WE MUST WITHOUT SENTIMENTS COMMEND THE BIAFRANS FOR HARNESSING THEIR TALENTS WHICH IS IN EVERY NIGERIAN.
Do you that GM motors has a Nigerian young man from Kano as the designer of one of their most popular brands even when a lot of people in the South believe that every kid from the North is an Almajiri good only to be used during religious riots.
The biafrans where actually ahead of their time and one person who tried to bring them together for the govt to tap from their talent was Brig Gen Ogbemudia who went to an extensive lenght to gather the manuscripts used by the Biafran inventors and designers only for his then boss Gen Bisala to burn them in his presence with the comment 'so this is what these nyanmiris used in prolonging the war' unfortunately Gen Bisala was killed after the coup against Gen Murtala.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You all are aware of the phoney GSM promos across the networks asking us to text 'GO, WIN, START etc' and collecting our hard earned N100 for each SMS.
Just recently there was a promo from MTN called TREASURE HUNT and another advertised by Ramsey Noah for Glo called WIN 555 MILLION which are all nothing but reaping off gullible of Nigerian Masses.

GLO recently started BID TO WIN advertised by Ini Edo and promised 18 Tear Rubber Cars. All of a sudden after making so much money from Nigerians who were 'Mugu' enough to play, they only gave out 2 Cars (One to a guy from Portharcourt and another from Kaduna) as we saw on TV and ended the promo.

Zain is also doing a promo being undertaken by the same guys who conducted the GLO promo asking us to text 'WIN' for N100 per SMS and win N2m everyday.

People have this impression that the Networks are dashing out N500m or N1b to lucky subscribers (Na lie).
What happens is that you as an individual can go to any of the Networks with a concept that will attract people to send SMS. The Network will issue you a special code number like 333, 555 or 222 if they accept your idea.

For every N100 SMS sent to that code, the Network receives 40%, the owner of the concept gets 40% and the remaining 20% is spent on adverts and Prizes to be issued to a few genuine individuals across the country, while they 'arrange the rest' of the winners.

I have worked as assistant in one of the companies organising the promo, we had to use Gbenga Adeyinka (the first) as anchor to give it credibility. Anyway, I have a brand new Pegeout 307 to show for it (yes arranged, but e no concern you)

Wow! what  a statement. I suggest you read your history books on liberation of South Africa

Nigerian led in the fight against apartheid not Libya. Don't sell your country short in order to advance misleading and inaccurate facts.
Hey! pls read again what he wrote. He didnt say Gaddafi was the only person who fought against apartheid, neither did he mention that Nigeria did not contribute. When their is a war its not only one person that is at the forefront, there could be several others working together at the front.

Why not move to Tripoli and congratulate the NTC for 'liberating' Libya at the cost of 60,000 lives with foreign collaborators dropping depleted uranium on civilians in order to protect them from Gaddafi who gave them good life and pride.
Do you know what it takes to put a small country of 6million on the world map with so much voice and carriage which was just too much for your European masters to bear? It takes a Muammar Gaddafi to achieve that and not a Paul Biya who just won another term of 7 years after over 30 years in power as a French puppet and many people did not even know that an election took place in Cameroon because the western media gave it a blackout to allow him to rig successfully in their interst

A big picture perspective for all Gadaffi apologists:

Quality education, food, good health and quality housing are all fundamental right of every citizen in all countries. That Gadaffi ensured people did not starve is not disputed. Sadly, in African we are quick to hail this kind of achievement as a beacon of great leadership.

Gadaffi portrayed himself as a Pan-African leader fighting against colonialism and a lot of Africans drank this cool aid; it was all a fraud perpetuated on Africans. The man was simply a cunning leader who used his enormous wealth to buy off leaders of African countries.

Africans should stop thinking about food, clothing and housing alone. Only societies that encourage freedom of thought and expression can develop
I know that you are not writing this from Somalia and East Africa where people are actually starving due to bad leadership. If what you mentioned is not a beacon of good leadership why is Europe and America in crisis with rioting and Occupy Wall Street because their leaders are denying them with austerity measures what you said Gaddafi gave to his people and should not be celebrated as a beacon of good leadership.
Some peoples brain surely contains saw dust.

DON'T try to compare Qaddafi to Mandela angry angry

Without Qaddafi's support you won't have a Mandela!! He was at the forefront of fighting apartheid!!

Libya is the only Muslim majority nation I can live in without discrimination. Qaddafi puts African religions and Islam at the top of his mind! He is visionary. forget his arrogance. If Obomber get such wisdom, vision and power, he'd be even more arrogant,
I watched a video filmed by the NTC rebels showing them forcing black Libyans to eat raw meat of dead Libyan soldiers and kiss a dogs head. With their actions, the world knows that the West has just installed a terrorist group in Libya whom they will fight when they start sponsoring Islamists to attack US and Europe; then they will declare another War on Terror like Bin Laden.

Rest in Peace Lion of the desert! The western main stream media will continue their attempt to dehumanise and demonise you, but we now know the real truth. They are collapsing and Libyan oil will not be enough to save their economies because there are too many vultures scavenging for one carcass. You withstood forty countries forming an alliance and you promised never to abandon your homeland and your people and you bravely paid the supreme price.
Adieu! Africa will never forget you, you live on in our hearts.

I'm a bona fide citizen of Imo State, I am in a better position to tell u what's going on in Imo state, Gov Rochas okorocha is indeed trying in the aspect of cutting down excess unneccesary government expenses. But he has not done really good in implementing and actualizing up to 80% of his promises. My mum is a civil servant. Ever since he took over as governor, my mum have never gotten her salary as at when due, they continue moving frm one screening to another. September salary was just paid few days ago, Moreover why did he even allow the state NUC To embark on a strike on this issue since he knew he can pay it and even pay extra, My little sister is in one of the government schools, She paid her school fees last term and no money was refuded despite the Governors directive. This term the boarding fee has just been increased. He promised them books, uniform and allowances and they are yet to be paid, A lot of things are really going wrong, Owerri which used to be the cleanest city is now in its old sorry state, 80% of Imo roads are gone, I just pity the man and prays he get his steps right.
Mr bonafide how many salaries does your mum receive. Do you realise how much Imo is now saving through verification of the thousands of ghost workers discovered in the Imo civil service?
The Gov has declared that he wants to compete with any Gov in Nigeria who thinks he can suppass his achievements after one year.
Report the school principal who failed to refund school fees as instructed by the Gov to the authorities, you can even petition the commissioner for education to intervene.
Would you rather want to have the OTONDO 1 of Abia State T.A. Orji in place of Okorocha?

Like I said, the issue is more cultural than finacial. The only way to solve the problem is a change of leadership in the core-North (that is the only way that culture can be changed). Throwing money at the illiteracy problem there will just be the same as making a burnfire of dollar bills.
The abysmally poor leadership of that region is not only the countries worst nightmare, but also the greatest clog in our wheel of development.
Roger that!the Emirs dont encourage the children of the talakawas to go to school and sit in the same class with princes; they are rather encouraged by the Emirs to memorize the Koran at the madrassas for Allahs blessings while their own children and those of the elite in the community are sent out of their communities to go and live with other Emirs or sarikis to study western education.
The talakawas are meant to believe from childhood that they are made to serve the Emirs who was appointed by Allah. This is unlike in the South were the children of the Oba or Eze or Jaja are recognised for their prowess in areas of life by the community like football skills and are free to mingle with other kids in class at the village schools.

BusinessRe: Business Ideas In Nigeria by Dpharisee: 5:27pm On Oct 17, 2011
Taxi cab in Abuja? People there complain of the insincerity of drivers affecting the business. Inter-State transport is better to manage. Dry juice can make a good market but you may have to deploy aggressive marketing by advertising to beat existing market.
One other factor to consider is that products from America are always costlier inspite of the quality and that is why most Nigerian importers are facing towards the East (China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand)

Why not consider a small scale industry to produce home made goods like backery and pastries or iron wrought designs for buildings windows (there are manually operated machines from Austria which cost about N2m to acquire)
Multivitamins and pharmaceuticals involves too many procedures and duties before importation which can be frustrating except you want to import through smuggling routes or use the multi-level networking like Forever Living Products, GNLD and making a lot of unfulfilled promises and making a lot of noise about the efficasy of your drugs.
Think more about what you can establish here locally.

Has Fashola shown the will to be a Mugabe, Ghadafi or Nyerere and not a rubber stamp for the West at UN security council that GEJ has become who doesnt even have the will to abstain from voting western frivolities like the BRICS.
Can Fashola go against the wishes of America, France and Britain on the international stage like Chavez of Venezuela or Lula Da Silva of Brazil.
Can Fashola say to Shell and Chevron 'go clean up your mess in Niger Delta' and review their contracts in Nigeria?
Can Fashola tell the Emirs in the North 'kai mallam every child must be in school and ban Almajirism and royal servitude'
Can Fashola say to the South East 'we must bring back the glory of Aba and work towards its rapid  reindustrialization?
Its about asking questions about the international stage which is entirely different.

The black tribe of Tarwegha has been ethnically cleanced by the rebels from Misrata who accuse them of being Ghadafi supporters and are using this opportunity provided by NATO to settle old scores.
They have announced that they are going to use bulldozers to demolish and level the entire community so that the TArweghans wont come back to their land.
The effect of the depleted Uranium and white phosphorus being used by NATO to overun perceived Ghadafi supporters will be felt in future by all including the rebels just like the Japanese and Chenobyl suffered from atonic and nuclear explosions.
Another thing is that the new NTC leaders are part of the Ghadafi regime just like you have in Egypt. Nothing really changes for the Libyan people except a destroyed nation with bitterness that will span several years just like Biafra/Nigeria.

Mr--Why:
Okonji Iweala is over-rated. She is an agent of world bank and IMF. The enemies of progress are encouraging Sanusi to deplete our dollar reserves, so that it will create an opportunity to ask for loan from her Masters in the west. At the end of the day, GEJ will bear the brunt because the economy will be very weak.

GEJ should be very careful, there are a lot of people working against him to discredit him and pretending they are working for him. As it appears, it seems GEJ doesn't know much about economics.
I guess you are right; the West is forcing all these Bretton Wood puppets on Africa to do their bidding. Name them: Mustapha Abdul Jalil - Libya NTC leader (harvard economist)
Allasane Ouattara - Ivory Coast former IMF Deputy Director
Okonjo Iweala - World Bank Nigeria.
Ellen Johnson Sirleaf - Liberia (Harvard Economist)

Their theories have never helped Africa, the most successful country in Africa, Ghadafis Libya never took a loan nor adopted IMF/World BAnk austerity measures.
South Africa and the BRICS have abandoned IMF/World BAnk.
All that Iweala has to offer is advice GEJ to remove fuel subsidy and devalue the Naira.
Let her go back to World Bank and mange Europes collapsing economies, that woman may run down GEJ if he doesnt listen to the Nigerian people

Do you know the number of children that have been killed in the ongoing Siege of Sirte and 8 months non stop bombing by the democracy peddlers led by Obama the change advocate?

Yes imperialists are coming back to Africa, now they have Ivory Coast where Ouatara got to power by stepping on the corpses of thousands of Ivoriens led by French bombers with Nigeria constantly being used to pass every veto against Africa as a member of the UNSC. America supported the dictator Museveni in circunventing the constitution on term limits and did not attack him for cracking down on protesters. Remember that GEJ convoy killed one of he protesters when he went to Kampala for the inauguration of Museveni.

Taking out vile Kony is good for the ratings.
Call it a case of reaching for low hanging fruit, if you will.
Kony has been keeping many western companies who supply him with arms in business by creating a situation of insecurity under which precious solid minerals is taking out of Congo. The problem is that the US is feeling he may distrupt oil drilling in Uganda just like the Niger Delta militants and so they have to keep the LRA in the jungles of Congo and Sudan, kind of pushing MEND and keeping them busy in Maiduguri while Shell is doing their drilling in Gbaramatu.
He is useful to them in the Congo which has vast mineral resources and should have been among the richest countries in the world based on mineral deposits.

Look, my bigger concern here is that the genesis for Africom is being sown.
Sure, there is a new scramble taking place; but as this involves predator-nations disparate as China and Saudi Arabia, it is time we elevated the discourse beyond infantile ramblings vis-à-vis the Berlin conference.
Like I said before, had Nyerere not sent troops into Uganda at the time he did, the bu.ffon called Idi Amin might have achieved complete atrophy with his agenda. Think about it, bro, when last did you read anything interesting about the CAR (Bokassa's former fiefdom)?
@bolded, who told you it was Tony Blair that brought peace to Siera Leone and Liberia? If you dont know, it was Nigeria that paid with thousands of lives of our youths under ECOMOG. The only difference is that we packed our bags and came back home without waiting to gather the spoils of war by mining diamonds and oil like your TBlair in Siera Leone.

I read some analysts who said the US are sending troops to Kony because of the discovery of oil and gas reserves in Uganda and that was why they supported Museveni in changing the constitution and removing term limits and rigging himself back to power just like the dictator Paul Biya of Cameroon. They gave the Nobel Peace Prize to Sirleaf Johnson of Liberia who was a sponsor of Charles Taylors NPDF during the war in other to sway votes her way.
The fact is that just like the Berlin Conference of 1886, there is another scramble for Africa.
Obama is a wamonger, he promised Americans to take them out of Afghanistan and Iraq, but has only being able to start another war in Libya, Yemen, Pakistan, Syria (if not for Russia and China veto) and now he is invading Uganda while looking for every excuse to attack Iran and Venezuela and putting Robert Mugabe in his sights.
What happens to American using its weight to encourage negotiations, Zimbabwe who has a 'tyrant' as a leader almost got bombed by NATO like Ivory Coast if not for Russia veto at the UN over an election dispute, but today despite all the western sanctions their economy has picked up and Morgan Tsvangirai has been exposed by Wikileaks as a CIA asset.
It is the ordinary Ugandans who will suffer from the American bombs and have their environment destroyed when these guys start full oil drilling to help their ailing economies.
Obama doesnt listen to Americans he thinks he can continue to use the main stream media to manipulate events and get the world on his wrong side.

When they are done, they keep your head on top of the lifeless body.
One Nigerian in Aljazeera when he was captured by the NTC which i know they re gonna kill him said that they have violated his wife, collected all his belongings and ended up labeling him a khadaffi supporter. Why dont we value life herehuh what is the reason. These people that are been labeled khadaffi fighters maybe Nigerians who were lucky to escape through the desert into Niger. So what is wrong in a transport company bringing them home when the Govt was handicapped to do it. 2ndly what will a khadaffi fighter from Niger and Chad that have made a lot of money be doing in Nigeriahuh?

Please i commed EKENEDILICHUKWU trans for doing what he did. The govt can do their investigation for all i care. Those guys are already happy to be back home alive.

GEJ was just too fast in recognising the rebels which smacked of puppetry to the US. South Africa and AU were able to get a written commitment from the rebels in certain areas while Nigeria did not even request for the safety of her citizens in before rushing to recognise.
Last time France led us into signing a request for the French Licone forces to bombard CIV over an election dispute living thousands of Ivorians dead while Belgium has not even had a Govt for the past 15 months and the EU is keeping quiet while the country is even on the brink of division into French speaking and Dutch speaking Belgians.
