The number of threads that are opened to discredit Rochas is quite alarming. First they say he is developing only Owerri... Now ogoni militant is saying he was told that he is developing Orlu for njaba state? Last time I checked there is nothing like Njaba state... Or does ORO now have the explicit power to cave a state for himself? Some people think we re illiterate tho. What nonesense won't you hear. ORO has the right to develop Orlu, afterrall its the second largest town in IMO. If Ohakim was sensible enough he would have developed Okigwe town but we know how backward that place is. As fir Vanbonteel shit... You should be killing Ohakim for not developing your end of Arondiizuogu (too much juju is preventing the progress of that town) I rest my case for now. |
EasternLeopard: They are talking of community group development you are talking of govtThat guy is an illiterate. He dosent know the difference. |
chimerase2: bro u lied add dos 3 with owerri zone cus u re nw comparing with zone den with ngor opkala den u knw wat I meantOwerri will never vote an mbaise person for gov. They have their own candidates... Ihedioha represented Ngor Okpala for 12years with nothing to show. Why will they want to vote him again. Mbaise people will need to wait for me to produce the governor. |
chimerase2: yea 3 but mighty and populated, can decide de outcome of imo state electionLmao. Guy try and be serious Jare. The 3 mbaise local govts voted massively for Ohakim yet he still lost the election. Orlu has 12 local govts... Thats the zone to beat. |
chimerase2: We will reject APC for good in imo stateMbaise nation with just three local govts? You kid me right? |
ElFenomeno1: Douglas, get lost!Eyaah. You are still a mummy's boy. #Sissy |
ElFenomeno1: I asked you a question, i didnt make a decision..... MoroooooonHahaha. You are trying to start what u can't finish man. I am too gbaski for this childish play. |
ElFenomeno1: Are you indirectly trying to tell the OP to travel to Owerri for shawarma?!Thts for her to decide. Not you. |
Enjoy ur stay. Naija is fun if you know the right people and places. Guess u are in Lagos. Ps. You can get the best sharwama in Owerri. Or make it yourself too. |
Enjoy ur stay. Naija is fun if you know the right people and places. Guess u are in Lagos. |
Onyegecha: Ahia oma na-ere onwe ya. Ahia ojoo nwe tufiakwa. Imo people massively rejected Ohakim and voted for Rochas. Actually we voted for change because we hardly knew Rochas. By his scorecard he will definitely be judged, not minding how many online wars you are able to wage for him.And how do u intend to do that Ms Harry Poter? with your magic wand? |
koboko69: Bros u nor get car? Eyah...sorry!No mind am. See as them sandwich am between two people inside keke wey dey go Control. NA wetin person wey no like better thing dey see. |
noblezone: Bia OP,What are u talking about brother? ORO had done well and needs improvements and encouragement. Not unwanton criticism and bile just becasue he is in the APC...what has the pdp done for IMO state abeg? Where are their projects and if they did well why did we vote them out? The pdp has produced people like Ohakim, Authur Nzeribe and even Ochendo Global and you know what that means. So why should we go back to our vomit? Its just crazy. |
I have noticed for awhile now the proliferation of Anti-Rochas posts and comments and its beginning to sound monotonous and bland. The same old lines and lies are peddled by both Aliens and Imolites who for one reason or the other or those who feel disenfranchised and left out... We know your pain and feel your sadness because its no longer bizness as usual anymore but it HAS TO STOP! There is a whole lot of good things happening in IMO but you never get to hear them. *The Nigerian Bar association Conference is holding in Owerri and the eFfect on the local. Economy is awesome... From Hotels, Airlines flying into Owerri and PH Airports, to Lounges and Hangouts, souvenirs vendors etc are all having a good week. Many more important activities to follow after this conference. *Shell Nigeria is concluding plans to invest and Build a $3.5billion Dollar Gas plant tin ASA north in Egbema. One of the Largest gas reserves in the world. When completed in 2018 will provide gas to power stations and industries in and around IMO and Niger delta area, massive employment opportunities for imolites and Nigerians and also improve the economy of the state. *Egbema Generation Company Limited owns the Egbema Power Plant which is situated near Owerri in Imo state of Nigeria and has a design capacity of 381 MW (at ISO). The plant is nearing commisioning and has already been privatised by the Federal Government. *Shoprite shopping mall currently building a mall in Owerri. *Owerri has got the best Sharwama in Nigeria*hehe* ChannelO at Ikenegbu is the bestest and its just ₦450. *Chakus Chicken is killing. Try it anytime. *Mimi's Bbq fish is succulent.. Its ₦4000 tho. Owerri is the best place in the South east... A lot is happening in IMO. You can either choose to flow with waves or not.

vanbonattel: For the four hours I spent at the front of Icc this evening while coming back from my maternal parents house. You have just exposed yourself. For all your bile and nasty things u always get to say against Rochas... u don't even have a car to move around... You are cramped between two passengers in a keke just To save ₦100 for 10mb, which u use to post nonesense on the internet. Get a job brother!!! Your frustrations will simmer. Get a life too. |
meforyou1: yes, okorocha owes it a duty to the corpers to be there during the opening and closing ceremonies of the camp. When I served, the governor came for both and for the POP.I have never seen anybody as senseless as you before... Them use Rochas swear for you biko? Shay your never do well papa no see where Governorship ticket go collect contest? What's with you and the obsession? Rochas this and that? Are u this jobless? Wonders shall never end sha. Didn't know how jobless some folks can be. I camped in Benue... The Gov. Never came for both opening and closing... Heavens didn't fall. Nobody complained. I Redeployed to Enugu, Chime did not bother to attend. NOBOdy Complained. Try and. Get a life abeg. Rochas doesn't know you or your forebears. |
meforyou1: anybody but okorocha and Ohakim. Prefer emerald ihedioha or kema chikwe.lmao. naa now i sabi say u no no anything? what are the achievements of Kema chikwe and Ihedioha in politics? Abi Kema wey no even fit win Senatorial election wan become Governor? abi na only Mbaise people go vote Ihedioha? try reason am nahh. |
The number of useless post springing up on nairaland is alarming. The number of Rubbish replies are even more pathethic. How can u sensibly compare Rochas who is in his 3rd year in Office and Oshiomole who is completing his 2nd term? |
[sub][/sub] Onyegecha: Akpu, akuilu, mango, orange, uke, oji, palm oil, coal reserves, cashew, rubber, livestock etc, etc etc. In fact the question is what do we not have? All these stuff u re mentioning are all agro allied raw materials... I meant raw materials like... Limestone Steel Ores Bauxite Etc IMO does not have Coal in commercial quantities. |
Chino has got to be the most Jobless dimwit ever! |
Onyegecha: Yes, Imo must have factories. Imo must be industrialized because we urgently need to engage our highly sophisticated youths before they all get into sophisticated crime. We have raw materials and every other factor of production in abundance. What we lack is a sane crop of leaders who will harness our resources and turn them into wealth not for their own private pockets but for the people.List the raw materials, the industries and the market that you have in IMO? Ngwanu!!! |
danot1030: u sounds as Rochas is the one responsible for whatever u are referring to as wrong in Imo state, u should have ask urself the honest questions like looking at what is on ground in Imo state presently, is it anything improvement compare to what it use to be with the previous administration, is Imo a better place to be now than when the previous government was on, are the peoples life better imparted than the previous government? These are the type of questions that should be considered then from there we begin to point other areas we expect the government to pay attention. We should not also forget that a government has his vision set that he wants to accomplish, it may not necessarily comply with ur expectation, he can't do everything at one term but we should acknowledge the one he is set to do. The way u and some people sound is like Okorocha is d worst governor in Nigeria and I was surprised not to find his name among the worst governor in one thread opened recently to air opinion on the worst governors. In that thread T-Odour Orji carry d day, while some governors like Ebonyi and other governors are mentioned, that these governors are not criticised the way u people criticises Rochas shows that u just disgruntled and prejudice cos he does not belong to the party of ur affiliation.Ogbeni re-read my posts before commenting. I have never condemned the job ORO is doing in Imom I am just recommending areas of improvement . That's all. |
APContherun: Gawd I can't believe you wrote this. Must you be ridiculous to defend Rochas? I don't even know where to start to pen a reply.Bros abeg!!! Tell this forum about the number of Industries and Factories that is in Las Vegas, What about California? What about Dubai? Do you know of Macau? Until u answer those questions and see reasons... Then will I know what to tell you. |
Ndiara!!! Can they even produce painkillers, talk more of producing a vaccine! nonesence |
APContherun: To the extent that govt does not build industries and factories but provides enabling environment you are right. The question we need to ask however is how has Okorocha created such an environment needed to make private investment thrive in Imo State. How many private investment has he attracted to Imo in the last three years? How does he expect Imo youth to work when no private investor is setting up shop in Imo? Can the govt realistically employ the thousands of graduates Imo produces every year?Stop contradicting urself. Most IMO state have Factories and Industries? How many factories and Industries does Dubai, Las Vegas, Hawaii, Calabar etc all have? Who would want to set up an industry when u neither have raw materials or the available markets for your products? You need to look at what IMO has got going for them then develop that potential instead of just thing about factories and businesses... IMO is a Hospitality hotspot and we should be looking at developing along that line... We can never be as Industrialized as Rivers, Abia(aba) and ENUGU. What we need are Grandeur Resorts, Cineplex, Deveelopment of Oguta lake into a world class resort, Museums, Art Galleries, Cafes, Galleries and other cultural edifices. That is the area we should key into to attract investments and boast our economies. |
slimfit1: This does not count as development please so let us try to avoid unnecessary pleasants. Build factories andindustriesOtondo!!! Govt does not build industries and factories... Private individuals do that. Govt just creates the enabling environment for businesses to thrive. PS: how many factories are in Dubai or Las Vegas? |
ChinonsoDike: Meanwhile:Where in IMO? Can u please tell this forum? |
ibedun: Keep deceiving yourself. The simple question was what do the Igbos produce?Ogbeni stop showing your ignorance and allowing people see the illiteracy embedded into your DNA. How you asked who the Labourers in the entire south east are? Who are those that sell Herball medicine on the streets of owerri? And who are those that claim to show people. How to make easy money? |
ibedun: What about those who cant stay in their territory? Whos land cannot provide for them and are unwanted refugees forming Nigerian more than other tribes. The Igbos do not produce anything abi.... But they are busy buying up your lands They are busy feeding your people and paying taxes to your govt. They are building industries and conglomerates. They are gurus in their fields and captains of industries. They are not PARASITIES and they don't wait for handouts from govt before developing their societies. They single handedly fought you lots including your foreign masters. Guy try get sense small. And stop disgracing your people. |
overhypedsteve: nobody asked you if you were a mech engineer or even an astronaut. I don't know where you learnt your own mechanic engineering but i can assure you that the mechanic engineers working in this assembly plants (innoson, kantanka, leyland,Pan,proforce and even Modant marine) this are men that know their stuff. This are not men that come on nairaland and start shouting, "africa cannot build engine block" this are men that see the challenge and take it. Those uniden boys that built a full car and took it to Canada for test i know your type may want to say. "no they didn't build it, they only manufactured it" believe me my man. Africa is rising from the ash. Many countries making airplane, fighter jets have being relying on some other countries that re well advanced in the craft for either engine or electricity. We ve seen Boeing engines in Russian planes, German engines in American trains and European avionics in Chinese planes. Yea people collaborate to developed their country. But when an African industry add a American nut, to his engine, we ll start seeing badbelle people shouting " they assembled it, they cant create nuts, they used American nuts,"Abeg Bros read and be enlightened... For this Ghanianas who dont know the difference between Manufacturing and ASSEMBLYING read this; Kantanka Automobile Company Limited, producers of Kantanka vehicles has announced producing in commercial quantities for the Ghanaian market in fourth quarter of 2014 after the successful installation of its[b] assembling plants at Gomoa Mpota in the Central Region. The facility expected to be commissioned during the said time will have about one hundred and fifty vehicles made up of pick-ups and sports utility vehicles (SUVs) unveiled to the general public. “After years of hard work researching to make this dream come true, we can confidently announce to you today that we are ready to produce in commercial quantities,” CEO of Kantanka Automobile Company Limited, Apostle Dr. Kwadwo Safo declared. According to him, test runs of the facility have also been successfully completely, paving the way for the grand launch of the facility to the general public. The plant, comparable to any automobile assembling facility in the world, assembles imported vehicle parts from China and other parts of the world, including locally manufactured ones. It has the capacity to produce eight vehicles a day and could further be expanded to produce twelve or more depending on market demand. The government is expected to buy majority of the vehicles produced by the company as the demand to resource state institutions keeps growing. The purchase would further indicate the government’s commitment to promoting locally manufactured products. Phase two of the project which entails the rolling out of saloon cars is projected to take place by end of 2015, according to the Operations Manager, Kojo Kudzordzi, who conducted journalists round the facility. Apostle Dr. Safo, commenting further said the facility represents the intelligence of the Blackman. “So manyeople think that the Blackman is not intelligent to manufacture things but that is not true. We can also make it if only we persevere,” he noted. He appealed to the general public to support him as he seeks to make the country the hub of automobile in the West African sub region. “Help me to manufacture and our country will be a better place to live,” he added. President of the Institution of Engineering and Technology, Rev. Ing. Eric Ankrah, commenting on the plant said the institution was in support of the facility and would help transform it by accrediting it as a Center of Excellence for Competence Based Approach to assist in training the youth for the job market. “This is the policy of the government,” he noted. http://www.myjoyonline.com/business/2014/june-12th/kantanka-vehicles-ready-for-the-market.php |
