Good morning everyone!

Please I need your advise, I have paid my initial deposit and it has been acknowledge (September intake) I got a questionnaire that if I have been denied Visa in UK OR other countries
YES or NO

I have been denied Visa in US, Germany and France. My fear is, if I agree and they because of that reject me or I said No, and they find out I lied.

I'm just confused, some guys said I should not agree that, UK can not access or find out if I was rejected in those countries.

Others said I should say yes and explained the reasons.

Someone in the school WhatsApp said his friend in Boston University said YES, and he lost his admission.

Pls help me, I need your advise

*** After i collected, i opened the nylon and checked my passport, lo and behold i didnt see anything. I cried from TLS VI to my house. I already told my siblings and husband that i didnt get the visa. On getting home, my husband was trying to console me and then i checked again, A se vignette was sitting pretty on page 21....omo, i rolled on the floor for God.

Thank you to this ogbonge nairaland platform for instigating the boldness of I CAN DO IT mentality on us . I did the process alone ..
Last year , paid deposit for RGU for September 22 intake, couldn't get CAS and so I asked for refund and I got it .. in that same spirit I applied to other schools and got admission to 2 schools , UWS and UnI of SALFORD for may and June intake.. had to go for uni Salford ( international student friendly 100 percent). Their took just 3 days to get after pof and TB test submission.

Please help me with this, my POF money dropped on 3rd February, I printed out from 4th February to 3 March (28 days). The account is a new account for the POF, I started doing transactions with accout from 20th february. But the agent that wants to apply for visa said the statement is not good, that I should have made transactions with the account right from when it was opened. My question, does it mean if I apply for visa, I will be rejected?? Does one need to do much transactions on that account?

Does ihs vary across schools?

Using ihs calculator, I got £940 for an 18months course. However, someone has just told me that I will pay $1500 which is obviously more than £940.

Is the ihs calculator not reliable or what? This is a little bit urgent as I'm hoping that my CAS drops today.

Can someone help me understand better ?

Hello, is there a stipulated time frame from when one receives CAS to when one can apply for a visa?
Also, after getting a student visa, how long does one have to travel, like can I choose to travel 6 months after getting a student visa?
Lastly, if I have a program to attend in the UK 6 weeks before the start of my course, can I be allowed to travel 6 weeks before the course starts I heard u can only be allowed to travel at least a month before the commencement of study.

Pls how much is dependent visa fee if one want to apply for hubby. The lady is in UK already but want to apply for her husband. Any other fees to pay and are they refundable incase of refusal. Thanks

Tell us about the empty NSF mail and I want to also find out if they ask for the bank statement of main applicant in the bid to know if funds where recycled?

Guys Good evening. I recently had an interview with a representative from Dundee University. She informed me that I failed the interview and that I should schedule another one. If i didn't pass next one will that affect my chances of receiving a cas from another institution?

I can't agree any less, it actually is complicated.
However, I am willing to take my chances.

But please, if the AR becomes successful and IHS isn't refunded, would I still have to pay for a new IHS if I'm required to submit another application to match the previous one?

When applying for spouse and dependent the gov.uk website says ***If your partner or child is applying at a different time to you (they’re applying separately) they only need to prove they have money to support themselves.***

The funds for them is still in my account and is more than enough but we just got nsf asking for the amount in the screenshot below.

How do I tackle this?

Do I add my fees paid so far, rent paid?

Please I need clarity in this matter, my wife msc program is one year and seven months and during her application we paid ihs fees of 940 and visa fee of 490. I want to start my two sons application and mine now, is it going to be the same ihs fee with my wife who is the main applicant?
Secondly, for those who just applied for their dependents after the main applicant; is there any need to upload the main applicant bank statement during uploading knowing fully well we are using a separate bank account for the visa application. Hope they won’t ask for main applicant bank statement at the point of entering? First time poster!!!! Thanks

Sorry to hear about your circumstance. Just address the reason for refusal with a cover note or the space given in the application to state your own side of the story and avoid getting emotional in your tonation so as not to digress from your aim which is to make the NEW ECO handling your application understand the reason and focus on the current application in front of him.I always advise people to focus on what is ahead and try not to waste any energy making people feel their pain because some of this pain was inflicted deliberately or otherwise. Stay focused..... and use the lessons learned to get it right this time.

Hello gurus in the house, I applied for UK visa last September, the requested for my TB cert, which I sent. This caused a delay, I did a lot of paid mails, not positive response till the school's deadline elapsed. I then got a mail of refusal from ukvi, reason that my school withdrew my CAS. My question is, if I want to apply this year, should I include a letter, explaining the reasons for the previous refusal and my disappointments? Or that won't be necessary? Pls I need help on this. Yes, i did get confirmation or appointment and checklist pdf document. My email is correct on their database I’m just surprised as to what really went on, maybe there is anything to be done or just reapply.

Thanks for your response there was non, no refusal mail, no brp mail, nothing, not in my inbox or spam, I don’t delete my spam messages because of this application, there was non, even as i typ this tls is yet to send me collection mail, but i have gotten my passport, i checked my email there no error in my email as well.

I’m still confused till date to how this happened ?

Now to reapply for my dependent

Every document is in place. But I want to ask for statement of account...the money has been in my account since November 2022 should I print a 2 month statement to prove it's not recycled or just stick to the 28 days?

Can dependent applying separately go for priority?

Visa is issued on a passport with a 6 month validity but new passport is ready for pick-up because passport has been processed to avoid issues of expired passport

If the passport is picked up and the old passport is cancelled, can one still travel with both old and new, bearing that the visa vignette is on the old passport
