Dangote Trailers are the number accident source in Nigeria, they have overtaken burst tires. |

''We have to reflect on the historical antecedents to appreciate what is before us now and what we intend to leave for our children and our grand children." And History of the Civil War is still not taught in our schools. |
dotG:The White man is more dubious and evil than the black man; it is whites who own Halliburton not Nigerians. It is the white man who will kill a million Iraqis to give them 'freedom and Democracy'. It is the white man who sponsors terrorists with furious bombings from the air to kill and behead hundreds of thousands of Africans in Libya including their leader Gaddafi to give them 'Freedom and Democracy' and then loot their foreign reserves, Gold and Oil resources (is that not dubious?) The Panama tax haven is owned and operated by whites not blacks and David Cameron is not being prosecuted for benefiting from it; William Jefferson was jailed because he is a black American (not white), the real owners of Halliburton including Dick Cheney former US Vice President are not in jail. The black man is still an infant when it comes to being dubious and evil. |
When some NLers predicted that the new IG will be a Muslim, Northerner with the name Ibrahim or Mohammed they were abused by many Zombites. Now they have been right that Buhari is predictable |
saintmark88:Your thinking is shallow, wait until Fulani invades your community in Edo and then you will know the importance of who controls the security apparatus. When GEJ appointed Arase there was a balance in the security agencies from the interior ministry to the military. Compare it to now. Biafra agitators and Shiite Muslims are shot dead because they dont have their people giving the orders. |
carammel:All the AIGs and DIGs will retire, thats the way it works as they will not be expected to give their far far junior complement as IG |
handie:Read what you wrote again. The president is the C-in-C and has the final say on Police appointments as head of the executive arm of Govt. All the heads of the Paramilitary in the Ministry of Interior headed by the tribal bigot called Danbazau are from one section of the country viz Prisons, NSCDC, Immigration, Fire Service, Custom |
searchiing4love:And the economy was better under her watch despite your zombified accusations. |
Congrats madam. Thats why they say behind any successful man, there is a 'good' woman. ![]() |
phemmyutd:He never said that Lagos is UN-SMART. Dont derail this thread with sentiments. States can learn from each using peer review mechanism. |
Okonjo-Iweala shines at WEF while Kemi Adeosun was locked out of her office by protesting Ministry of Finance workers who were bold to come out openly and called her INCOMPETENT. Zombites will tell us that Buharis Mosquito economic team led by Kemi is da best ![]() Countries that know and value her worth are making use of her expertise and experience including the western countries that we are begging to come and invest here while nepotism is beclouding our sense of judgement and we would rather dwell in suffering and smiling than swallow our sentiments. ![]() Can a first class student claim he knows better than his HOD who has put in 35 years as a lecturer, he may be brilliant but wont have the experience which is never gotten from text books. I will advise Kemi Adeosun to seek her counsel on how to run the economy, theres nothing to be ashamed of in going to an elder and seek for words of wisdom. |
babz11:She is wearing a SCARF not HIJAB |
Squares:Not go to court; the Muslim Clerics should ask the State ministry of Education to pass a circular to the school principals who are their employees to implement. Why are they forcing the principals to go against their employers? |
St Charles High School not Alhamdullilah Amsaruddin High School or am I making a mistake? |
Because Aisha Buhari was involved in the Halliburton scam, thats why EFCC and PMB will not reopen the issue. |
Leverage on your marketing experience in the bank. There are so many ideas already offered by respondents to choose from. Goodluck in your decision. |
Muslims dont forgive and forget even after the apology from Thisday in 2001 which led to the misworld rioting and thousands of lives lost in the North. You attack the media and expect the same media to publish the trash you are spewing. Lets all shout Allahu-Ark-Bomb to Abul Qaqa the Islamic warrior. |
GEJ doesnt really know that as commander in chief he is the highest ranking military officer in Nigeria; dont blame him so much because sometimes it is difficult to understand some of these issues as a civilian president when you are coming from the classroom into politics. |
El-rufai has his hands soiled with the way and manner he conducted demolition (mostly southerners buildings) leaving behind those of Northerners and calling it indigene houses. Subsequently many of those lands were awarded to his wives and kids and even those of them in primary school were allocated choicelands in FCT. He is a tribalist unlike Ribadu who is more refined. There is a lot of talks about how he sanitized Abuja, thats baldadash as all his efforts were concentrated only on the city centre with little effort to develop the Area councils and expand the city beyond Asokoro, CBD, Garki, Wuse I & II, Maitama and Gwarimpa. The killing of corp members in the North after the last April presidential election by CPC supporters is a serious stain on the image of the party in the South and so it is still more of a North West & North East party unlike the crooked PDP that has a national outlook even in their misrule |
Igbos are known for hardwork and the fact that the civil servants in Imo State wants to continue to lazy around in their thousands in Owerri the state capital and afraid of Gov Rochas decentralising development to every nook and corner of Imo State goes to show how bad we have degenerated as a nation under misrule. Rochas Community Government Council is a new innovation that should be tested, meaning that contracts are awarded for development projects and details given to the intended beneficiary community with a caveat that if they allow the project to fail in their own homes their families and people would know whom to accuse and neighbouring communities will prevent them from coming to their own successful facilities such as health centers. The State is saving so much money from ghost workers as civil servants are paid with cheques on physical appearance and this is not going down well with many of them. Moreover @OP, this report is not smart as it happened on Sunday from the time you got the live communication from your relative in Owerri when civil servants dont go to work. So it is dubious. Try to be smarter next time when you want to castigate Gov Okorocha |
I have looked at the list of the panel that indicted him as a religious fanatic on the Jos crisis and they include both Muslim and Christian jurists, Hausa and Fulani, Igbo, Yoruba and ethnic Plateau indigenes and I wonder if they all could be wrong in their judgement. Anyway I feel what GEJ has done is trying to use a thief to catch another thief which proves to be more effective sometimes. With his appointment I believe that Boko Haram will sheath their swords as he may be able to reachout to the leaders some of whom maybe known to him as he has been supervising zone 12 where BH is most active. The Panel that indicted MD Abubakar as a religious fanatic was evenly made up of both Muslim Jurists and Christians and included Hausas and Fulani, Igbo, Yoruba and indigenous Plateau people. For all of them to agree on this singular issue means that GEJ should investigate and ensure that this guy has dropped his fanatical beliefs and sponsorship of militant groups. i. Hon. Back in FUTMINNA students created what we called 'Suyanwich' and 'Cooling' which implied the mai shayi frying egg with bits of suya in it and performing the stunts of mixing the tea (containing half cup of tin milk) until it foams, then making sure that the foaming tea gets stuck in your upper lip with the first sip. As he is making the tea you also enjoy listening to some Hausa music or BBC/VOA Hausa news service even if you cant speak the language. When you get to the mai shayi joint during peak period the first question you ask is mallam how many people dey for line and he will reply pour, pive that means you have to wait patiently or you leave. You also have another kind of mai shayi who sell local viagra tea called burantashi as an aphrodisiac, which the mallams call 'key starter' shayi or network service shayi ![]() |
The solution to Lagos remains effective mass transit programme by having light rails crisscross all major parts of the State, then the roads can be expanded with bike lanes for those wishing to ride on okada. |
I read a lot of posts and post not much when my line of thought has been delivered by a poster in a topic, but there are some posters that I regularly jump over their posts because of their sometimes childish posts when serious ideas are being contrived by some brilliant NL posters and they are: Eko Ile Alj Harem Bluetooth etc These guys seem to have brain fluids mixed with sawdust. |
I wouldnt blame Nigerian men developing a phobia if they realise that they are being flown by an all female crew ensconced in a huge tube 30,000 feet above sea level, because of the cultural belief of women getting emotional when there is need for calm in case of a serious emergency. Its just like seeing a female wine tapper on top of a palm tree, the African men will naturally believe that heights are not for women same as in flying a commericial aircraft but when it comes to serving the male tapped wine it is sweeter when served by the female (hostess). |
During my primary schools I used to love it when a woman puts to bed because I will go there to get my share of cabin biscuits and sprinkle powder on my body even if I havent taken a bath. Powder is also poured into a tray where you take and rub yourself and drop some money for the mother and child. Nobody mentions the preference for male or female during this period If it is in our house, we use to pilfer some baby milk like NAN and Cerelac, but you are dead meat if mum catches you. |
When GEJ said he was banning the country from international football for two years we shouted and called him names, now finally we have banned ourselves from every international competition both male and female after spending so much money on all the travels and foreign training camps. Disband NFF now and focus on improving the local league where talents can be nurtured remember Eguavoen, Keshi, Amochachi, Siasia all started from the local league before becoming international stars. |
Boko haram and Police Corruption. See cartoons

Onyocha:Thanks for this info, like some mentioned earlier American gifts are nothing short of Greek gifts, this is just a thank you 1968 Tokumbo gift for our vote on the devastation of Libya through a dubious UN mandate which allowed the US led NATO to bomb that country back to the stone age. Will the US give this kind of gift to South Africa or Brazil? NO. They wouldnt accept it and if they do it will not be in the public news. The cutter is to be used to fight militants in the Niger Delta and protect American oil installations while no effort is being made to better the polluted environment and improve the lives of the people. |
