That WILL happen to you too if you let your wife be the head even TEMPORARILY.

Women CANNOT handle being the breadwinner while seeing their husband become the homemaker and REMAIN happily married.

Another FEAR from the man who posted his thread yesterday was what would happen when his wife finally decides to DIVORCE him and KICK him out while he's on her Visa as a DEPENDENT.

That's something to think about.

If she's on your Visa, that'll be different.

But if you are the Main Holder and she later gets hers AFTER you are fully settled, it'll be BETTER for your family and marriage.

My brother, I understand your situation, I can imagine being left stranded in the last minute. Your best bet now is to find cheap "hostels" you can stay for a few days and then find a shared apartment. The guy even try for you say e tell you before hand, i know people who were left stranded in Heathrow because their suppose guy nor show up.This is typical of Nigerians in the UK( and I say it without an iota of remorse).

IHS fee for 1 year program is 1154( in pounds), visa fee is 490(in pounds), however you will be charged in USD depending on the prevailing pounds to dollar exchange rate. [ This is subject to fluctuations].
You CANNOT pay with your naira card.
Open a domiciliary account, fund it, and use it to make payment.
Secondly, while filing your visa application form, you will be redirected to make payment for ihs and visa fees and select a centre for biometrics.
You will be redirected to Tls contact website where you pick a date for biometrics and pay for an appointment. It is on this website that you will upload your documents. There is a section for work experience, where you upload work references, employment letters etc.
My advice: Get someone who is knowledgeable to file in your application to avoid errors if you are not using an agent. Goodluck.

Thanks for the input, my CV didn't include anyone other external body, just after nysc in 2019 I started my business and it was officially registered in 2021

A statement of purpose would not work in this case. They want proof to show that you haven't been idle since 2017. I have enumerated the documents for you to submit. Any one of them would suffice. you could attach a training certificate of any trade you have done(online training or otherwise). THIS IS YOUR BEST BET.
If you haven't done any training or certification since 2017, then you can upload social media links of your business or have your clients write a recommendation letter for you stating that you offered "bla bla bla" service to them and that you were efficient "bla bla bla"(DISCLAIMER: This is subject to verification oooo).

This is not a big issue. I know someone who got similar email. you need to demonstrate what you have been doing since 2017. your CAC doesn't prove anything. you need to submit certifications or trainings that you have done( your name must be clearly written in these documents), internship certificates or volunteering jobs, social media links of your business, business account statement highlighting transaction payments by clients.
NB: you don't need to block all the years from 2017 to date. Adding a CV to your application is irrelevant( this is because you will need to provide references to all the places you claim to have worked)
Do this and you will be fine.

For one year program, IHS is £776 + £388 = £1164( 388 accounting for half of a year). That is how it is calculated.
Visa fee is £490 subject to the prevailing £ to $ exchange rate.
Even if you used a £ card, it will still be converted to $.

It is for both M.Sc and Ph.D. Secondly, they are done with sending invitations.

You CAN'T change from GFM to UK...continue searching for schools in Germany..secondly, it is not compulsory to have an offer letter when going for the interview. Just don't carry uk schools for GFM application.

If you are applying for M.Sc, what is your class of degree?
Trust me some guys here have 6As, first class or 2:1, but I know alot of 2:2 being considered especially if they have a sterling masters result.

The advice you got pertaining the deposit required is valid. In addition, apply to multiple schools. It is imperative to send your official transcript( although some schools accept student copy) so you can get an unconditional offer.
My advice: start processing your transcript because you will always need it, if not for ptdf, but for other scholarship opportunities.

Simply put, professional membership is an association representing members of a profession. E.g Nigeria society of engineers, Nigerian medical association, Society of petroleum engineers, NIM, ICAN etc. These associations charge money for membership and you pay an annual levy too. However, if you studied electrical/electronics eng, I can recommend a foreign body that will not charge you and you will get your membership certificate in 3weeks.
You can't use ICPC.

There is no issue. The most important thing are the documents you present on the day of the interview. You get extra points for professional membership.

Back to the issue, you can select a course related to your intended field of study. Since he enquired about computer science, I am sure there must be Information Technology or something on the list.

There's no limit. However, I would advice that you apply to schools now. You can get unconditional offers in less than 1week(except Ph.D). Ensure you correlate the course you have chosen to its relevance in the oil and gas industry.( That's usually the first question the profs in the panel will ask).

Each grade has a specific point assigned to it.so A1>B2, B2>B3.....and so on.

It's not an issue. You will still need to go with the original certificate for screening on the day of your interview. However, you get more marks for O level if you have A1s or B2s in five relevant subjects.

My sister, I have told people that care to listen that NDDC foreign scholarship is the biggest scam in the world. I have been there twice.. I aced the test very well( most questions were secondary school physics and 200l engineering questions), performed well at the interview. When it got to current affairs question, they asked me to mention the president of China...I got the first name(Xi) but had forgotten the last name. The slots have been shared.. why don't they post the names of shortlisted candidates, then post the name of awarded scholars so that we can cross-reference. We should stop applying for this mirage scholarship ..let them take all the slots...most of us are coming from lagos, abuja etc and they recompense us with a meagre 15k.. na only this year dem give us 30k..The corruption in nddc is infectious and ineffable.
We all are from the Niger Delta and we shouldn't condone this height of injustice. After dem go say their mandate is to help indigent people from the niger delta. NA LIE.... pre departure briefing didn't hold last year after people got success mails.. then I heard that nddc had surreptitiously sent their candidates overseas.. WE ALL SHOULD STOP APPLYING FOR THIS CRAP.
