American investors leaving China means the American business man can't operate that business elsewhere when his infrastructure and trade network are still in China because the Chinese government will take advantage of the situation and sponsor the same business and even counterfeiting the same products so that their people will not go jobless thereby making it impossible for the American business in another country to remain in business.

The trade volume they will lose in the US is what they have recouped 6 times from their belt and road. It's not just US buying Chinese products, it's them blocking the exposure of their sales.

This is something the likes of Japan has been praying for.
If USA hanyweight stores like Amazon, Ebay and others blacklist Chinese products China will be on her knees.
Many buyers from those stores are not even in America.

Imagine Google banning Chinese apps in play store, Unity stores, Windows store etc.

I don't even know how this una Huawei will manage to sale their new products that cannot work with most social media apps.

Also note that 10 - 15% total export is massive. Not even to talk of American investors in China withdrawing from their market.
Chinese government should swallow their pride and face the fact.

Blocking Chinese apps in Google play store and the likes will only give rise to the popularity of an alternative app or site. It will further strengthen sites like aliexpress.com madeinchina.com alibaba.com and so many others. Majority of alibaba active guests and users are not American and the the site is doing wonderfully well. I bet you that the Chinese must have anticipated this trade war but it came too soon nonetheless they won't crumble especially with their belt and road initiative.

They were banned in the US since early 2018 get it didn't stop their continuous growth. China alone has the about 800million ACTIVE daily netizens accounting for the world's highest so having 200million out of this is more than enough to sustain Huawei’s existence not to talk of other Asian countries besides they said their OS will be compatible with all existing Android apps.
Even if they fail to run popular apps like whatsapp, Twitter, Facebook and YouTube they'd find a way to force their Chinese alternatives down the throat of their customers especially Africans and you'd see it work. All they have to do is make them available in English and make the advert rates cheaper. Already youku (Chinese YouTube) has more than 1.2 billion active monthly users despite running only in China, Taiwan and Hong Kong, we chat doubles as Facebook and whatsapp and has about the same number of active users. Infact presently wechat doesn't just sign up anybody that has a mobile number. They are forming premium. It means you have to meet certain conditions before you get signed up. Such conditions include having an existing user who hasn't been previously banned referring you by scanning a QR code from the new users phone. And such existing user must have signed up for their electronicpay services. No time for nonsense.

Huawei is a top notch phone maker
Huawei is a Chinese company and they already have hundreds of millions of Chinese to use to test their OS because Google apps are not working in China so Huawei already have advantage of numbers plus government support. Most phone brands are Chinese companies and they are already jointly testing Huawei’s OS. They can easily succeed with their home country taking advantage of the numbers then forcing whatever they come up with down the throats of the massive population of Africa that they are already enslaving economically. Isn't that a good success story for Huawei.

As much as I love the never say die spirit if Huawei the sad reality is that they can't survive this for long. Google and America has them by the balls. The question is who are those who buys their phones besides their market in China,. The other continents would not go near their products except probably Africa. Because America has so bossed over the mobile application and software market that it would be crazy for anybody from Europe, Australia, the 2 Americas and most part of Asia to use phones without Facebook, WhatsApp, Google and many other application compatibility.

And to further aggravate this, America controls the media, they'd make everyone not using those applications look like they are missing everything on earth. And the advantage chinese mobiles have had over the years is providing great technology for cheap price, cheapness isn't an incentive for people living in the continents I mentioned earlier except Africa due to poverty. People in Europe, Australia, the Americas and parts of Asia would rather buy an expensive phone that gives them access to the best there is online than buy a cheap phone that offers very little in comparison. Only Africans don't have a choice and even at that those of us who can afford it would still go for the Android phones. That's why Huawei are trying to consolidate the African market but it's a pity Africa can't save them. They need the rest of the world.

This is what I think would happen, because Google would also suffer since they would lose 5 of their biggest 6 OS users. They would try to raise up another country to take over from China in mobile phone production and my guess is India, because of the population, poverty, and the great education they have in India this makes India ripe for such venture. Nigeria might have been a great option too but sadly we're not serious and once they succeed in making great Android phones with cheap prices. Then forget about Oak OS, it would die out
