Really I am tired of celebrity news in this country!!! Make a tread about celebration and all of us including me will rush to read it and it makes front page!!! ( well I blame joblessness at some point) What substance do I gain from it other than see the luxury life of the rich, in a country where there's so much poverty and depression? Will it put food in my tummy, will it make me get a job? Will it solve the environmental degradation occurring daily, that has an impact on our health but because we have greater problems, we do not even pay attention to that! Will it cure this malady that has infested our beloved country? When are we going to be able to sit and effectively proffer solutions to the problems we face? I atteneded the third best university as at 2013 as released by the NUC; I stood to receive lectures, at some point. As science students we ought to engage in a lot of practical, laboratory and research work!!! But either we didn't have equipments or reagents were unavailable... Truth be told, that can't hinder me, but whether we like it or not, when the foundation is shaky, the building cannot stand. That I can see through the situation, doesn't mean a whole lot of other people can! E go better, when? We've been shortchanged, not necessarily by any political party, but all our leaders who have had the opportunity to make things happen, to make things better, but decided to turn a blind eye...

Someone may call me a hater, but that's far from it, how many of us are truly happy with the state we are in? I'll stop writing and say no more, I think I have derailed the thread enough. Congratulations ma.

Games help a lot with cognition... keeping our brains fit and smart. So that when you're using those other apps for studies, you pick things fast. lol, oboy you wicked o!!! The fact is that I will welcome pdp to take over Edo State, so that what is happening in the federal level i.e exposing of kwaraption will also happen in the state level so that we see the degree of viciousness the APC politicians have as well.

Also knowing that the pdp have a very dented image to redeem, I think it's only logical that they will really want to work in order to win the hearts of the people again. If these could go on and on in the states and federal level, there will be total cleansing. If pdp wins, they will also want to expose corruption in the APC and then another set of people will enter prison. We dey watch!!!

I don't blame anyone really, man must chop but one advice I'd rather do something that gives me satisfaction. Pharmacy and Medicine are great life science courses, there is job security and the pay is reasonable, plus the fact that you can work in any part of the world, just a couple of exams and you are good to go.

Please I need mature advice if possible from professionals and career persons.

Since late last year, I have been pursuing this job stuff from Shell which someone close to me who works there referred me to.
It is a contract job which will last for about 4 years. It was supposed to start late last year but due to the delay in change of govt, it couldn't.

Last month, I got another new job. The pay is a little below 100k and there is career progression and assured promotions in this new job.

Now my referrer in the Shell job has told me get ready to start on the contract job by next month. This one pays above 200k but its just for 4 years period.
So am confused and don't know what to do right now.
Am thinking that this Shell job might connect me to a permanent and bigger position if I go for it.

Just make sure you sign all necessary documents that will ensure the contract will last for four years and there won't be any issue with payment before you resign from your current job. God guide you.
