drbre:It's really condescending to be engaged in a war of words with a 25 year upstart blogger ( an euphemism for jobless) like you. The jury is out on you. The very essence of nature works in haste to bring about your sudden demise. You no longer can hide under the guise of an online troll to trespass. Even in a jungle, the wise still observes the code. Be afraid when you step out in Port Harcourt, your destruction comes in a swift wave. I'm dropping these lines so that the likes of you maybe sufficiently warned. For you it's over. You have one way out though, change your name from Katherine Obasi. |
Trina0936:You really need to grow up. Your line of reasoning and choice of words has shown you to be an irredeemable asshole. It will take half an effort to strike at buffoons like you. Your name is out there KATHY OBASI..Therefore watch your shadows cos a pestilence lurks around you. Tragically it will not only consume you but your entire clan. |
Trina0936:I just pity whoever gave birth to you, Kathy Obasi. Your days are numbered. |

U spotted an error due to auto correct which spelt ilks as ills and there you are gloating, meanwhile half idiots would have experienced auto correct on their devices before. I don't indulge in needless cowardice, its actually a waste of time dignifying you with a response. Go and get some home training, that's if you have parents, which from my prognosis, you do not. |
Drabeey:On point there |
Ada9103:Right Ada. Reality bites hard. But we should remain hopeful. The minister of Finance was on air @ NigeriaInfo some minutes ago....With objectivity, we shall surely navigate this bend. |
Ada9103:You are very right Ada. But I guess d baby should have said "till d price reduces". Just listened to the minister of finance on Nigerian Info...there's a reason to hope for the better. We just have to stay objective. Peace |
Trina0936:Trading words with you is a complete waste of time. If u have half a brain, u would have done some background check to clear your doubts. All you readily resort to is name calling and hurling abuses. That's the trademark of your ills. Not surprised. |
We can deduce the intricacies of an average ibo man's egocentric nature by analysing the words of Chinua Achebe in his book titled " There was a country". He described the Igbo, who are predominantly Catholic, as “fearing no god or man", was “custom-made to grasp the opportunities, such as they were, of the white man’s dispensations. And the Igbo did so with both hands.” This tells that the igbos are a largely disrespectful people. They have no loyalty to God or man. What happened to "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow his precepts have good understanding. To him belongs eternal praise." Ps 111:10 . To have no fear of God is to ignore His Word. To have no fear of man is to incur wrath and hate. Remember that fear in this contest is not timidity but reverence. There's a world of difference in between the two. No wonder a man can dare to name a dog after a sitting president..in Africa! No reverence. Let's delve further into what Achebe had to say about his kinmen. He criticised them for what he described as “hubris, overweening pride and thoughtlessness, which invite envy and hatred or even worse that can obsess the mind with material success and dispose it to all kinds of crude showiness.” He added that “contemporary Igbo behavior(that) can offend by its noisy exhibitionism and disregard for humility and quietness. Alas, this is all revealing. We shouldn't be further surprised. However, the humanity in all of us should be the victor in this . The Ibo man is innately arrogant. They should learn that nature by law propagates itself by survival of the fittest and until they learn how to strategise effectively in the Nigerian state, the will continue to bear the brunt. Every human is desirous of having the upper hand against his competitor, the one who succeeds is stronger and to be stronger you need a superior way of thinking other than shallow arrogance and pride. Once more, Achebe's narratives “Although the Yoruba had a huge historical and geographical head start, the Igbo wiped out their handicap in one fantastic burst of energy in the twenty years between 1930 and 1950.” What happened thereafter, according to Mr Achebe “Nigeria’s pathetic attempt to crush these idiosyncrasies rather than celebrate them is one of the fundamental reasons the country has not developed as it should and has emerged as a laughingstock,” he claimed. He noted that the ousting of prominent Igbos from top offices was a ploy to achieve a simple and crude goal. He said what the Nigerians wanted was to “get the achievers out and replace them with less qualified individuals from the desired ethnic background so as to gain access to the resources of the state.” This is called SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST. Big fish kills smaller fishes. To the few reasonable ibos ( I know they exist) I say THINK, PLAN, STRATEGISE, then you can change your lot in the Nigerian entity. Refuse to follow the innate pride and shallow pettiness. Think your way to success. Peace |

I have experienced more than 24 hrs uninterrupted power supply in my neighbourhood in the past one week. An average of 21 hours per day is now a guarantee. DISCLAIMER Don't expect the same experience if you live in the back towns. |
Missonas:I praise the sincerity and objectivity of your post. Maybe you didn't read my adjuncts and thus you asked how we were reportedly a growing economy one year and d next, due to a change in government, we were plunged into recession. I will still ask that you read the adjuncts in my post, the answers which u seek are there. Suffice to say, consider this... 'Although stabilization funds exist, the federal government has struggled to replenish them, despite high oil prices." That's d submission on Jonathan's economic legacy. If d FG under Jonathan had replenished stabilization funds in a period when there was high oil prices (US$100), the nation would have had somewhat a safety net to revert to presently when there is global recession with oil prices pegged below US$30. Talking about external debts, isn't it curious that GEJ ( now a hero) kept plunging d nation to external debts? Do you realise that the debt is being serviced and all this at even a higher cost cos of d recession? In all of this, the present government remains optimistic that we shall navigate this bend successfully. You may consider listening to Mrs Kemi Adeosun's submissions while disbursing funds to states at the end of July. The non oil sector accounted for over 55 percent of the revenue. This is the change and there is light at the end of the tunnel. I empathise with all citizens, I also feel the brunt of the present reality. Afterall I buy fuel and visit d markets. However, as enlightened minds we should know where the blame really is and not be blinded by sentiments. Peace |
Reading comments on this forum could be very nauseating. Where did we get it wrong as a people? The bandwagon praising Jonathan and heaping all sorts of abuse on Buhari. It's crystal clear that most of you need an education. And if the calibre of people here are the supposed leaders of tomorrow, then Nigeria is doomed. I need all of you on the GEJ bandwagon to point out two things. 1.What was the policy direction of GEJ which is worthy of commendation? 2. What is the policy direction of Buhari that is responsible for the economic recession? If you can't provide a logical analysis, please shut your mouth up, going forward. One thing which your biased mind can't appreciate is the fact that GEJ is largely responsible for the mess we are in. Read up Public debt: Public debt stock is much higher than at any time since the Paris Club debt exit of 2006. In 2007, total public debt fell to N2.678 trillion ($3.56billion external debt from $36b, and N2.2trillion domestic debt). But as of end 2013, public debt has increased by more than 300 percent to N8.423trillion ($8.2b external, and N7.1 trillion domestic). (Figure 3). If AMCON debt and other agencies are included, the total debt burden is now over N10 trillion. By end of 2014, Nigeria’s total debt should easily approach over $100b, most of which were accumulated in the past 6 years. Given the well-established negative correlation of debt and economic growth, how has growth been so strong? Foreign reserves: Nigeria’s foreign reserves have followed a pattern similar to the other indicators since the beginning of civilian rule. In the Obasanjo and Yar’Adua periods, reserves high enough to finance, on average over 7 and 10 months of imports respectively. However, in the six years of President Jonathan, it has declined to about 6.3 months of imports. (Figure 4). When compared with other oil exporting African countries, in the first two periods, Nigeria’s foreign reserve accumulation was stronger than those of other countries. However, in the recent period, Nigeria is just about catching up with others. Although stabilization funds exist, the federal government has struggled to replenish them, despite high oil prices. This is how Jonathan bequeathed a failed economy. Counter the argument with facts and not irresponsible comments. |
hey ...I read your story and feel your hurt. however, the truth must be told. it takes two to tangle. you can't keep loving someone who is never going to love you. be strong..move on. in doing this, nature abhors vacuums, therefore find an alternative.there are a thousand and one girls out there, even on that dating site. Finally, never make the mistake of going with the woman you love, you will always be a pawn on her chessboard. rather, go for a woman that loves you and you are the king. I got that from a wise old woman. Peace |
holyfather:In my original write up, i made reference to the book..Marriage , Divorce and Remarriage..the author is Kenneth Haggins but there was a mistake with the name, hence the follow up. |
BACKGROUND Any responsible man/woman will make out time for family, no matter how much busy he/she is. PROGNOSIS He is no longer interested but lacks the courage to tell you. He could also be involved with and distracted by another woman. I have been there before. RECOMMENDATION Break up. |

1st Cor 7:15 |
My heart goes out to you, brother. Let us agree on the following. I assume you are a Christian and as such your marriage is a Christian marriage. If so, u will find the following useful : 1. You are married. 2. Your wife has been in contact with someone whose relationship with her predates your marriage. (They must have been seeing each other for her to have his phone number cos mobile phones was introduced around 2000 or so). That means there has been a breach of trust. 3. You have to prayerfully weigh the options. What's more important in your marriage. 4. The devil attacks marriages cos through that he can destroy families, society, nations and ultimately the world. 5. However, you have to make a decision on what's important tpo you and your family. I never supported divorce..but read Kenneth the Haggin's Marriage ,Divorce, and Remarriage for a Christian perspective on divorce. Also, STUDY 1st Cor. 7. Apt in this matter is 1st Cor 7:14. 6. Pray about it and the Lord shall grant you peace. Remember, major on the major things. Shalom |

There remains an infinite grain of goodness in every human. I believe. If the PDP apologists can suddenly see the fraud in Fayose, then we have reasons to remain hopeful. Give a man a fish, you feed him for a day; teach him how to fish and you feed him for the rest of his life. Fayose should please pretend to have some brain. |
thisisayus:Your write up is half baked and in some instances, outright falsehood. An example is the change of currency which was done on 1st Jan 1973..after the war. The Aburi Accord which you refer to has the following resolution "Members agree that the legislative and executive authority of the Federal Military Government should remain in the Supreme Military Council, to which any decision affecting the whole country shall be referred for determination provided that where it is possible for a meeting to be held the matter requiring determination must be referred to military governors for their comment and concurrence. Specifically, the council agreed that appointments to senior ranks in the police, diplomatic, and consular services as well as appointment to superscale posts in the federal civil service and the equivalent posts in the statutory corporation must be approved by the Supreme Military Council. The regional members felt that all the decrees passed since January 15, 1966, and which detracted from previous powers and positions of regional governments, should be repealed if mutual confidence is to be restored. [4]" REASON FOR BREAKDOWN In response to the accord, the federal government promulgated Decree No. 8, which was mainly an embodiment of the accord. The accord finally broke down because of differences of interpretation on both sides. This led to the outbreak of Nigerian Civil War. Going through your partners phone, in my opinion is amoral.its neither right nor wrong. Its d motive with which its done that judtes it right or wrong. I feel compelled to share my story, it mite save someone from a bad relationship. As a young teenager, going through my dad's files and my mom's wardrobe was my pastime. I discovered a lot of family history that i mite never have been told through the habit. When i started having girlfriends, before the days of mobile phones, i usually would checm their bags and purses, not looking for anything, just fiddling. Lately, i had a relationship for more than 2 years, and you can guess that my habit continued and i would check fones. I had grounds not to trust her. Our first disagreement was because i noticed she didn't av any of my pics on her fones. I had countless of hers on all my devices. Stories of network failure would come up if i use her pic as dp and ask dat she uses mine. she self confessed to a dirty past with countless men. That was heart breaking. There was dis colleague (she's a colleague too) that would send romantic messages to her and she claimed there was nothing between them. It turned out she's been screwing him. She later self confessed of the deed which happened when i was out of town and we had a slight disagreement. I forgave her. She got pregnant and aborted it against my wish. Later, we broke up cos i felt the relationship was heading nowhere..she's ibo, am yoruba...she won't introduce me to her people or come for my family functions..a indices of a serious relationship were lacking except sex. after 4 months we made up. I told her i was seeing someone else who did not reside in our cityscapes (with whom i have immediately started having marriage plans...had met the family and all), she said she didn't mind. I asked if she was seeing someone and she said no. I travelled and disengaged with the other lady. The relationship seemed back on track until after abt 3 weeks. I had noticed a flirtatious gesture between her and a newly recruited guy at work who by all standards cannot be a threat to me. I told her of my observation and she denied any possibility, d guy is just being a friend. Days later, she forgot one of her fones at work and asked me to hell her pick it up. I did and opened d fone cos i knew her password. Actually, she is said i shd switch off d fone but i didn't, acting on instincts. I was just checking call logs, pics and all. And so i stumbled on a picture of her and d guy she denied together, in an undeniable posture. I put it to her and who can deny a picture ? Needless to say that was the end of the relationship. She went public with the guy claiming she didn't cheat on me cos we broke up. It turned out she's met guy before his recruitment, before we broke up. Guy was sacked. End of story. Moral Lesson : If i didn't av an evidence frkm her fone, she would have kept on srewing me along guy, and probably many others. If two partners are meant to become one, then there's nothing to hide from each other. |
Jacide:Your ilks need to be educated. Decorum and comportment is a necessity in public space. The administrators of this site should take urgent steps to address this else this laudable forum is reduced to rubbles by the basest of myopic idiots. |

I WILL JUST GIVE YOU THE FACTS AND U DECIDE #1 HE'S CHEATING ON YOU. #2 MOST MEN OUT THERE DO. #3 HE'S NOT SMART TO COVER HIS TRACKS. #4 MOST MEN COVER THEIR TRACKS. #5 IF YOU LEAVE HIM FOR ANOTHER, YOU WILL DISCOVER SAME EVENTUALLY, TIME MAY DIFFER. #6 A WISE WOMAN BUILDS HER HOME.
