The international flight had according to reports, been forced to divert following the actions of the passenger during the Vancouver bound flight on Sunday, May 22, 2016.
Officials have disclosed that the Lufthansa flight had been forced to divert from Munich to Hamburg where the man, who had been behaving increasingly erratically, had been forcefully removed.
Hamburg police confirms that a rescue crew which had included a doctor, had met the man upon arrival at the airport in Hamburg, diagnosing him with a mental disorder.
He was later taken to a local psychiatric facility while the reports also reveal that no active police investigation into the incident have been launched.
Another passenger on the flight identified as Dan Iosch, from Vancouver, told
CBCnews:
"It was reported that there was a man in the back of the plane screaming and yelling and apparently tried to open the back door of the aircraft at 38,000 feet.
"Apparently at the beginning of the flight he was being a little difficult, but they decided to take off.
"I guess once we got in the air he got more and more agitated and he tried to light up a cigarette. He was yelling and screaming."

Well informed minds should clarify, sharing reasons based on facts

There is no basis of comparison.but, medicine gives you an opportunity to specialize in a specific medical specialty.you will be paid during this periods.This can't be said of pharmacy because it's specialisation is not funded and recongnised by the FMOH.It's part of their agitations so far,anyway.

Nah not at all....In the UK where it's practiced it doesn't change u from being a Medical Laboratory Scientist. It only gives you an input in patient management. Ideally dey go for ward rounds with Dr's and based on their knowledge dey refer tests for patients but the Dr still has the final say.
Dat u r a consultant doesn't mean u will start seeing patients and all what not. D Dr still sees the patient and if he feels ur services are necessary he invites you for your own input. But what Nigerian Dr's think is we will start seeing patients and prescribing drugs to dem which is never permitted by law.

well said.but we all know Nigerians.when given the slightest opportunity,they go extra mile.If they must become consultants,they must go through the six years prerequisite training because doctors do not wake one day and declare themselves consultants.

For now we can't be consultants as the Doctors says that title is solely reserved for them only (a lie which a court has cleared) but in due time we'll have consultants as it is in other climes. They said (drs) for us to be consultants we should go through the right channel and a bill to that effect might become law soon.

Yes MLS and Drs in the field of pathology are intertwined dats y u see Dr's as HODs only in teaching hospitals (few). But dat nonetheless we're still young and we're making progress at fast speed. All these anomalies will be put to an end VERY SOON it's only a matter of TIME

But,don't you think this consultancy ish' would erode the well entrenched clinical structures in our hospitals?

am a student of medical laboratory science, currently in 200L and I want to as this, in MlS we have sub specialties

like haematology, medical micro biology, chemical pathology and so on

but I have checked my handbook and I find out that doctors are usually the head of departments of the specialties in my sch teaching hospital

and please can medical laboratory scientists be consultants in a hospital?

For now,the only consultants we have are for the medical/dental professions.pathologists head some of these departments because of their political hegemony.

Not all are paramedicals actually.using paramedical is somehow derogatory. Paramedicals are more of technicians.I think allied' should be more suitable.

This has being there for close to four months.....I have being told by a dentist that it is a CYST or a swollen bag with fluid inside and I might end up undergoing surgery.
pls experts in d house, are there drugs that can dissolve the fluid or any other solutions rather than SURGERY.
