RomanceHelp: I Can't Stop Having Sex With My Father - Nkechi by drauj(op): 8:24am On Oct 06, 2015
My name is Nkechi . I live at Obollo Afor in Udenu LGA of Enugu State with my father. For security reason, I may want to hide some other details as I do not want my father to be arrested. All I need are good words on how to get myself out of what my father dragged me into.
My mother died 10 years ago and since then, father has not remarried. Many have ignorantly commended him for having endured for this long. But the truth is that he has practically turned me to his wife. I had tried very hard to make him see reason why he should stop the sacrilegious act of sleeping with me, but he was adamant.
It all started few months before I gained admission into UNN to study Mass Communication. While I was preparing to leave the house, my father who is a popular businessman walked up to me in my room and handed me an envelope containing my school fees and other things that I had requested. I excitedly embraced dad who held unto me for a very long time. I managed to pull myself off his arms. It is difficult to say exactly what daddy told me, but it was obvious that he wanted to have me on bed.

That same night, the thought of daddy’s advances kept ringing on my head, and just as I was thinking, daddy came into my bedroom, forced me on bed. My elder brother was around but had no idea as it was too much an embarrassment to shout over what daddy was doing to me. Of course, he succeeded, and I left home the next money to Nsukka.
The summary is that since then, daddy has made it a culture to visit me in school. Even though I refused to show him where was staying initially, he said he was only looking for the place to apologize. Unfortunately, that marked the beginning of constant and continued sexual relationship between daddy and I.
I’m done with my studies, yet we can’t stop having se.x. I think I now enjoy having se.x with my father.
The hatred for him has suddenly declined, and I’m the one who is now jealous. I don’t even want to see any woman around him since I got back from school. Sometimes, it pricks me that what we are into is highly sacrilegious, but such thought would only last for few minutes. Daddy is even more reserved and careful than I’m. I think I now have a big problem. How do I get out of this? Can this confession even help me when I keep battling with myself over this matter? What do I do please? I need help!

PoliticsEl-rufa'i Speaks At The World Teacher's Day Summit. by drauj(op): 6:22pm On Oct 05, 2015
Teachers are the critical enablers of learning
Remarks by the Special Guest of Honour, Malam Nasir El-Rufai, Governor of Kaduna State, at the World Teachers’ Day celebration, Kaduna, 05 October 2015
I am most delighted to join you in today’s celebration of the World Teachers’ Day. Education is a priority agenda for our government which is committed to providing quality education, in decent schools, taught by skilled teachers. The quality and capacity of teachers determine whether our schools can actually build human capital, rather than just be places that occupy a few years in the lives of our children. Teachers are the critical enablers of learning, and we join in acknowledging and celebrating the vital contributions that they make.
The theme of this year’s celebration, Empowering Teachers, Building Sustainable Societies, is very apt. It captures the connection between the exertions that teachers make and the progress of society. Our government has taken steps to ensure that the prestige and dignity of teachers is restored. We recently directed the release of a circular to clarify that henceforth, teachers can rise to Grade Level 17, and enjoy the benefits available to Permanent Secretaries. This reflects our policy conviction that as professionals, teachers should be able to climb the career ladder without having to abandon teaching.
We are also working to boost the number of teachers in our schools. The process of recruiting about 2226 teachers of English and the Sciences would soon be concluded. We have also undertaken a process of skills assessment for current teachers so that we can design a system of training that plugs the skills gap and reinforces current strengths. It is clearly unproductive to do nothing about a system that has both a shortage of teachers and a high proportion of unqualified teachers.
As you are aware, we have recently declared a state of emergency in the education sector. That is intended to enable us implement extraordinary measures to reform the Education Sector without being impeded by bureaucratic hospitals. Among the key objectives to be attained in the Emergency period are the delivery of school repairs, furniture, the recruitment of new teachers and the completion of a training schedule for current teachers.
I wish you a happy celebration of the World Teachers’ Day. The government looks forward to the continued cooperation and support of the teaching workforce in delivering better outcomes in the education sector for the sake of our children.
Thank you for listening.

Absolute Fact.
Three categories of people antagonise the move:

1. The crooks that claim subsidy payments illegitimately;

2. The swarm of the Wailing wailers association of Nigerian that want corruption to continue under PMB so they can justify the happenings under the Postulant of the Goat and Yam theory. God forbid.

3. The Goats that ate all the Yams in the barn during the said regime, in order to cover their hoof prints in the barn especially now that one of the big Goats has been apprehended and there are fear she's gonna bleat out he accomplice he/she Goats.

PoliticsNigerian Brings Out Manhood On London Train, Releases Sperm On Passenger- Metro. by drauj(op): 1:19pm On Oct 04, 2015
A Nigerian man has been apprehended and charged with sexual assault after pulling down his pants, bringing out his joystick, masturbating and releasing sperm on a woman, police in the United Kingdom said.

The 32-year-old man identified as Peter Fabiyi has been sentenced to serve 4 years in prison after pleading guilty to one count of sexual assault.

Excerpt from Mail:

A man has been jailed after masturbating and then ejaculating on a female train passenger.

Peter Fabiyi, 32, of Exmouth Road, Walthamstow, London, approached the woman on a London Underground train in July last year.

Fabiyi was noticed by the victim, in her 20s, standing with his trousers undone as the train left Elephant and Castle station in central London.

He then performed the sex act while they were both alone in the carriage.

The victim then pushed past him and frantically fled to another carriage, before telling another passenger what just happened.

PoliticsAnxiety Over Ministerial Screening - Leadership by drauj(op): 11:57am On Oct 04, 2015
Senate president, Bukola Saraki, will on Tuesday, read out the names of the ministerial nominees and screening may commence this week or next. JONATHAN NDA- ISAIAH writes about the politics that may accompany the screening

The wait is over, President Muhammadu Buhari sent the names of the ministerial nominees to the Senate late Wednesday and inline with Senate tradition, the names will not be read until Tuesday in plenary. President Buhari had severally reiterated that he will choose competent people as ministers to steer the ship of the country forward.

LEADERSHIP Sunday recalls that President Buhari had during his visit to United States of America in July told journalists that he will name his cabinet members in September, a promise he further repeated in Ghana mid last month to the effect that Nigerians will know his ministers by the end of September.

According to him, the procedure for handing over to his government by the immediate past administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan contributed to the delay in the appointment of cabinet members.

Buhari who made this explanation in a nationwide address broadcast noted that he was not unaware of the anxiety and heat generated both home and abroad by the delay in appointing his ministers.

He also hinted that he was yet to complete the nomination of ministers, saying he would forward additional names to the Senate for confirmation in due course.

“Anyway, the wait is over. The first set of names for ministerial nominees for confirmation has been sent to the Senate. Subsequent lists will be forwarded in due course. Impatience is not a virtue,” the president stated.

Explaining the delay in ministerial appointments, President Buhari restated that his administration inherited a plethora of problems that are urgently seeking to be quickly addressed if the country must move forward in terms of growth and development.

He said, “Fellow Nigerians, there has been a lot of anxiety and impatience over the apparent delay in the announcement of ministers. There is no cause to be anxious. Our government set out to do things methodically and properly.

“We received the handing over notes from the outgoing government only four days before taking over. Consequently, the Joda Transition Committee submitted its report on the reorganisation of federal government structure after studying the handover notes.

“It would have been haphazard to announce ministers when the government had not finalized the number of ministries to optimally carry the burden of governance.

“Order is more vital than speed. Careful and deliberate decisions after consultations get far better results. And better results for our country is what the APC government for change is all about.”

A new twist to the ministerial screening may brew from the cracks in the relationship between the Senate and the executive. Saraki’s trial at the Code of Conduct Tribunal over alleged falsification of assets is seen as a witch-hunt from the presidency over his emergence of as Senate president against the wishes of his party.

Screening of ministerial list by the Senate is judged by many as praise singing as some senators from the nominee’s state usually give glowing speeches about the nominee and usually beg their colleagues not to ask too many questions. In a case where the nominee has been a member of the National Assembly he is asked to just take a bow and go or if the nominee is a chieftain or prominent member of the ruling party, he takes a bow and go.

However, the Senate has warned that the screening of the ministerial nominees will no longer be business as usual adding that the practice of nominees “taking a bow and go” will no longer be tolerated.

Senate Ad Hoc Committee Chairman on Media and Publicity Dino Melaye made this new Senate position known to Senate correspondents.

According to him, the Senate is waiting for the ministerial list and as soon as they get the list they will start working expeditiously and judiciously on the list.

“Screening of the ministerial nominees will no longer be business as usual, era of take a bow is gone, we will make sure all the nominees will be screened, irrespective of political, ethnic and regional consideration.”

Also in his welcome address to the senators, the Senate president appealed to his colleagues that once the ministerial list is submitted, let them ensure that they treat it with dispatch and thoroughness.

He said “we await the list of ministerial nominees this week, I believe the presence of ministers will create the space for greater policy engagement with the Executive Arm of government and enable us to begin to respond in a more systematic manner to the various economic and social challenges before us, especially through our various committees that will also be constituted soon.

“On this note, I want to urge you all my colleagues to ensure that what is uppermost in our minds as we begin the constitutional task of screening of ministerial nominees is the overall interest of our country, informed by the enormity and the urgency of the challenges before us.

“We must not be held down by unnecessary politicking. The enormity of our national challenges at this time does notgive room for pettiness or politics of vendetta.”

LEADERSHIP Sunday checks reveal that the list contains the names of the group managing director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Dr. Ibe Kachikwu; former governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Fashola (SAN); former Rivers governor, Chibuike Amaechi; former Ekiti governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi; and a former chief of army staff, Lt.-Gen. Abdulrahman Dambazzau (rtd.)

Also former governor of Anambra State, Senator Chris Ngige; a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Ogbonnaya Onu from Abia State; national publicity secretary of the APC, Alhaji Lai Mohammed from Kwara State; Senator Udo Udoma (SAN) from Akwa Ibom State; and special adviser to the UN Secretary General on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Ms. Amina J. Mohammed.

Others include the APC governorship candidate in Taraba State, Senator Aisha Alhassan; former national legal adviser of the defunct Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), Alhaji Abubakar Malami (SAN) from Kebbi State; Senator Hadi Abubakar Sirika from Katsina State; a governorship candidate in Oyo State, Alhaji Adebayo Shittu; and the immediate past commissioner for finance in Ogun State, Ms. Kemi Adeosun.

The remaining names will be submitted to the Senate president before the close of plenary on Tuesday.

Monitors reveal that the Senate may want to get back at the executive with the screening. Nominees of APC chieftain Bola Tinubu may find it difficult to pass the screening according to some sources who believe he is one of the arrow-heads behind the crisis in the Senate.

Amaechi may also find his screening difficult as there are reports that his relationship with the Senate president has deteriorated in the last few months.

It remains to be seen how the Saraki will handle the screening, if he will extract his own pound of flesh or if politics will be shelved aside. Only time will tell.

PoliticsBuhari's Ministers: The Rules Of Engagement - J J Omojuwa. by drauj(op): 11:43am On Oct 04, 2015
We will meet our new ministers later this week. Do not expect new names, that would be expecting too much and stretching idealism beyond commonsense. As much as Buhari himself would love to deliver a depoliticized list, politics will always feature in these things. It is the reality of governance in Nigeria and it is a fact that would stay on the menu of the pragmatism that Nigeria must live with for a while. It would not be about the ministers as it would be about how we the citizens define the rules of engagement, keep them on their toes, raise our level of expectations and stop excusing mediocrity and failure.

What do we want out of our ministers? Take the ministry of the FCT for instance, whoever becomes the minister over there has his or her work cutout. Abuja has become a mess and its glory continues to wane with every new day. When was the last time this city was fumigated? When was the last time anyone paid attention to the master plan? What happened to those parks and green areas? Why is the transportation in this supposedly well-planned city so chaotic? How come after 8 years of Nasir El-Rufai’s tenure, the “El-Rufai buses” remain a reference point for mass transportation in this city?

Forget corruption for a minute, those who ran this city since 2007 deserve should go to jail for what they did to this city. I have no apologies for that; executive incompetence should be a crime. If you can’t do the job, refuse to take it or take it and resign. At least you get referred to as a former minister, “the one that resigned.” Better that than the disasters we have had as FCT ministers over the last 8 years. The very last one, Bala Mohammed was a disaster of tsunamic proportions. This city needs redemption and restoration; the next minister should be brave enough to get that going. It is time to step on toes again. It would not be enough to target the poor masses in the shacks; the job should begin with the rich people who have since bastardised the master plan.

The minister of education has his/her job cutout. Our education system is a systemic joke. It is a thing of generational shame to see Nigerians run to Uganda, Kenya, Ghana even Sudan to acquire tertiary education. There are even Nigerian students in Ghanaian polytechnics. We spend over N200 billion/year on paying school fees in Ghana. Is that not a shame? What is so difficult with developing an educational system that works for everyone? Why are our schools still teaching courses that prepare students for the jobs of the 1960s? Are we still training Nigerians to take over from the colonialists? Do we need a messiah to land from the skies to show us the mess that is our education system? Why do we keep running the system as though it’d change somehow? It cannot change automatically; we need to be intentional about changing the paradigm of education in Nigeria.

Nigerians are living without health insurance. Our compatriots die like chickens of diseases that are curable. Maternal mortality this side of the world remains one of the highest, child mortality numbers are disgraceful. The minister to manage this space must get it straight right away; something has to shift. We cannot run the system the same way. We burn time and billions of dollars on medical tourism to India. A governor built a world-class hospital in his state and commissioned same in May of 2015, by August of 2015 he was flown abroad to get treatment after an accident. Suddenly, the world-class hospital in Akwa Ibom had become farther than that in the UK. These expensive jokes must stop!

We are a country of 160 million people! We have no business finishing outside the top 10 of the Olympics medal table, we have no business not finishing first in the All Africa Games every 4 years and we have no business not having competitive teams in at least the sports we currently care about. This country is underserving itself and it is shortchanging its destiny. We’d create millions of jobs via sports development, attract foreign investment and build Africa’s most virile and most competitive sport industry. If only we just try.

There is a lot to touch on but for space; but it is clear enough, we need a shift. Our incoming ministers must know that this is not a tea party. If you are not competent enough for whatever portfolio you are chosen to handle, resign before you take the job. There will be more shame if you take the job and fail.

PoliticsNigerians Won't Stone The Jamra(devil) Again - SLS by drauj(op): 7:38pm On Oct 03, 2015
NIGERIA’S Amirul Hajj and Emir of Kano, Alhaji Muhammad Sanusi II, on Friday night said Nigerians will no longer participate in the stoning of devil ritual, except they get accommodation close to Jamrat, where the exercise will take place.‬

‪The Emir’s reaction followed the recent stampede in Saudi Arabia that killed several pilgrims, including about 70 Nigerians.‬

‪He also reiterated his earlier position that blacks, particularly Nigerians were not responsible for the stampede.‬

‪The Emir, who quoted several verses of the Qur’an, said refusal to perform the stoning of devil ritual does not in any way invalidate one’s pilgrimage.‬

‪He said, “During the era of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), he permitted pilgrims who came on camels to stay in Makkah after Arafat, instead of staying in Mina and sleeping at Muzdalifa.‬

‪“So, if the Prophet can give such grace to some people, just to protect their animals, why didn’t our scholars educate our people properly to avoid this untoward hardship and death?‬

‪“Therefore, it will be part of my recommendation to the Federal Government that, if we cannot get accommodation close to Jamrat where the Arabs reside in Mina, then this year may be the last time we will sleep in Mina and Muzdalifa because we want to stone the devil.‬

‪“If one deliberately refuses to perform the stoning of the devil ritual, all he needs to do is just to slaughter a ram. So, if this is the situation, why do we go and suffer and die instead of sacrificing a ram.”

Politics50 French Coys To Visit Nigeria And Meet With Buhari - Leadership by drauj(op): 6:10pm On Oct 02, 2015
A delegation of 50 heads of French companies are expected to visit Nigeria next week to explore business opportunities and establish bilateral links in the country, the French Embassy said on Friday.

A statement from Georges Vanin, First Counsellor, Political Affairs and Communication, Embassy of France, said the business delegation was the first of its kind from France to any African country.

The statement said the delegation was organised by the Movement of the Enterprises of France (MEDEF), France’s leading network of entrepreneurs and the largest employer federation with 800,000 member firms.

According to it, the French companies on the delegation include those in the sectors such as building, transportation, environment, energy and sustainable cities.

“The largest economy and the largest population on the continent, the middle class is emerging in Nigeria, which demand new infrastructures facilities and equipment, but also in services and leisure.”

The statement quoted Mr Pierre Gattaz, President of MEDEF, as saying Nigeria is a land of investments and development for French businesses.

“Nigeria is a land of investments and development for French companies. Africa is our new frontier.

“We are friends and have much to gain by building strong, confident and sustainable business relationships.

“Although France has much to contribute to Africa, but Africa has so much to bring to France,” Gattaz said.

It added that Gattaz would lead the delegation of the 50 companies – small, medium or large – interested in the many opportunities of the Nigerian market.

The statement said Gattaz would lead the delegation to meet President Muhammadu Buhari on Oct. 5 before meeting with the business communities.

It quoted Mr Patrick Lucas, President of the African Committee and Vice-President of MEDEF, as saying that close bilateral relations would be forged between the delegation and the Nigerian counterparts.

“We are excited to lead that delegation in a large English-speaking African country.

“Development opportunities for our businesses are significant and we hope that close bilateral links will be established during our trip to Nigeria,” Lucas said.

The statement said the trip would be an opportunity for many exchanges and meetings with all the representatives of the Nigerian society.

“MEDEF delegation wishes through this to build strong relations with this great country by promoting deals emphasis staff training and local contents,” it said. (NAN)

1. 2011 - 13 Billion Naira
2. 2012 - 15 Billion Naira
3. 2013 - 14 Billion Naira
4. 2014 - 22 Billion Naira
5. 2015 - 70 Million Naira

The senate this morning began its sitting without senate president Bukola Saraki reading the much awaited ministerial list. The tradition in the senate has always been that any communication from the President is read before the commencement of proper legislative business but that did not happen as Senator Bukola went straight into legislative matters.

The minority leader of the senate Godswill Apakbio observed the abnormal and immediately raised a point of order.
“The President had promised to announce his ministerial nominees today and the Senate President has finished reading the days announcements without it, why?,” Akpabio said.
The senate president however did not reply him. Senate leader, Bala Ibn Na'Allah said the legislative day had not elapsed and so more everyone should be patient. The house is still in session.
