Congratulations to everyone with PPR. Just like I was told by those already in Canada when I got mine... Lemme quickly say it to you all as well. This country is boring o. Especially if you are coming to St. John's, Newfoundland. ![]() I know most people won't believe me. That's fine. All the best. |

It's transparent and open for all to see. In implore you to follow/click the link below to my YouTube space: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Cn4ySEdooI I hope you find it invaluable. |

As I said earlier, I'll be back to testify. Masters of Business Administration at Memorial University of Newfoundland (MUN) This was my first ever application for visa to any country. I have only been to Benin Republic. Please pardon the typos and/or grammatical errors in this, if any. I didn't bother proof reading let alone correcting as I am currently waaaay too glad for that ![]() The following are the documents attached to my application: 1. The usual required forms for adult students from Nigeria by IRCC 2. Passport, Digital photo and a four paged detailed LOE 3. Proof of funds were my certificates of investment in bonds and mutual funds at Stanbic IBTC Asset Management Limited. There were three of them all totaling N9.3million 4. A letter from my uncle who is a US citizen pledging to support my tuition/welfare in Canada with $7,000 USD and his employment offer letter. 5. My maternal uncle's Wells Fargo 6months salary/checking account statement, Pay stubs for the last 6months and accounts statement of a separate and recently opened savings account wherein the $7k were saved up solely for the of setting aside of said funds for support. 6. My uncle's American International passport and National Population Commission (NPC) "birth attestation" which was issued in 2002. It shows the name of his parents. Most importantly, the goal here is to prove that he's sibling with my mom as his surname is Oso. 7. A copy of my mom's birth certificate which was issued in on December 20, 1960 by Ishara local development council with authenticity support letter from Ikenne local government. Its originality couldn't have been doubted as it looks rusty and old. The birth certificate confirmed her surname at birth to be "Oso". 8. My mom's National ID card (the one issued during Obasanjo's era) which showed her maiden name to be Oso. Although, her surname is now Adesanya. Also on this card, my elder and only sister was detailed as her next of kin. We are just two from my parent. 9. Traditional, Federal and Church issued marriage certificate of my mom showing her pre marital names written and my dad's name were also fully detailed. 10. I was among the page boys during my uncle's wedding at Ikenne Local government registry back in August 2003 . Luckily for me, his wife was able to send me a scanned copy of the couple and bridal train pictures we took with the local government emblem behind us. We all really looked way younger then. Lol 11. My uncle and his family travelled back to Nigeria for the burial of his father (my grandpa) in 2019. There were a lot of pictures. including where he took with my wife, my daughter and I. My second and current last born hasn't been given birth too then. Some of the key pictures with my mom and dad inclusive were attached. 12. My uncle usually send US dollars to my account to help convert to naira. He did this severally way back in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020. I printed the entire listed years and filtered with him as sender of funds. Hence, my GTBank USD account statement was attached. All of these from point number 6 is to establish verifiable family and economic ties with my sponsor. 13. I'm a banker. I started my career with GTBank back in 2013 and moved to Stanbic IBTC in 2019. All I did was to attach my offer letters from the two banks and tell them that those were the source of my savings contribution to the funds in those investment certificates. I did not attach my normal Naira last 4 or 6 months account statement. 14. My daughter was born December 2016 and Son August 2020. I attached their respective NPC birth certificate. Also, I attached got a letter of identification from my Daughter's school showing her current class, age, address and confirming name and age of her two parents. 15. I also attached various training certificates from my former and current work places ranging from Credit, FX trading, International trade financing, Anti Money Laundering, Financial Statement Analysis, marketing, Business writing and speaking, etc. All carried the logo and training period from the two banks respectively. 16. I attached my marriage and birth certificate along side my NPC issued birth attestation. 17. I attached my wife's International passport, Her employment letter with Lagos state Government (as a teacher) and her promotion letters 18. I attached my sister, mother and father's NIMC slips, voter's cards and their driver's licenses 19. I attached proof of ownership of my car and my wife's car 20. I attached proof of my address in Nigeria and my Uncle's proof of address in America. Please note that I used my Tizeti internet biller information since it shows my name. It's not like I own the house i live in but my Uncle owns his. 21. My BSc certificate in Economics, 2;1 (Ajayi Crowther University, 2011) and transcript. 22. My NYSC call up letter and deployment letter alongside its certificates. 23. My PPA's (Stanbic IBTC Bank, Corporate & investment Banking) acceptance letter to NYSC and offer letter for my one year stay with them during service. My set was the last legally allowed to serve with private organizations. 2011 batch C24. I have a valid and general training IELTs band 7 score from December 2019, so I attached its certificate from British council 25. I submitted a Duolingo English Test certificate to MUN as proof of English. I didn't know quickly that i could have been exempted with an English tutoring confirmation from ACU. 26. My GMAT score certificate where I did very well. 27. First year tuition payment confirmation letter from MUN 28. My family and wedding pictures 29. My instruction letter to Stanbic IBTC Bank to debit my account for the first year amount through form A which the banks acknowledgement stamp and signature was impressed on. 30. Telex copy of FX funds transfer. These are the few docs I remember attaching. All the best to those expecting. may it end in rigorous praises! dotoracs: |
Work, Pray and Believe. It shall manifest! I said it here that I claim this week. And it came to past. No agent involved. It was God, friendly interactions from here and other social media platform and my humble wits. It's a PPR alert guys. I'd be back for its details. dotoracs:

By the special Grace of God, IRCC will positively answer me this week. Like many have done with faith, let me tap into favour; I hereby book my thanksgiving and testimony this new week. Below is a reminder mail I just sent to Nairobi and copying every other office that has ever worked on my my application through GCMS notes. I also copied their oga patapata, Hon. Mendocino. ![]()

How long did it take please? Jazi432: |
Hi Anyone here who sent Passport to Lagos office? Can you please tell us how long the turnaround time was. Many thanks! |
Congratulations. May Canada favour you. Did you submit NSE documents? ODUNESKI: |
AWAITING PPR April 8th | Upfront medicals: May 31 Resumption date: September 8th |
It is well. We are exactly in the same shoes. I've even paid for the first year of my MBA studies. Gloryyssssz: |
This people do not look like they will send feedback before my resumption. I pray it ends in praises. Amen! April 8 applicant. Eligibility hasn't even started and I am to resume September 8. God help me and all. |
Ehya... I am not a guru o. But i will suggest you upload that letter from your school to your visa office's webform and write a strong appeal in the body to assist you in making that deadline. May it end well. Amen Fisssssyyy: |
Sorry o! Besides, what I wrote has no negativity sir neither was i particularly referring to you. Read it again. Lol at opinion (like you kept yours to yourself). You seem very wise with your self as you clearly prefer to wait for a potential risk to crystalize before mitigating against it. Funny guy! Victoryokondu: |
Why do people go through the needless risk and additional expense (no matter how infinitesimal)? In the best likely case, Abuja would be a week faster than Lagos, and so? People that have been waiting for months can't endure a week? Forget insurance, what if fire, misplacement, damage or robbery happens to the documents while in transit to or fro Abuja... How do you want to explain your story? Besides, the longer your travel date is from your booking date, the cheaper the ticket would be. So why not chill and join your class online for few days if necessary, since you already have PPR? This is just my own humble view point and shared perspective. The advantage of passport being sent to Abuja does seem not to hold water, if you think about it well. If it was the IRCC/VFS that misplaced or damaged your travel document (not courier or any other third party), which is very rare, then you can be rest assured that they will make up for it by temporarily issuing you a travel letter that will allow you into Canada whilst they follow your acquisition of a re-issued Nigerian passport in Canada both by correspondence and financing. I can only hope I've made sense to one or two people. The race is definitely not for the swift. Victoryokondu: |
I book my PPR this week with faith by God's Grace. Amen! |
Congratulations. I plead this kind of Grace. maestro09: |
Congratulations. May Canada favour you. If I may ask please, was your eligibility review ever started on your profile during your wait period? ForevaTT: |
Two MPs (including Minister of Immigration, Marco Mendicino) have helped check the status of my application. One on June 12, the other August 18 and both of them confirmed that medicals/background check are passed, my legibility is in process and decision is yet to be made. However, my profile didn't say Eligibility has started. I submitted my application April 8 and requested for GCMS notes on July 5. Till now, I have not received the notes. The vendor assisting me with it was sent a mail after several follow-ups that it was ready last week Friday and it'd be sent shortly. Till today, no note still. My question is... What could be wrong with those ATIP people? It's just GCMS note for Christ sake!

Tell them what happened, how it happened and you are sorry about it. Also let them know you have resolved it. possessor1: |
They are yet to get across to my school and mu application is almost 5 months old. Elfavour: |
Hello guys... Does IRCC cross check all Acceptance Letter from respective DLIs on each study permit application? |
