One should expect power supply in Nigeria during rainy season. Naija still depend heavily on Kainji dam. When the dam's water level is appreciably high, there will be an improved power generation and distribution. |
Obviously ur in laws run ur marriage. |
The CP was quick to add that nobody died. If what the eye witness said is anything to go by, then we should thank God that the lady (gang leader) told her members not to kill anyone. ************************************ Meanwhile, what if it was terrorist attack, that's how people would have been killed. Where were the tanks and squadrons that later came to the scene. They were drafted all the way from Abeokuta I guess, maybe that's why it took them 1 hr. Rubbish! Police has failed. All they know is extort motorcyclists and people whose vehicle particulars are not renewed. |
While armed robbers in Naija are watching Hollywood, Naija police still dey watch Nollywood. Mr Arase, I hope they will be caught. That's the second time in lagos. |
People will just be acting in total stupidity. Obviously those SUVs were snatched for the robbery. And they had to burn innocent people's car? Where were they when the robbers were shooting to escape? I wish a colonel's car was part of the other cars, many people will rot in the guard room. |
boombay:Lol. Gobe!!! We are not even interested in jailing them. Let them return what they stole. And let the money be spent on what all Nigerians can see. So that all the idiots saying Daura President on Nairaland can forever keep quiet or deactivate their accounts. |
Before the fall of oil price, we were selling at $100 per barrel. The govt of that time should be made to account for the money and how they spent it. Don't make excuses for them because u r from the same area. Corruption will never be fought if ordinary citizens defend political thieves because of ethnic affiliation. Everyone of them should be probed either Yoruba, Igbo or Hausa. I'm not interested in sending anyone to jail. But they should refund most of what they stole and their names should be published so that thier lineage will never serve in the govt again ever! |
donholy28:Lol. Guy u r so funny! |
Nice one! |
Girls spitting sh*t all in the name of joke. If I know any of my dude trying to marry her sorry ass, I'd just show them her tweet. |
Lol. So pple working like jackals in uk too are not fasting? She no like her work ni. if customers come to collect their clothes, I hope u will be able to explain to them that ur employee is fasting. Btw, what if the second guy too was fasting, it means u r in trouble. If u like her so much, get someone to stand in for her throughout this period of fast. But make she doesn't come around to lounge in the name of fast. Abi have u seen a teller in GTB for example saying she cannot pay people their money because she's fasting? I wonder ooo! If we have the same attitude towards work like our oyinbos, Nigeria would have changed for better tay tay. |
Is it true that Wike also went with govt properties as a chief of staff? |
I won't be surprised if it was one of the TAN fake propaganda. It's probably dead with TAN. |
Ishilove:Lol. Bingo ran away before the show started. |
BackDatAssUp:Seun and the rest of the Admin. Surely when I joined NL 7 yrs ago, it wasn't this bad. I don't think the ban button works for u anymore perhaps. |
Did Atiku become the president? Why are they trekking for him? Atheletic beggars! |
Op, nice one. Very educative. |
Waooooo! |
Na wah o! Basket mouth has a lot to thank God for o. |
U see why they can never produce anything good? How can corrupt people claim they are in the NASS to represent Nigerians? Worse still, After being a governor for 8 yrs, they still go ahead to the NASS. Na only dem get brain to rep the people? I spit on their corrupt grave! Tufiakwa!!! |
Looks to me like a pay back time. The guy did it on purpose. If not, why did he order so much at a dinner? I guess he's been waiting for this time to pay the girl back. The girl sensed this and also took his pic immediately she saw him ordering a huge dish. She has so much info about the guy that she shared so they are more than friends. She just left out whatever must happened btw them before now. The guy was smart in his own way sha but the girl had a last laugh. |
Let there be a clinical trial prof before we globally accept your discovery sir. |
When it comes to World Cup, Naija does well at the virgin state(U17). But from that moment upward, they lack technicality and mechanisms of football and hence they decline. I give this set of boys another 5 years, u will never hear their names again except for a few who have indv talents. Where are the Yemi Tella boys today? By the time they get to the super eagles state, u won't find anyone of them in the team. It is sad! Messi and Mikel played in this same tournament and Mikel out shine Messi. Today? Messi has won balon d'or 4 times, Mikel is not even a ist choice in his club. In Europe, their football develop because they know the rudiments and technicality but in Africa we depend only on raw talents and shallow technical skills. Manu Garba played a tall side and yet he still instructed the boys to play long balls, isn't that shallowness? |
Are these Germans U20? Even our boys are scared to play them. They are just tearing us apart. Na today we go know whether ManU Garba sabi. |
I've read most of the comments. Very on point. However, this is Nigeria. If they wanted to give 3rd class grad an equal opportunity, they would have said bsc grad should apply 3rd class inclusive. For a Nigerian bank to specifically seek for 3rd class grads, u should know that it will never carry the same benefits as other graduate jobs will carry. As against what most people said, a manager cannot single handedly request for the services of some grads without consulting his board of executives. He's just an employee himself. Banks are out there to make money. In Nigeria, no bank will request for 3rd class and not make seem like they are doing favour for them. But at the same time, Anybody belonging to that class will have something to do. |
So we should bring UK certs to work in a bank even if we studied life sciences. Are things that bad? Why would anyone go and do masters in UK just to come back and work in a commercial bank??. These people should be sanctioned. |
Oga I hear u. Looking at the way u became SP, u don't have integrity. Your party will not trust u anymore, so u may not be invited to sensitive meetings thereafter. You will feel dejected and eventually u will have no choice but to return to your beloved PDP. No permanent enemies in politics.., abi no be so dem dey talk am? ![]() |
but will he perform well as a senate president? Will he cooperate with the executive to make this nation move forward? Or he's just gonna be another David Mark who will use govt money to build a university for himself and pass 46 bills on the last day of their tenure?? Time will tell. |
I like this man. He doesnt waste time. He knows he might be removed anytime so he took his calculator along. At least he can calculate how much billions he can make in a short while. Meanwhile that table is so unorganized. We expect something better from a senate president of the federal republic of Nigeria. |
Nice one op. For me it's a mixed feeling. If it is true that Saraki does not ans yes boss to Tinubu, then we can say its a victory over god fatherism. However, the process by which Saraki became the SP does not speak well for APC. If you could team up with ur enemy to destroy your house, then you have no integrity. And as against your prediction. Saraki will not be able to lobby Nigerians to vote for him incase he tries to run for presidency. Nigerians don't forget events. It will be used against him. Infact I see him defecting back to his beloved PDP. Lastly, like I always maintain. If we will have a good NASS that will move this nation forward. They should not be produced by political parties. They should be nominated from their geopolitical zones having had fantastic records of leadership in their respective societies. And lastly they should be paid stipends. Sitting and transport allowances, after all, they must have their businesses going for them. That's when we will identify those who truly want to serve. |
These people will fall sick the day they don't benefit from the govt again. Isn't it funny how someone will be a gov for 8 yrs and still proceed to the NASS. Na only u get brain for the whole of ur state wey fit rep the people?? Meanwhile they know how to spend govt money. Kcee had to come perform becos u were inaugurated into the house?? U will soon see some idiots quoting me and supporting them. The Slave mentality can never stop running in the bloodline of such people. I have never heard that Ed sheeran went to perform for a member of paliamnet in the UK nor have I heard that Kanye west performed for a US senator in his house becos he won elections. One day, we will be sane in this country and these kind of people will never come near governance again. Kcee, make ur money jor. U go sha chop jare. Arrant nonsense. |
1. The NASS should be dissolved. 2. Members should onwards be nominated across the all the geopolitical zones of the nation. And not be elected through political parties. It is obvious that they are not representing the people but themselves. 3. Members should be thoroughly screened by strict criteria before they are endorsed. 4. Only sitting allowances and transport fares should be paid to them as they are going to be serving the nation. 5. They must be respectable people in the society with good records. Thats when there will be a meaningful progress |
