Sports › Re: NFL 11-12 Season Is Here: Where Are All The NFL Fans? by doyin13(m): 12:47am On Oct 29, 2008
I wouldn't disregard the Colts just yet. . . .

I watched the first three quarters of last night's game, and they were able
to get their running game back in gear and Manning had a lot of time to throw
the ball. And this was against a respected Titan D-line.
All signs the offensive line is getting back to the form of previous seasons.

As for the titans, this was my first time seeing them this season, and I have to say
I am not sold on them. Kerry Collins as a quaterback is a safe pair of hands, but their
reluctance to open up the playbook and throw the deep ball will have defences playing
really close up to the line of scrimmage as the Colts did last night. Their running game did not
really impress me that much either for the time I watched them. and someone tell lendale white
to hit the gym jor.

@Bawomolo

On Jake Delhomme. . .well he is not extraordinary but I still think his name should
be considered in the top echelon of current NFL quarterbacks. I look around and frankly
I can't think of many better.

And remember he led this team to the Super Bowl without the services of Steve Smith for
much of the season due to disciplinary problems. And puhleasse, I can understand Steve Smith
but Mushin kini. Make the guy go siddon for errr. . . .MUSHIN cheesy cheesy grin

The Chargers really dropped a clanger with the employment of Norv Turner.
For someone regarded as a bit of an offensive wiz he has masterminded
the gradual decline in LT's numbers. And the defence seems to be devoid
of any heart. . . .Shawn Merriman or no Shawn Merriman.

Marvin Johnson. . . .Black men can't coach  cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy tongue tongue

In the packed NFC East. . .I am backing the Redskins to come out on top.
Don't ask me why oo. . .Its just a hunch, so it will prolly go to the Eagles.

My sleeper pick for the NFC . . . .the Panthers. Good defence, underrated quaterback
and not too much hoopla

As for the Patriots. . .If they make the playoffs, it will be very very very annoying  cheesy cheesy tongue

this is good news.

do with such money.

Now. . .I hate to dabble in generalisations, so this advice na for my future wife.

If she satisfies this requirement, then it is guaranteed that we will celebrate our silver abi na golden abi na crystal jubilee.
anyway, whatever.

Number 1- - - - -Don't try to remove those books from the toilet. My 'Eureka' moments often come in this room of self communion.
Spiritual fulfillment is often a wind that that comes to me during this solitary times and nothing is more annoying than trousers down
and no literature in the vicinity.

Number 2- - - - Don't open the door willy nilly, especially when in London. Many girls don put me for gbese opening the door for
bailiffs and TV License people.

Number three- - - -please please and please, do not ask me ''Was that it'' after the doo doo. If anything such an enquiry will only
adversely affect future performance

Number 4- - - - - this one is the most obvious. Accept that the remote control is my domain. Just no touch am.

Number 5- - - - - Mehn. . . . .As a consumate Yoruba man, put plenty pepper abeg. There can never be too much pepper.

I think that jus about wraps it up

Good on you Jesoul. . . .Considering Cassel was sacked so often, it is reasonable to be worried.
I wouldn't be too ecstatic about the running game either, the Denver defense is so vulnerable to the run it
beggars reason. Just run to the left, run to the left and run to the left. Two times on fourth and 1, they never looked
like stopping Sammy Morris.

I never was a believer in the one man makes a team mantra, but jeez, the absence of Brady is forcing me to rethink.

dear baby jinx
readin through ur post brings up an imagery of a woman who has no inititiative of her own and in the absence of her man would be useless to herself and even the children.

i believe that the modern Marriage as an institution is a partnership where the woman submits not out of lack of strength but of her own free will and choice and where the man is the head but not a dictator.

in business terms, the man is the chairman/ceo: doing high level stuff but the woman is the COO(chief operating officer) who is responsible for how money is spent, children, inlaws basic daily decisons that guys donot want to get involved in,

But this is where I have difficulties accommodating religious folks

The idea of religion and a supernatural being I thought implied
standing above the fray, the mundane and the profane of 'worldly life'.

But where justifications are sought from the American legal system to defend
the dictats of this Supernatural beings, I begin to wonder which is more superior,
the legal systems of these mere mortals or the supernatural pronouncements of
the sacred.
