I have come to realize that most of you guys in this politics sections were either born in the 90s or afterwards and that has seriously effected your knowledge of how Nigeria worked before you were born. Sometimes I wonder whether some of you actually mean what you claim about Tinupoos day at Alausa or you are just propagating some warped versions of a crooked tale.

There is no one that has been around before then that can innall truthfulness ascribe Lagos growth to Tinupoo. It's like ascribing the growth of Abuja or Kano to the minister of Abuja or to Kwankwaso. It's the height of ignorance. The only thing Tinupoo did in Lagos was to burden businesses with taxes an this ofcourse helped the political crooks at Alausa to amass and fiddle with lots of funds. Otherwise, he did nothing!

Most of the bridges you see in Lagos were built by Gowon and Babangida. Do your checks. Buba Marwa did more in terms of laying the foundation for most of the security plans and "strike forces" that helped guarantee peace in Lagos. Do your checks. Even Jakande was a better governor of Lagos than Tinupoo. We will keep reminding you guys that:
Lagos grew exponentially out of the solid federal government investments there over the years and not because of the "magic wand" thrown by one inebriated PooPoocrat!

Wike was a man once admired by many Igbos, they saw him as one of their own, they believed he was a tough talking guy who stood by the people. In a twinkle of an eye, Wike threw all that goodwill away for nothing. In 2020, violence trailed the ENDSARS movement after Soldiers opened fire on protesters at Lekki tolgate. Rivers state was just one of many states where Police stations were burnt, security forces killed and properties destroyed. While other Governors were trying to calm things down and bring peace, Wike, like most IPOB haters, decided to blame IPOB, with no evidence and no investigation.

Wike even accused Stanley Mgbere, a young activist from Onne, of being the IPOB leader in Rivers State and put 50 million Naira on his head. The accusation later turned out to be false. Wlke then went further to deny being Igbo, and invite the military into the Igbo town of Obigbo(renamed Oyigbo in 1976) where they massacred and abducted innocent residents

Having denied being Igbo and the Obigbo affair, made Wike toxic to most Igbos in the South East and South/South. This meant that any Presidential aspirant who was looking to get the Igbo vote, could not afford to pick Wike

So naturally, Atiku went for Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, a man who had never denied being Igbo, never went after IPOB unduly, and never invited the military to kill his people.

Expect to see Ifeanyi Okowa campaigning throughout the Igbo heartland soliciting their votes and reminding them he is one of them, something Wike can never do

All of them from the South South that joined some evil minded foreigners to antagonize the igbos over the last 8 years will slowly but surely come to the realization that without the former Eastern Nigeria as a strong political blok sticking together, they can only make it at the federal level by chance like Jonathan. Some of these guys think that they can burnish the laughable pro Nigeria credentials before the North and South West by always snarling at the South East. Very ungrateful bunch! These are a group of people who have gotten nothing but unalloyed support from the East.

The South East took the fight for resources control which has now benefitted the socalled South South region more than the South East, as her fight and stood hand in hand with them till it was achieved! But guess what happened immediately after "derivation" was achieved? Prominent politicians from the South South started to join the Afonja press to argue that The East is not part of the Niger Delta and as such, shouldn't be part of the Niger Delta commission even with her enermous Oil and gas deposits! Obasanjo in his Evil ways, nearly acceded to that.

The East took Jonathan as their own even when he occasionally treated the east with little or no respect, as was the case with the firing of Bath Nnaji from the Power Ministry, the quick firing of Okwesilieze Nwodo from The PDP chairmanship position and the quick removal of the Igbo lady, who once headed the immigration commission for daring to recruit igbos into the commission. Jonathan basically built no roads or power plants or industries in the east and was playing political football with the much vaunted second Niger bridge, Yet The East provided him with all the support he needed while in power.

What am I even talking about!? The very concept of The South South as a region was basically a product of one Alex Ekwueme during the Abacha constitutional conference. Lots of them in the so called South South that flagrantly follow Buhari and Afonja media narrativees, to parrot the warped independence of the South South from the former Eastern Nigeria are not aware of this. If the igbos wanted nothing like South South to be mentioned in Nigeria, they could have easily done that by seriously objecting to that during that conference in the 90s and that would have been it, since it was only the South East that supported the South South region goals in that Conference. The socalled South South traditional allies in the north and south west ran away..., as usual.

But for him to make Buhari president, something he has openly owned up many times to, and for Buhari to go ahead to kill many igbos over the last 7 years in totally avoidable circumstances, makes Tinupoo an accomplice. His hands are red with Igbo blood and he can't be made the president after what his brand of politics turned Nigeria into over the last 8 years! It's as simple as that. Make him president and we will give him hell! If you feel good making it look like Igbos hate your Lord and personal savior for fun, be my guest! In the end, you can not do anything to Eastern Nigeria more than you have done this past decade..
