ezenwajosh: As for me it's opened many years ago...we are patiently waiting for those thinking there is a way to finish playing their hands...the only down side is they will say you have started shouting because you didn't win election... Nobody care about betterment of Nigeria as long as his tribe's men are in charge...then give them few years after...they will start shouting and crying for competent leader then wait till they start preparing for election they all go back to tribe card...SAME ROOSTER COUP OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN...DIFFICULT TO BEAT THEM AND I CAN'T JOIN THEM EITHER. As far as I'm concerned, Peter Obis active participation in this presidential election will only help to legalize the dubious outcome that will be the result. They will surely rig the elections beyond belief. Elections materials will only be brought to pooling units in the East and other opposition strongholds by 5 pm! By that time, most voters have gone home disgruntled and frustrated. Corrupt INEC officials will then sit at the State capitals to announce useless results that will favor Atiku. That's how we always get the socalled "low voters turnouts" during elections in the East. Card readers will be faulty as folks labor under sweltering heat. They will frustrate you all. In my humble view, Participating so actively in a very crooked electioneering process only helps to validate the corrupt outcomes. Boycotting the elections would have sent a more resounding message across the world. |

Meanwhile these developers are really Confused people, they are all in LABOUR Party right now labouring hard to waste their vote, after which they will return back to Biafra and start shouting Zoo and formenting trouble with treacherous behaviors.
Kwankwanso says they are at the rock bottom of Nigeria politics. Buhari says they are dotian With the exception of Lagos, which is nothing but a federal government territory and WILL ALWAYS BE!!!, there are no other major Afonja cities that can boast of more Local SMEs than Aba. Even the part of Ogun State that's relatively productive is tied to the same Lagos! That those of us from the East come here everyday to lambast and lampoon Eastern governors and cities does not mean that we don't know how far behind your brown roof kingdoms are. Fly overs are built where they're needed and they're not the first sign of productive cities. When you mention Aba in Nigeria or Africa,, folks know what you are about discussing. That's not he same with Oshogbo and Ogbomosho. |

The problem with this kind of open ended wait and search for a running mate is that it increases the pressure on the main candidate, as all sectors of his support group within his party, angle and justle for The Vee Pee position, thereby putting him in greater confusion and quandary. In trying to satisfy everyone, he's bound to anger some...
It also increases the chances of greater rifts within the party, and this can easily lead to the party implosion if disaffected groups within the party start to feel that whosoever that gets the nod does not merit the position more than "their candidates". Most times, announcing a vee pee candidate very swiftly after the party convention, helps to stave off these kinds of scenerios. |

The bridges, the ports, the highways. Don't take my words for it. Ask around from truthful Yorubas! Gowon did more of his post war "reconstructions" in Lagos than in the East where the war actually happened... Christistruth00: France had individual television sets but no Terrestrial TV Stations broadcasting Programmes for the General Public
Awolowo’s Western Region had it in 1959
The French were still at the Cinema’s in 1959
It was in the 1960s before France started broadcasting Television Programmes for the Public Hello?!?! Are you drunk on Tinupoos pee or something!? Radio-PTT Vision (1935–1937) Edit Radio-PTT Vision began operations on 26 April 1935 as the first television station in France, using a 30-line mechanical television system based on the Nipkow disk. It was operated by the French PTT agency with a transmitter located atop the Eiffel Tower, and was on air three days a week from 11 am to 11:30 am and 8 pm to 8:30 pm and on Sundays from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. On 4 January 1937, the broadcasting hours were changed such that television programmes were aired from 5 pm until 10 pm on Wednesdays to Fridays, and from 4 pm to 8:30 pm or 9 pm on Saturdays to Tuesdays. Following successful trials of a "high-definition" 455-line electronic television system designed by Thomson-Houston which improved on the 405-line system originally designed by EMI-Marconi, Radio-PTT Vision renamed itself as Radiodiffusion nationale Télévision (RN Télévision) in July 1937. However, broadcasts using the Nipkow disk system continued alongside the new electronic system until 10 April 1938. In July 1938, a decree of the French PTT agency fixed the French terrestrial television standard as transmitting on 455 lines VHF (46 MHz, positive modulation, 25 frames per second), to be adopted throughout France within three years. The adoption of the electronic standard marked the end of mechanical television in France, and the advent of electronic television to obtain much better image quality. RN Télévision abruptly stopped broadcasts on 3 September 1939 following the entry of France into the Second World War.Link: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/TF1 |

Christistruth00: At Independence the Capital was less than 5% of today's lagos ,95% of which was in Awolowo’s Western Region
The dream that made lagos an Economic Powerhouse was awolowo's dream
awolowo was busy trying to Overtake Europe
It may seem hilarious in today’s Nigeria but that is the Truth
awolowo built Ikeja including its industrial estates From the Scratch out of a jungle where Elephants, leopards, and Gorillas were still roaming around, into the Capital of the western region
awolowo was building Modern Cattle Ranches all over the western region with Cattle Imported from Isreal in 1956 !!
Awolowos western region had Television’ before France !
awolowo had big dreams for his People, Singapore and Dubai were too small compared to what awolowo was aiming for With all humility , awolowo outperformed the British
The dream that turned lagos into an Economic Powerhouse was Awolowos dream

I'm not hating but it's important to say this; Nigerian governments should place much emphasis on investing in science related courses and programmes , rather than spending billions to build up structures for all these art and social science courses. We place much emphasis on the wrong things. Nigeria can only develop her productive abilities as a country with more engineers and scientists. Lawyers can only argue endlessly in Court! Nobody exports the products of their agreements to other countries to earn foreign exchange.
Nigeria can even earn more forex if this was say a medical school. We see thousands of Nigerian doctors being recruited by foreign countries to work in their hospitals. Bad as this is since we need them back home, they will ultimately send dollars home someday! How many Nigerian lawyers get recruited to go work in foreign courts? Apart from splashing saliva left and right in dingy Court room,, what is the grand benefits of these lawyers in present day Nigeria? Helping to make people who lost elections to be declias governors!? Government should prioritize her investments in education in favor is science courses! That's what countries like China and Korea did. |
