if you are using self service ...you are uploading everything to support your application via the self service portal.I mean everything you need to support your application as the TLS appointment for you will only be for capturing and not submitting anything or else you will be charged for assisted service even if its just a document. what you will require for your appointment is written in your appointment letter.

For the Consent letter Sample go to Page 1 of the tread.

The appointment cant be automatically linked but you can make your appointment same time if
1.You can find a date for all of you if the slot is available for free
2. You pay flexi appointment for each applicant for the date of your own application if 1 above is not feasible and flexi is available.
3. If 2 is not also available then they select any date and just follow you on your day and pay for walk in for each of them (its accepted for family even when its refused for others).

Aside 1, All the other option attracts extra fees please refer to the TLS site for the updated cost. Walk in last time I checked was 44k per applicant

From Experience it is the last one she will select . Give more details means she will state what she knows of the case and attempt to make clarity on what led to the Ban or just make a statement of remorse. The one I witnessed was a false document and the applicant wrote what happened and explain it was a paid agent who handled his application and stated clearly he has been to other countries during the period of the Ban and never broke any immigration law while there e.t.c His Visitor Visa to the UK was approved and he his currently there since December.
TLS Assisted service appointment is for each applicant even if you go as a family. No set of applications will be treated jointly during processing hence each application has its own unique GWF number for upload.

Quite Straight forward. If you have not made any payment to the initial School ,just out of courtesy send them a mail stating you are withdrawing your Application/Acceptance of offer .Some people just proceed with the other School and the initial School normally gets the message if no response from the applicant after accepting the offer and by the deadline the school automatically withdraw the offer. If you have paid money then you need to check the refund policy of the school before sending your withdrawal mail so you are not caught in a loop of getting your fund back on time.

The Truth is the best answer .What you dont want with your school is saying something to get CAS and having issues with UKVI on something you dint declare .Some people give different response and have scaled trough but my advice is State it as it is which is

If you could do the hardest part getting Your CAS ..I think you can fill your Application form and you coming here means you know you can be guided correctly for FREEE.
Its a process so start filling your application form right away the most critical questions are answered with the CAS document and if you need clarity come back here and you will be guided accordingly .

The lady who said you will start afresh is correct because

1. The CAS issued for an application and a decision has been made can NEVER be used again
2. The Visa fees once used is non refundable
3. FOR IHS LOOK AT THIS FROM THE SITE:
Refunds
You’ll get a full immigration health surcharge (IHS) refund if:

you paid twice
your visa application is refused
you withdraw your visa application
You’ll get a partial IHS refund if your visa application’s successful but:

you get less time on your visa than you asked for
any dependants on your visa application are refused
If you are due a full or partial refund for these reasons, you do not have to do anything to get it. It will be automatically paid to the account or card you paid with.

You will not get a refund if:

your visa application is successful but you do not come to the UK
you leave the UK before your visa ends, for example to make a new application
you’re told to leave the UK before your visa expires
you’re applying for indefinite leave to remain

With these 3 Facts above you should know what your options are and your school will issue another CAS dependent on what their process for reissue is at the point of you reapplying for it because you must apply for the CAS again.

Not necessary. You need the School that will be sponsoring you to accept it with other requirements for the course you applying for . The School has to be a sponsor with a track record of compliance to make it easier for you .Good luck and start reading the tread from page 1

The account they used was not the main applicant's own rather it was the mother's account. Is it possible for the main applicant to include his account to make up the shortage?

I am not sure about this but you can give your best shot at your response after seeking other opinion here or probably immigration expert if you have the immediate access .The reason is the ECO had enough reasons to refuse but seems to want an explanation on the anomaly raised to decide if to give the person with bank statement and reject the 2 kids or maybe to refuse everyone(judging from the tonation of the mail) . Just be certain that anything given will form the confirmed basis of refusal/acceptance after reaching out via the mail. Best of luck ..my final 2 cents on the matter

True ,but what I am wondering is why is the ECO sending the mail to address and not refusing ..........More like I can see you all (or the kids alone) dont meet the required criteria so please give attention to or to deal with the matter or problem Highlighted. The reason for this is to meet up the requirement and/or give your honest explanation. Most scenario similar to this with funds are best justified with either recent or new payments which could fall into evidential flexibility. The alternative is ...............................wait for refusal for all or just the kids ?

One of the things you can do after an honest explanation is to make further payment towards extending your current accommodation contract or a new payment for accommodation to cover the variation in cost and providing a proof for it with an updated bank statement period.

Yes you can.

It is only After you click Submit on the TLS page that you have actually uploaded .This must be done before your Biometrics.

This has nothing to do with his acceptance but the criteria for the visa you are requesting which I believe is a dependant VISA. This is what is on the uk.GOV website and from this you should be able to know why you cant easily fit in unless someone else has done it and they can advise you how feasible that is .
A dependant partner or child is one of the following:

your husband, wife or civil partner
your unmarried partner
your child under 18 years old - including if they were born in the UK during your stay
You’ll need to provide evidence of your relationship when you apply, for example:

a marriage or civil partnership certificate for your partner
a birth certificate for your child

The best is for the person concerned to report it like as if it is a mistake and you need it changed. If they reply the better but the first red flag to note is they ignore your mail and you will have to be sending reminders before they either tell you to return it for another one or they say it was no mistake. Just do your best as the one I witnessed was no mistake and the dependant has stuck with the no work no business BRP till date .SEEK Further counsel.

Are you recently married to the main Applicant? If yes that could be a reason if No ....then maybe something else. Which ever way please reach out to them for clarity. It's a new trend I discovered for the dependant and some are mistakes some are deliberate They are brewing something and I hope it's not what I think.

It was a really off-guard question hence why I Brought it here to share. Apparently all we rehearsed before she left like accommodation, how are you funding, what are you doing back in Nigeria, and all other personal stuff dint come out

The lesson here is: Be prepared for anything as well as learn from others' experiences as much as you can get.

I just received Teesside University September offer today MSc public health ( 2 years program 18k pounds.. 9k pounds per year) with 5k pounds initial deposit. I also received University of Sunderland offer same MSc public health but university of Sunderland is one year program(15 k pounds) with initial deposit of 3,500 and to pay more 4k b4 enrolment. Am so so confused now on which one to follow.. My people pls advice me on which one to follow between University of Sunderland (one year program) and Teesside University (2 years program).. If possible pls advice me with reasons for preference.. Pls I will be going with one dependant (my wife)

My little advice.

1. Do you have the cost for both deposits? if so move to 2 if not choose the one with a lesser cost
2. What is the balance payment plan Like ?.....choose the one that favors you if it aligns with your cost budget above
3. What are your future Plans .... Studying and leaving the UK or studying to work if studying to work or settling for one year is better if u have a good budget to accommodate since a study visa does not lead to settling unless you switch.
4. If you are fully aware of 1 to 3 above other things to consider are location, accommodation, job opportunities, and community.

Best of Luck . Most times cost may be a major decider but in most instances, future plans overrule all.

I am Sorry about your case but if you read the Caseworker guide which I read a trillion times before helping my MA submit. You will see where they wrote that the caseworker has the right to refuse you without requesting for extra documents when he/she is certain the funds aren't met. He/she can only rely on evidential flexibility by sending NSF if you also showed another POF in another account name and clarity is not given. He/she is mandated not to seek further evidence when such clarity or document won't change his/her decision especially when the initial application dint meet the required standard to score the 10 points for POF. I don't know your particular case as I just replied to your last message. My advice is to seek clarification from an immigration lawyer or agent with similar experience before going on an Administrative review. It is only turned over when the Caseworker CLEARLY made an error and from your comment that is not an error..

This is what has been referred to over again in this tread as Empty NSF which means UKVI is letting you know it will take more time out of the norm to process your application i.e if you are standard it maybe more than 15 working days and if you are priority it may take more than 5 days . The mail has not asked for any document so you just hold tight and be hopeful for a positive outcome . Follow up with a paid call or mail if the regular timeline exceeds for a status check on your application.

The account's first transaction date does not consist of the duration counted. The bank statement has a period(start date- end date) it has an opening balance and a closing balance also. The ECO checks the closing balance figure and counts back to ensure it is up to 28 days of you having the required POF based on your circumstance. My MA used an account with only 4 transactions in 3 months and had a successful application.

So u are saying an excess of 1.9M, apart from.of her actual POF, was in her account at the time of visa approval.... if yes...there is no harm in combining accounts...

Lets hope a wicked ECO will not assume its funds recycling ...i suggest u back it up with a cover note..... because we have seen cases where some ECO ddnt even bother to check an applicant combined two accounts and denied the apllication for insufficient funds based on one statement

I think my major concerns is the ECO getting confused.

If you want to submit this then please

1. Reprint an up to date statement not just the dates that was submitted earlier even if it is within the stipulated 31days, this will be you showing the ECO that the money is still available

2. Include a consent letter from the MA for the balance, the letter should be detailed and say you have access to the remaining 1.9m in excess

3. Include a very detailed cover letter stating the relevant bank statement and what covers what please.

4. Be prepared for any NSF

The key is reprinting the statement to date not using an old already printed version

In my opinion, the excess should be moved and you can restart your count. Again you may be asked to resubmit the MAs statement to check if POFs was recycled.This you can resubmit an up to date statement and invoices/receipt if applicable with a cover letter explaining

First....U cannot recycle funds (recycle means u cannot use the funds an applicant has initially declared for their own upkeep as ur own unless its very much in excess to cover u both at the time it was initially used)...

Two ..what kinda visa is it and how much are u expected to have as POf...??
if its work visa..main applicant only needs 1270£ ...and one dependent does not need more than 300£ ..so even if u have like 3 children...ur 2.8M is already enough

Thank You for the response. Its a tier 4 Student Dependent VISA partner. I am required to provide 7605 pounds .During her application which was successful she was to proof 19006 pounds . The account she used had 22,214 pounds as at the oanda rate used then. The issue of recyled funds is what i am trying to remove by using the same period showing my own funds 2.8m and relying on the excess she has to push my application. I dont think recyled fund is my concern but the possibility of using 2 accounts one from me and the others from the main applicant hence my question . i intend submitting exact duration for both statement to negate the recycled funds possibility.PLease note the account in question is stil valid as the closing date on the balance was 28th December 2022. She got her VISA on the 11th of January . I intend submitting application on the 20th

Ensure that you can prove that funds aren't being recycled if need be. For this, it's better to have tuition receipts, rent receipts, outstanding tuition, and maintenance balance for the MA to show that the funds are different.

Priority is always on the MA, the dependants can arrive at any time.

Please be patient, you can chase again and request for escalation if you don't get an update by the end of the week.

This response is the bitter truth most dependents don't want to accept. @dduchess Please as a dependant whose MA recently got the visa, can I use the unexpired Proof of funds and my personal account to apply for my dependant visa? I need 7605 pounds I have 2.8M in my personal account and the MA has an excess of 1.9m in its account. Can I present both accounts for my proof of funds so as not to be flagged for recycling funds or how do you advise I do it? Ma applicant's proof of funds was from Oct to Dec and I intend to show my pof from Oct to Dec 29, 2022, to prove it's not recycled.
