lionlee doesn't really, it is the seller that's meant to inform the buyers that have made lower offers, so if they can increase their bid, he can sell to them.

You can't jump into conclusion that they won't be able to pay the 500$......you can only determine that when you reach out to them

everyone negotiated without knowledge of the other person's bid especially since it is an open market, if you've chosen to pay $40 and I chose $60 then seller decides to sell to me, why should you jump in my front and push $60 to the seller when he's handed it to me because of the $60 I offered him, remember the $60 was my idea.

it would be hard to apply that, if they all just placed orders with different prices, then it would've been binding on lionlee to go for the first person that supplied the link but in this case, it was the seller that made the move and broke the tie with these "I am on my way to deliver the laptop for $100 as discussed", which implies that he had decided to deal with the $100 especially since they're assumed to be separate individuals.

Whoever sent the link first owns the deal....you should put this into consideration

"whoever sents the link owns it" can't apply in this case because pricing has broken the tie and the seller chose to sell to the highest bidder, are you telling me that if the seller agreed with another buyer for $500 and goes to deliver it to the $500, he'll accept $75 from lionlee or the $75 buyer would automatically increase to $500?

Frinx gave me a deal of laptop, after which Rakiticbarca also sent me the same deal but with a different phone number but i didn't know it is the same laptop due to different numbers.. both were letgo

Now, A guy I am sharing my offerup account with also chatted with this seller on offerup and concluded on the laptop price for $100.. So the Seller now replied Rakiticbarca's sms saying I am on my way to deliver the laptop for $100 as discussed. Rakiticbarca negotiated $80 while frinx negotiated $70/$75.

So I got the laptop for $100 excluding pickup and shipping..

Abeg who is the rightful owner of the laptop??

The $100 guy owns it, the seller simply sold to the highest bidder, if he had 3 different numbers for them then I believe he'd have sent the sms to the $100 number, and he said "as discussed", who discussed $100 ? the $100 guy !

There's been no issue here, you got a ban due to your action, just like every other person and instead of reviewing your action and sitting it out quietly or contesting it, you chose to become a drama king and pollute your thread. Normally, I'd have let it slide but I hate it when false information is peddled around just for sentiments, everything should be in black and white.
Ask yourself these questions:
Did you break the rules?
Was the ban justified?

then why getting unnecessarily emotional.

check the attachment, though some moderators on some sections are lax with such rules but I give respite before taking action, and another possibility is that he may have mistakenly toggled the follow/unfollow box just by the submit button but has chosen to blame that on me too.

alot of people get ban without knowing what the offence was..

The rules are right there on the reply page, and in areas where adverts are prohibited, there's a warning text in red around the response box, and in his case, he opened his adverts in phones section and kept seeing them moved to phone market, shouldn't that tell you something? or someone just chose to make my job hard, just as many people deliberately litter the floor because "the cleaners would come and clean it jare".

You kept posting adverts in phones section instead of phone/internet market and I kept moving them to the right section, shouldn't I have just deleted them if I'm witch-hunting you as you claim? but when you persisted, I did what I do to any user that persistently breaks the rules after my warning action, or you were expecting a VIP treatment?

I didn't need to show you or anyone the attached screenshots but some of you would just create unnecessary scene and drama, some even think I should give them preferential treatment based on some sentiments.

Please get off your horses, what's unprofessional in urging you to populate your thread with the contents of which you intended to open it, a comment that could've well been a strong joke from me, quit your drama and abide by the rules and stop trying to gather unnecessary sympathy, you're not the first person to get a ban.

To some people, everything must be a witch-hunt even when the sky is clear.
He got a ban for incessant posting of ads on a section even when his earlier ads were being moved to the appropriate section but when he persisted, he was banned and whenever you get a ban from a section, you automatically get a 24hr ban on all sections and that's why his account was inactive here too and whose business is it which thread a user follows or not? especially when it is a public thread that you can view either you follow or not, even unregistered members can view threads.

Anytime a ban or restriction occurs, such user affected should check his/her profile and mail the moderator(s) concerned especially if it happened in error.
In his case, I don't know anything about his restriction.

How would you feel if you were in my shoes? you pay someone for a device and after assuring you its unlocked, it turns out to be locked, you still see that same person selling other devices steadily, you call him to replace the bad one he gave you that is with him even with a lower one, he says NO. That you don't have to call or even text him, indefinitely, that when he gets money, he will give you. So you have to wait endlessly. I bet you will be happy?

I don't think he faulted your action, your patience and compromise to forgo part of the amount is actually commendable.
