You mean there's a looming trade war in Nigeria. Ok |
blackaxe78:Bro Innoson is not Chinese. |
sapientia:Oga Huawei don't need US market to stand. Besides Huawei and ZTE has been banned in US since beginning of 2018 |
tyup:Oga they said their rival OS will be compatible with all Android apps and believe me if they fail to do so they'd have a way of forcing their Chinese alternative apps down the throat of customers. Over 1billion users of Chinese version of Youku for YouTube, Baidu for Facebook, wechat for whatsapp are very comfortable with it and trust me they are not missing anything. |
blackaxe78:I would still be patronizing Chinese brands and have them customize whatever thing I need from gadgets to everyother technology with premium finish |
This is when the tribe of your parents are in your blood |
Ginarhinar:Thief scamming demom. The law will soon catch up with you |
Those hustlers can be so annoying. The most worrisome is when you are coming out from car wash and they invade you. The funny thing is that they refuse to completely wash your car when you make them the offer. |
Crimecity:The driver did no wrong. She got served with what she offered. Some people think they have a license to insult others that they consider lower in class or status. You don't deserve respect when your don't first show respect to people. |
Na wao how time flies. This guy was among the "fine boy" actors then with Ernest Asuzu. |
Deomovies:How much |
Nigeria and indeed Africa is living in the last century. We are too religious yet nothing to show for it, we pray in every situation at the cost of rational reasoning. Here we pray ; when our car stops, when cats and birds play/cry at night, when babies won't sleep, when leadership goes wrong, when people fall sick, when people need work, we are told to pay tithes and seeds to become rich but we don't have proof that China and Japan and everyother developed country does same. Other countries invest in academic and scientific research and enroll their kids in painstaking research driven institutions but here best investments are gigantic religious buildings and children are enrolled into seminaries, Bible schools, Islamyia and Arabic Schools. |
You don't have time for all this headache. Some criminals use voodoo to hypnotize their victims you won't even remember any of these things you mentioned so the best is to tell whoever you are dealing with to transact through the banks. I once had a funny experience with some Abokis at Allen Avenue I wanted to buy USD to augment my funds for travelling so I met them not knowing that they were criminal hustlers. I told them I can only transact with anyone who's willing to come inside the bank and we operate with our accounts. You deposit USD into my account or transfer from your account then I transfer naira equivalent to your account. All of them scattered, murmuring in exasperation. I eventually succeeded in getting one but he changed the rate of the dollar. Cash and cashless transactions have their merits and demerits but going cashless is always safer and more convenient when making or accepting payments, POS or transfer. |
Well well well... |
Slay baby |
Too many counterfeit and substandard products in Jumia. |
timesup234:Some really don't know that it takes wonderful leadership and very uncommon IQ levels for China to manipulate its way to become second world best economy and increasingly becoming USA's nightmare in terms of security and economic activities. USA has degenerated to campaigning and lobbying other countries against China. Thats how weakness starts. |
TheKingIsHere:US has already done its worst. Chinese market alone is enough to sustain Huawei let alone other countries. Aside that Apart from Apple and Samsung, everyother phone brand with world presence is made in China and remember they have surved through thick and thin but this is only a challenge for them to invest more in research and indigenisation of microchip and semiconductor manufacturing. Believe me they can do it well when you study the speed with which Huawei and ZTE rose to the world stage to displace powerful names like Siemens, Nokia, Ericsson and many other you will understand that they know their onions. |
If Android becomes more fragmented, Google thinks everybody loses According to a new report by the Financial Times, Google is trying to make the case to the Trump administration that it needs to be able to provide technology to Huawei in the name of US national security. According to one FT source, the central point of the argument is that Huawei would be forced to fork Android into a “hybrid” version that would be “more at risk of being hacked, not least by China.” Google, like all US companies, has been banned from having business dealings with Huawei. In the long term, that would mean that Google would not be able to provide any of its services on Huawei phones. In the short term, the company has secured a temporary license to continue to supply software updates to existing phones. Because Huawei phones are already banned in the US, understanding how Google is making that case that a forked version of Android being sold elsewhere in the world is a serious threat to US national security might seem like a bit of a jump. Although the Financial Times’ sources don’t explicitly lay out Google’s argument, it’s not difficult to imagine how it would go. Step one: Huawei forks Android, creating a version that no longer includes Google’s services. One of the most important features of those services is Google Play Protect, software that automatically scans for malware, viruses, and security threats. Another is that people who buy phones with Google Services generally stick to apps available in the Google Play Store, which are more rigorously checked for security than what you’ll find on other stores. Step two: those Huawei phones with a forked version of Android are sold globally. They are less secure and get hacked. Step three: somebody in the US unknowingly sends sensitive information to somebody who is using one of those hacked Huawei phones. No matter how secure end-to-end encryption is, if there’s malware directly on a phone there’s a risk it could see information sent to it. And many people don’t check to see what phones they’re sending information to. Step four: US national security it compromised. Whether or not Google can convincingly make that argument could mean the difference between a fast resolution to this ongoing dispute or something much more complicated. Huawei is by some measures the number one or number two top seller of phones worldwide, and if it suddenly rushed into creating its own OS, things would get messy very quickly. Huawei has said that it could roll out a custom operating system “very quickly,” though whether it would be based on the version of Android (sans Google services) it currently uses in China or on something else is not very clear — just like everything else in this complicated situation. Even if you discount Google’s reported argument about security, there’s no question that it and other US companies stand to lose a significant amount of money if they can no longer do business with a company as large as Huawei. Just as it’s difficult to separate the Trump administration’s security concerns from its trade war, it’s equally difficult to separate Google’s reported security motivations from the potential effect on its bottom line. https://www.theverge.com/2019/6/7/18656163/google-huawei-android-security-ban-claims |

Check the husband's body, I bet you would see teeth marks/scars |
Thank God they didn't kill you but don't rest until the monsters are brought to justice. |
Theaimischips:I will when it falls to 100naira. Just keep me posted |
sisisioge:Sounds good and vengeful enough but doesn't work with wicked people. A woman I know did very similar thing, she sold 2 ploys of land that her cheating and abusive husband had wanted to use to set up a factory and ran away with her only child. The man swore not to rest. He went diabolical. He was frequenting somewhere in Kogi State all of a sudden the woman was brought back to Nigeria a few months later battling a strange illness that left her in a vegetable state. Every where her family people went they were told to go and make peace with the man first. Wicked world isn't it? |
