My grouse is with a 'funny' comment that Covenant is better than OAU! It is laughable. There's, for now, no basis for comparison. My job spec makes it impossible for me not to understand d standard of our uni's. Although no Nigerian Uni deserves any special commendation, there are 3 or 4 Uni's that still churn out good grads.

I'm still waiting for that boy's reply.

I believe and accept every part about them going for further studies abroad due to exposure but for the part which has to do with brain capacity, I still maintain my stand that they are dullards! Say for a few that might be exceptionally brilliant amongst them.

I work in a company that has over a thousand plus in staff strenght and if we segregate by school, CU has a hand full. If you compare what they do with others, you'll be appalled.

It might seem like am beefing but I have to take statistics from what I see daily and the ones in my work place are just a bunch of zeros

God wants us to do all that you mentioned. Im a very strong advocate to that fact. Its sad that most christians have ignored that. However God can ask someone to build a school, although we have to be careful here because some of these men of God might just be doing it to enrich their pockets. Its very difficult to judge these issues because we are not God who may or may not have told them to start schools neither are we the men of God. What we can do is pray to God to expose the fake pastors who are into this to make profit. Have a good life sis.

Every church doesnt even own a school. There are a few churches that do. And its unrealistic to use church money solely to run a school. The private university i attended has its school fees but from what i understand there was still money entering from the church because it wasnt enough and they dont want to increase fees. Using a scenario of a dad and his kids is not the best scenario here.

Can you tell me where in my statement i insulted you? I only asked a simple question yet u said i need deliverance and im brainwashed when clearly you know nothing about me. Anyway Its a good thing that you give to the poor and its something christians need to start doing more so i commend that. However i dont think any true pastor would decieve or trick members into giving money to the church.Its biblical to give money to the church as it needs money to run. Also if a man of God is told by God to start a university which can happen and has happened severally, then that same God would provide him with money to start the school. Thank you and God bless.

Nothing good comes cheap. For the required facilities the school would need it might be expensive to maintain. Would it now be wise to build a school with good facilities that are expensive to maintain with good lecturers and so on and then charge it cheap in the name of making their members afford it? The school would now close down due to lack of funds ? Is it that one you prefer?

Pastor Kumuyi will have nothing to do with the school. He wouldn't be either the Chancellor or Vice-Chancellor.

Firstly,Oyedepos message is on faith,not prosperity. In fact prosperity is a rare teaching from the man. Secondly, how do you know Oyedepo isn't preaching to those so called evil politicians? I have heard him criticize some openly,but just because he doesn't do it often doesn't mean he doesn't do it. Also the media has always twisted what the man says openly about politics in order to sell papers, meanwhile tarnishing his reputation, like the one that happened with Goodluck Jonathan last year. Also I believe it is very scriptural to be prosperous. What happened to Abraham , isaac, Job, David, Solomon?? There's nothing wrong with God blessing you and enriching you.Jesus didn't say that the man wouldn't inherit the kingdom with his wealth, he said it would be more difficult. Also study the bible well, Jesus had a house. It is possible to serve God and be exceedingly rich. Job proved it.

I was posted to a predominantly Muslim state in the north central. That state is very peaceful despite the fact that its in the north. Immediately I got posted there everyone my parents knew started expressing fears. To cut it short they redeployed me back to the state we live in out of fear of what isn't there. I tried to convince them that they were wrong about Muslims but I eventually lost the argument as the news coverage of ISIS attacks,Boko Haram,Al shaabab and all the countless Islamic terrorist groups came up. If you the peaceful ones don't speak up the violent ones will drown the world with their evil message. The sad truth remains that a lot of people are afraid of Muslims because of the present day evils. If more people hear from you how peaceful your religion is, maybe they might not be so fearful after all.
