What pains me most is that the consequences of all their missapropriation affect only the poor while their own children travel abroad to attend havard and oxford.after their spoilt bratt finish school they come back to naija and oppress us with our resources

Ok, I'm going to Enugu State and Anambra State. I spent a yuletide once here in Abuja and it was nothing to write home about. I'm not about to have such an experience again for now. I might also show up @ Lag. P. City (PH) is my love, so I'll definitely be there either before, after Xmas or both.

I don't see myself spending another helluva boring Xmas in Abuja. At least, not with my current disposition. As a 'Certified Village Boi', I'm heading to my village straight!!!

Talking about Philosophy, even at Cameroun it's taught in secondary schools. I guess Nigeria is really underestimating and overlooking the powers Philosophy have to free and open up the mind, making it more receptive for more enlightenment and lots of development. May be that's why we're so fixated on religious fanaticism here.

On Law as a second degree course, that should be one of the best means of reviving the nobility of the profession as riff-raffs and god-fatherism are now hijacking and sullying it. I believe no one who is in a hurry to get rich (overly ambitious) would want to go back to school to study Law after his/her first degree. More so, it's better than the other option from some camps (making the Law School programme run for two years), which is a mere waste of time.

Finally, I was amazed when one who claimed to be in Law School at the present (a Law graduate) told me that he had never heard about this move to make Law a second degree course in Nigeria. That shows how much our Law students and even practioners are aware of what goes on in the profession. Duh!!!

Ok, I couldn't get much about it on the net, but I've heard prolly much about it in the form of word of mouth. I also heard that the University of Abuja is not admitting this year's JAMB candidates into Law (yet to confirm that, though).
