PoliticsRe: Why I Speak Big Grammar - Hon. Patrick Obahiagbon by doyin13(m): 12:05am On Mar 08, 2010
Lol. . .the funniest thing I have ever seen pertaining to Bombast in the Assembly also
came from an Edo man that is not called Obahiagbon.I saw it a few years ago, but
could never quite recall his name.
It was on the popular ''Focus Nigeria'' as well.

But then, a few days ago, when they were debating the crisis in the
Edo house of Assembly, lo and behold, a familiar face and voice came
back to me. . . . .  . .His name apparently is Honourable Buraimoh.

He appeared on Aruleba's show to discuss some crisis in the PDP
at the time. The last panelist to make a contribution, it soon became
clear he had been itching for a bit. The episode went thus:

Gbenga: Honourable, what do you make of the crisis in your party.

Buraimoh: The crisis in the party is nothing more than a loquacious sycohantic
enterprise, a didactic deprecation of the political will of a segment of the party,
a parasitic adventure intent on decaying the preponderant goodwill of our organisation. . .

Gbenga: Honourable, please can you tone down the english a bit. .

Buraimoh: (pause). . . . this is the cultivation of a political carrion, the marzipan
on the machination of a cannibalistic core determined to excoriate the success of our
organisation. An attempt to approbate and reprobate, a subterfuge of colossal proportions,
a dance of the politically macabre, a subteranean deception. (pause)
IT MUST NOT BE ALLOWED TO HAPPEN.

Gbenga and rest of panel I think Hausa sat silent before Gbenga regained his composure,

Funniest thing I ever saw   grin grin grin grin

Beaf:
I am very happy to have known Patrick Obahiagbon personally. He is a wonderful person and the only genuine peoples representative among the politicians out there.
K***pat, keep up the good work!

Most people making negative posts here need to follow Nigerian politics more closely. Lets not forget that he was the very first PDP man to shout out about the political miasma surrounding the Yar'Adua palavar.
Patrick Obahiagbon is one politician that always speaks up for the common man, he deserves praise.
Abeg help me tell them oo. . . .

He has always spoken with conviction everytime
I have heard him.

Dr Kitaun:
HNIC

r u sure of dat ? Zizou won more individuals award than Maradona, he has outshone anyone in dis generation, Maradona belonged to an earlier generation.
Na wa. . . Am I the only one that was underwhelmed by much of Zidane's skills.

Ever since I saw him flop at the '96 Euro's in England, I thought he was
inconsistent with occasional flashes admittedly in the big matches.

And surely anyone who saw Ronaldo Fenomeno of Brazil must recognise
say man pass man.

Ronaldo's far greater athleticism is the tiebreaker. He was extraordinary.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only (In Arsenal We Trust) by doyin13(m): 11:54pm On Mar 06, 2010
A few seasons ago when i argued here Diaby and Eboue are Arsenal's most
gifted players, people thought me barmy.

I was never convinced about Sagna going forward. He has limited skills, his
crosses not on point and he can't take on a man. Eboue has been a victim
of his own talent and folly. Talent has pushed Wenger to play him all over the
pitch and folly has made him Deputy diving minister which hasn't endeared him
to many Arsenal fans.

But he is better than Sagna period, any season.  Sagna is very limited offensively
and his defence isn't that much better than Eboue's to warrant being higher in
the pecking order.

Walcott might be a secret nairaland member. I have been shouting from the hilltops
that he must start going inside. And lo and behold, he does and shows he has a decent
left foot. I wiIl wait a few more matches and see if he stays with it. If he does, then he
might become almost unstoppable.
