Good afternoon,
i need your urgent advise, am a Poland student applicant way back 2021, but unfortunately i was stuck at the visa interview appointment date stage.
i waited and waited hoping to get visa interview appointment date, all to no avail. so i asked for my tuition refund, which the school refunded back my money. so i ignored anything call Poland and moved on with my life.
This morning, i just decide to check the mail i used for the application, i just realized the embassy has schedule me for interview since January 26,2023.

Please , what can i do?
can i re-validate the appointment date?
i don't mind mailing the school and start the admission process afresh, but is the interview appointment date is what matters at the moment.

what can i do?

After one month wait.....VPU finally returned my tuition today.

Goodluck to everyone still trying poland. It's a dead zone.

Good morning,

would like to know how long it took the school to refund your tuition, because have also requested, the school said 3- 4 weeks, but it more than four weeks now.
just want to know the exact duration you waited before you got the refund. so as to do my own calculations here and make my plans.
Thanks.

Properties / Advise On Acquiring A Land. by dpacesetter(m): 10:15am On Nov 24, 2018
Great people of nairaland,
I need your advise on a decision am about to make on buying a land from a real estate company called Adron homes at one of their estate at ota, Ogun state.
After several conversations with the company enquiries unit. I decide to buy a plot of land from them. They said after have made my final payment. They will give me the below documents.
Document to receive.
1) Receipt of payment
2) Contract of sale
3) Provisional letter of allocation (Description and address of the land, Plot D, way description etc.
But the issue am having with them is as below:
1) They said they won't allocate physical land to me now, since am not building on the land instantly, because my aim is to buy and leave it for couple of years (2-3) then resell or build on it. But my fear is that how will I depart with my money and I won't see the physical land I paid for. Just carrying paper around that I have a land, which is somehow unreasonable to me.
2)my fear is that hope they won't resell my portion of land to another person, nd move me to another estate since I didn't do anything on my land.
Please kindly help shed light on the above mentioned concern.
Thanks.

Happy new year, my fellow nairalander, have been a silent follower of this thread for long, and have read, learnt and share ideas to people from this thread.
I just suggest for us to keep enjoying this thread, I suggest our brother & sis over there should share us pix, fun and celebration they had in UAE on Xmas and new year, just to refresh our brain and mind, before we commence full lectures on Qatar and UAE for this 2018 and moreover that might ginger our fellow naija bro & sis to still wish to visit the Arab Emirate land...

VLA, ICS, SOL, XL etc are the major outsourcing firms for bank tellers. they carry out test for their prospective employees and whenever there clients (banks) need staff, they will send from the list of those who pass the test to the bank for interview or depending on the bank they can do the interview themselves.

so relax banks always need tellers and since u pass their test you are next in line.
Thanks.
Jobs/Vacancies / Enquiries About VLA by dpacesetter(m): 10:36am On Jan 15, 2016
I went to VLA on Thursday, 7th of this month to write their test. As an ND holder we solved 28 objective questions, no essay and we submit our CV and passport. And after the test we are told to go that they will get back to us.
since last week Thursday we are yet to receive any update from them, no update about the next step, or probably our result. I believe those that know much about VLA on how they recruit ND holders can shed light on this.
Thanks.

clearly the author has never worked in a bank . some are lies, *most bankers transfer their salary to other banks immediately it is paid to other banks * many bankers have other businesses like farms, car sales business etc * some people work in banks to gain experience/escape boredom, the money they are being paid is not up to 5% of what they get from their rich parents * u can get married to ur co worker in a bank like stanbic but must not be in the same unit/dept. stop misleading people angry
Ednut, when you don't know anything is better you keep mute and learn instead of exhibiting your ignorance. I worked in a bank and all what the OP said is right based on the bank policy. But bankers have a way of maneuvering it. And try to read and digest write-up before you comment.

Good day Naira anders,
I got a message this afternoon from ics Ltd, You are invited for Test/Interview by 8AM , 10 Oct 2015 at ICS Ltd. 6, OLUSOJI Idowu st, Obanikoro. Come with All Original Certs including Birth Cert, WAEC/NECO.
But the issue there is that I did two NECO exams, june/July 2010 and june/july 2011. I only have the original certificate of 2010 with me, but I had D7 in English language, but the 2011 original certificate is not ready and I have credit in all subject for that of 2011.
For those that knows much about ics Ltd, will ics Ltd accept my 2010 original certificate (without English language) or should I present my 2010 original certificate that has D7 in English language or I should decline the invitation, not to waste my money because I will be traveling down to Lagos from ibadan.

Am surprised seeing people posting comments that can't help but ruin this girl future.
Op, to be sincere with you, you are about to take the wrong step in going into a relationship at your age. The essence of a relationship is to get married and am sure you are not ready for marriage yet. Am sure you are still in secondary school or seeking admission, there are many meaningful things you can engage your life with instead of going into a relationship. or do you think the grades you had in your academics is what makes you think you are doing good in your studies.? There are lots more to do than scoring good grades in your academics. I will advise you to ignore this silly emotions of yours and find something meaningful to do with your life instead of engaging in a relationship at 17. Moreover why don't you tell your parents that you want to engage in a relationship at your age and receive the bashing of your life instead of coming down to nairaland to seek advice. Ladies of 28,29 are regretting been in a relationship not to talk of a little girl of age 17. What do you know about been in a relationship? How many relationship books have you read? ARRANT NONSENSE......

I will advice all Alexander Crystals candidates to take a bold step, and go through other agencies. Like Redwood, Arkminster, Enit Global et al.
.
Forget all the calls you have been putting through. As a business enterprise, they would answer you diplomatically, saying that they will still contact you and all that but my dear fellow job seekers.... Improvise, be wise. This info is from a concrete source... Actually i got it from one of the inside sources.... I didnt want to say anything then but from the look of things you need this information urgently. Goodluck to you all.

Kayswat:
Please this is just straight from the heart of a confused fellow. I'm not and can't make a good writer but I have to say this, so I'm dying to hear your candid say on it

I'm in dilemma currently, I think I'm in love with this girl but there are so many barriers between us plus I wouldn't know her own view. Firstly, religion she's a staunch xtian according to my perception so as I'm a loyal Muslim. I wouldn't know if my family esp my mum will buy that coz I can't just toy with her(she is all I have) not to talk of her family coz seriously I can't marry someone with different believe as I am. She will have to change. It's a long distance relationship though but I believe if I can overcome all the other obstacles The distance isn't a much problem.
I believe love is a thing of the heart, to me she is a perfect match for my future partner. Lemme quickly brief our journey, we happened to attend same secondary school but not even a hi as a greeting was exchanged while we were there, we started all this pre-admission chat on Fb and what really later made us close is that she later attended a A'level school with a close cousin of mine which is a girl and as a talkative or how will I put that cousin of mine she quickly clinched to her knowing that we attended same school.
Our discussion further from there, we exchange numbers and periodically put a call through not until when I noticed it's four years already and it's now as deep as I can never think of. I didn't tell her I have a thing for her but it's just too obvious and she know it coz recently something transpire between us and she made mention that she knows I like her and she wouldn't wanna take advantage of that that's why she has been the way she is to me and also mention the feeling she has for me though not directly but I got the message.
I'm an introvert just lemme say I'm too confidential I keep my things to my self, I have this thing that no one is perfect so there is no need sampling all the girls around for me to choose someone that I know is good for me.
Every man is born with that evil, the bad people are those who let it overcome their good spirit, I know the inner me is arrrgghhhhh a bad boi, I can get any girl I want with what I have(just bragging) but I wouldn't like that coz I will so much spoil things and probably because I'm the only male of the family and I can't imagine someone play any of my sister.
What will a man cherish in a woman other than her being submissive [she is incompatible]. Loyal[as loyal as loyalty itself]. Beauty [her body is a temple of beauty which she happen to be a goddess there again]. Smart[not until when I met her I believe most girls like her are bimbo] intelligent.... What else?.
Confusion is a state of mind in which no one can master and a problem shared is a problem half solved coz I can't hold this any longer. It's either I just tell her I wanna back off with what I started or.... I'm just in a jumble state of mind
Should I proceed to tell her and probably she has the same feeling or I should just keep my thing to myself and look elsewhere.
Thanks in anticipation
@op, what matter most in a relationship or marriage is understanding and qualities of your partner. From ur write-up, it seems this girl has all the qualities u want from a woman, what u guys need is understanding to solve this issue of religion out. Religion has really caused havoc in many people life just because they don't understand the concept properly, to me I don't see marrying someone from another religion as an issue except traditional worshipper. Have seen couples from different religion having a peaceful and excellent home, even better than those from the same religion.
Lastly prior proper preparation prevent poor performance. create a home not a house for your family
