ZACHIE:My best guess as well |
Nollywood: Fact or Fiction? |
ziemcorp:Again I beg to differ. But let's agree to disagree. Cheers |
Luak:How can she fix the mess that her good behaviour failed to fix ab initio? |
JuanDeDios:It's truly a mystery |
Why is Wike still in PDP? Of what benefit is that party to him at this point? |
Luak:And how possible is this in a real life scenario? You see, at the end of the day, that good girl will never be the same no matter how you look at it. She will remain broken and may lose her life along the way. The ones who fight back, the so-called ones with horrible characters are actually the people who end up surviving to recount the tale. When I encounter people who behave differently, it is almost always a reflection of the environment they grew up in. Same principle is taught in medicine. A once happy child suddenly becoming quite, withdrawn and perhaps violent most definitely encountered something that changed her. Doctors are taught to hunt for that trigger. |
Luak:So what do you advice such girls who end up in bad homes to do? |
I am confused |
donmik:Thank you. I will exhibit true character by asking you to reread what I have written for proper comprehension. I wish you all the best. |
Luak:I took your advice and read the passage Esther 2:1-18 as recommended by the op. One thing stood out clearly, Esther did not grow up or encounter a hostile environment, rather the opposite. 1. When her parents died, her uncle Mordecai adopted and treated her as his own daughter. 2. During the pre-selection process, the servant that was placed in charge favoured her the most and gave her special food, beauty treatments and even went as far as assigning 7 personal assistants to cater to her every need. What's more, she was given the best place in the harem to reside in. She had 12 months of bliss thanks to this servant. 3. Is it any wonder the king chose her amongst others? Besides her beauty (which was not graded so I don't know where the op got the notion that she wasn't the most beautiful), she was heavily favoured by someone who was close to the king. Being a jew had nothing to do with it. 4. When she was made the queen, "the king threw a great banquet tagged Esther’s banquet for all his nobles and officials. He proclaimed a holiday throughout the provinces and distributed gifts with royal liberality." 5. Think about it, as a contestant, she enjoyed premium treatment for 12 good months, courtesy of a SERVANT. Can you imagine her life as the QUEEN? Would you describe any of this as hostile treatment? The king valued and cherished her and she thrived in that environment. Please, let's all be guided for the sake of the women in our lives. If a woman is incapable of enduring hardship, abuse and God knows what else, it is not solely indicative of a bad character. |
Yes. Religion in general |
I just love how all the males here are chanting character. While I totally agree, characters are modified by external factors. Noone is born with a good or bad character. Her character which you adore now was carefully cultivated by a loving family/environment that nurtured it. It is no wonder that most girls from educated family backgrounds appear decent. A peaceful loving woman will most likely change when thrown into a hostile environment. Please let's consider this when singing the chorus titled 'Character' |
God1000:I really don't care for people who are wishy-washy. He was chosen to do just one job and that is to protect the faith of old as we know it but alas, he failed. He caved in to pressure and for that lapse in judgement alone, he deserves to go. |
Ok. He won't be missed |
phemray:Makes sense since this government employed the same tactics too |
ItisWell22:This works if we all tow the same line like the Israelis who prepare their citizens for battle and S. Koreans who make it mandatory for all males to undergo military training |
This is Osun? Interesting. I thought that FG suspended this exercise. Looks like I am behind on the news |
It may sound outlandish but I believe that we are next. |
Tertible |
When will this end? This is so unnecessary and cruel |
Whenever you read an article written by AI, you will always know. The writing style is always the same and sometimes it can be a major turn off because the information given is often vague, repetitive and monotonous, all of which ultimately points to the fact that the writer did very little work to arrive at the conclusions deposited. |
Metrofox:Besides ur penchant for insults, we think alike cos I also sent him a chatgpt link to peruse. |
Mathewrichard99:https://chatgpt.com/share/67b74232-6dd8-8002-8531-5d6058444685 Uwc |
Metrofox:This cracked me up. Noticed this as well but felt that he was deliberately trying to be overly dramatic. Perhaps that was his original intention cos I enjoyed his write up |
Classic narcissist |
Based on what? Anecdotal evidence, wishful thoughts, or solid facts? Your guess is as good as mine. Incompetent lots. Also, the right term is Food Security and not Food Scarcity. Ask your team to figure out the difference. |
Akalia:Let's agree to disagree please. Do have a splendid day |
Akalia:The best thing he can do right now is to stay the course. If he is forcefully removed, all the better. It is better to die for what you believe than be seen as fickle when things go awry. Trump is a new challenge that he needs to contend with and if done right, Trump may come off looking very bad/weak in this negotiation. Putin has nothing to lose, the man is just pure evil. |
Armageddon? Well they should send Bruce Willis and Ben Affleck to do what they know best. The world will miss them and we don't want to miss a thing |
When I stated earlier that zelensky is now facing two bullies, a good number of you felt differently. I hope this post has made it clearer |
Zelensky must be feeling extremely bad right now and questioning his leadership skills. If I were him, I would maintain my resolve. All this while, he was trying his best to fend off a bully, and now, there are two of them. It's a pity |
