Double27: The miracles plenty for my side. Then in the university (2nd yr) one of my results was published in another dept. I met the lecturer and he asked me to write to him via my HOD and that I shd check the result in my dept after 2 wks. After 2 wks I checked, and I was told me the result is alread in my file (not there actually). 2 days after our project defence in final yr, a list of problem students was pasted and my name was there. When I met my exam officer, he told me that one of my results is missing and the implication is no graduation The following morning by 3am i said Rosary(my mum taught me that) and asked Our Lady to take control. When i got my dept at abt 9am, i found out that my name have been cancelled in the list. I met the exam officer and he said they just sent to him my result that was missing and I smiled and said MAMA YOU TOO MUCH.
I promised our lady that i will marry my Rosary throughout the month of May, my intention was a good job. By 30th of may, I got a job.
This october, am doing a novena prayer to the Immaculate heart of mary with a promise to marry my rosary as usual for my 2 intentions. Will She do it? YES SHE WILL. Just say the rosary faithfully and watch wonders happen in your life. Am a witness. My requests have been granted. Thank you Our Lady, You too much. |

Christianity Etc › Re: On The Most Blessed Virgin Mary- Teachings Of The Early Church Fathers- by Double27: 12:47pm On Aug 29, 2013 |
Syncan: (1Tim 2:5) “There is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Jesus Christ.”
The Catholic Church actually do acknowledge Christ to be our one and absolutely unique mediator who alone can reconcile us to the Father in a strict sense. Thus Christ qualification as our mediator is exhibited in two ways: 1) By his very existence on earth- In taking flesh, Christ united God and Man in His person, for He alone is both God and man. 2) By his ministry, suffering and eventual death on the cross, He paid the debt owed by man and conferred grace on sinful man. In this regards, Christ is our sole mediator.
However, if we take a look at the first verse of that chapter, it says:
(1Tim 2:1) "I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men".
Here St. Paul calls us to intercession, yet we know that Christ continues to intercede, since (Heb 7:24-25) says: "But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood.Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them". St Paul knows this eternal Intercessory role of Christ, yet he exhorts the faithful to "Intercessions for all men" without fear of contradiction, it therefore means that we can participate in these aspect of Christ's ministry according to the level of "bonding" between us and Jesus without anyone feeling that recognition is taking away from Christ. It is like Jesus saying in (Matt 23:8 ) "But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master(teacher), even Christ; and all ye are brethren". Yet we see (James 3:1) telling us there are authentically, many masters(teachers) in the church. In deed,(Eph 4:11) says:"And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers". St. Paul calls himself same thing, even in that same chapter of 1Tim 2 in verse 7. The Issue here is to understand that members of the body of Christ(The Church) who participate in teaching and mediating/interceding do not take away from Christ as One Teacher and Mediator, for they are in a sense Christ, and serve to establish His offices of Teacher and mediator in Him.That's why the blessed Virgin Mary,St. Paul,Ubenedictus, Italo, Maria-Gorreti,damerry,Cameroonpride,et al could teach and Intercede/mediate for me, "...for it is Christ who lives (teaches/mediates) in them..." (Gal 2:20). Tx for making me smile, God bless you. |

biafranqueen: Here is a direct quote from a Senator from the North
The last few weeks have been weeks of reflection for north Nigeria. A region where the leaders – from the parents, to the traditional/religious leadership and up to the governors, and presidents, have failed in absolute proportions. The governor of Kano, Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso put it out straight and unglazed. ‘Our problem, the insecurity is the failure of us as parents, the society at large and the leadership.’
Of the children, he said, “they grow up to hate themselves, hate their parents, hate the leaders, and hate the government and the society. They feel they were deprived, they feel injustice and they become enemies of the state and constituted authorities; and thereby becoming vulnerable to crime and violence.”
He further explained that typical northern parents have 20-30 children and keep two or three they like, while sending off the remaining dozens out into the almajiri world to never know love. http://saharareporters.com/article/nigeria-almajiri-and-nuclear-alms-race So whats the solution? kill the children? |

Just remember that whatever you write here will always influence some people in one way or the other, think before commenting. Do not allow sentiment or use grammer to support what is wrong. ABORTION is a SIN. It against humanity and divinity. You don't need to be a catholic to know this fact. Give that child the same opportunity you had to live, Take the child to the motherless babies home or convent if you cannot take good care of her. The truma of keeping the pregnancy is nothing compared to the weeping of the baby if aborted. Obey God rather than obey man. |
