politely so as not to provoke your violence. |
