After my offer, I submitted utility bill, bank statement, DV, Covid-19 card, immunization card, TB, PCC, HSC level 3 (lptc cert), First aid cert, and Neco (statement of comparability by Ecctis)

As in them won choke me but God dey. However na NHS band 3

Offer received Feb 17

I will advise you to calm down, with that response am 99% sure they will get back to you soonest. However don't stop applying to other jobs.

they requested for so many documents from me after they sent my offer letter . Utility bills, proof of adress, bank statements and all of a sudden stopped replying my mails .

The last mail i got was before easter holidays saying the head of recruitment wasn’t on seat. However since then, no follow up to my mails.

I will stop sending anyways and look out for other jobs.

When I got my offer, my employer was not talking about CoS, but they are just requesting for documents as if I dey UK. Imagine I was asked to provide right to work in UK before I could get unconditional offer. I sent an email (X3) asking them what are there relocation package since am an international applicant and that I will also require CoS to process my right to work. Las las them replied, My matter was transferred to international recruitment dept.

Boom! I secured the bag .

CoS will roll in by next mark my words.

Please send emails requesting why the delay unless you are told to wait ''patiently'' to be contacted.

What I learnt is that if we are desperate about this job it will Send wrong signal to the agency or homes. Like my case I waited for some of them untill dey told me to send mail to a particular person on how I stand out for the job. I just sent 1 out of six and will send others nx week. Let's be calm most especially if we are qualify for the job. Thx u

Of cos, NHS always offer sponsorships for band 3 jobs and above. They're pretty difficult to get into though and more fast-paced, even though they don't pay as much as care homes. People mostly only like them because they make their CVs look good and they give women as long as one year for omugwo time out...but that's it. Work your way up steadily in a care home, arming yourself with the right trainings and you could be a manager someday and earn as much as 85k pounds per annum. Nobody in care earns that much in the NHS, trust me.

The advantage of NHS over care home is that, you won't have to pay nhs surcharge fees but the work load can be a lot and it's not as flexible as care homes.

NHS can only give COS for band 3 salaries and above. HCA is band 2 salary. I did two interviews with different nhs and I passed but they couldn't offer me sponsorship. I'm already living in England o

I watched almost all Richard McMunn videos the night before the interview, in fact i didn't sleep till after 4 in the morning. But all those Richard McMunn's, introduce yourself, what are your strengths and weaknesses, your skills etc didn't come out at all.

The girl went straight to clinical scenarios. Though I'm a health worker, I've not encountered almost all of those scenarios she asked.

I will follow students route. The goal is still the UK anyways. Just that i don't have enough money for Studies

You guys need to calm down with the rush for Certificate of Sponsorship. As long as you have been offered the job and you have accepted, CoS will eventually come. My CoS came after 4 months of accepting the offer because they wanted to conclude all the necessary checks.

All you need to do is start preparing all other documents needed to apply for Visa, especially PoF, should in case your sponsor does not provide maintenance.

If you have had an interview and you haven't gotten a response, wait for 1 (or 2) week(s), then send a follow up email. You should get a response to know where you stand.

The interview is on 9th of March.

I can't possibly be in the UK on 9th to do the interview. I've not even been there before.

Because of the series of rejections i stopped applying since 2nd of February. I don't even check their emails again when i get email notifications from NHS. But i just opened one yesterday and it's an invitation for interview.

I've really suffered trying to apply. I almost developed Blood pressure, you know. I don't want this first interview to pass me by. I want to prepare the very best way i can.

The main question is how i can get them to switch from physical interviews to online interviews.

Keep trying, NEVER GIVE UP. I know someone who has done 4 interview without success, whereas I got mine on 1st interview after over 40 applications. You didn't get the job because there's someone more qualified than you. Keep improving yourself and keep improving your CV on Trac jobs. As long as they keep shortlisting you, you're very much qualified. Your Good News is on the way.
