RayRay06677: *DON'T EVER CURSE YOUR COUNTRY*
[Copied, edited by KKCool]
*If you don't know how you are blessed, you will think your father's farm is worse than your friend father's farm.* $1 is ₦500 and so what? Let me elucidate from my little experience. Can anyone in the US use $1 for breakfast? No! But in Nigeria, ₦500 will give you breakfast and lunch.
Majority of people's monthly house rent (self contained apartment) in the USA is $1,000 and above... and that is your own 2 year's rent!
Have you ever paid for insurance before? Insurance in the US is $280 and that is almost ₦100,000 monthly.
When last did you pay monthly phone bills? I pay almost ₦40,000 monthly and if I don't, they are going to block my SIM. Your own MTN can be there for months without recharge.
When last did you work on Saturday and Sunday? This I do compulsorily and on regular basis.
*Don't get me wrong, the US is better than Nigeria, depending on which angle you are viewing it.*
Do you want to hear the truth?
*Many people in Nigeria live a more fulfilling life compared to their counterparts abroad.*
Forget about all the packaging on social media and give credit to the good life you are living.
Do you know why Nigerians living in the US always rush back quickly whenever they come home visiting? Because bills are counting and elongated absence (freedom) will put their lives in jeopardy.
If you, as a black person, attempt to emulate the whites, they will kneel on your neck.
Apart from Congo, no citizens in the entire universe enjoy life to the fullest than Nigerians.
You are abundantly blessed but you don't know until you get visa and relocate abroad, that is when you will know that your 8-hour job in Nigeria with free weekend is awoof. With 8-hour job abroad, you can only pay bills, you need other 6 to 8 hours jobs to save for the future and plan your life.
The truth is that the grass is green everywhere, it's lack of vision greed of our leaders/politicians and the skewed religious practices (which placed emphasis on miracles) that ascended Nigeria onto a myopic tentacle of complete standstill.
*Always thank God wherever you may find yourself. Nigeria is good* is not the same |

teekay2cool: Get off your self righteous horse or simply shut up. You clearly haven't been in this tight situation that's why you are spitting trash.
People making complaints here are obviously suffering from the effects of the pandemic and the loan companies are not being considerate. Nobody said they are not going to pay but the recovery method is just not acceptable considering the circumstance. And loan companies do not have the right to harass you that way, even worse after settling the loan they still beg you to come and take another loan.
A well-planned organisation should always have a contingency plan incase of crisis and pandemic that's why the likes of Carbon and Quickcheck are still thriving.
Loan companies like Carbon and Quickcheck are very professional and put the condition of their clients into consideration, which is why people rush them. Unlike Sokoloan, 9credit and co... they are just outright scavengers.
The way you are talking sounds like a representative of Sokoloan sef You are a thief and a complete idiot |

Bukola Saraki was the CEO of the bank before he became the governor of Kwara State.
Bukola Saraki convinced Okocha to deposit money in his bank and offered him more then the industrial average interest rates.
Be careful of banks that offer you interest rates that are far higher than the average rates
A microfinance bank is currently offering 14% on fixed deposit The useless Bukola saraki and Abdulfatai Ahmed. Awon eyan Hushpuppy |

freeman67: I have noticed that lots of human does not want hear anything if it is not in their favour.. Around February - March this year(2020) there were calls on this thread for people who can to convert their investment to dollar inorder beat the pending devaluation and inflation as a result of the economic situation fuelled by Covid -19. I believe those who could at that time did it and those that think otherwise didn't nobody died. Now there is a contrary call. If you believe you act on it. If you don't, hold your dollar position. You own your dollar and you are also responsible for your decisions.
If at the end of the day it played to your favour, fine. It doesn't, next time you will know what to do. There is no need over flogging it. I never believed this would happen.Sincery we are running a crazy economy |

We do want a sane country, lots need to change in Nigeria but there are good things about Nigeria like community share of responsibility. Like people can easily dash you N5000 when they see you hungry but In a developed country someone who looks hungry doesn't get a dime, there are exceptions though.
You can get through many things in Nigeria.[/quote]Where in Nigeria. |

NIGHTLIFE100: The whole of page 735 was all about I-invest whether it’s legit or not, whether to deal with bank or the app. Personally I won’t invest my hard earned money through I-invest but then everyone is entitled to their opinion, with that being said I’ll please advice everyone to ignore further response on it as there’s already enough message here to decide on.
I need public opinion, I have 8m fixed deposit at the rate of 8.5% that’ll mature may 23 but I’ve been contemplating on terminating and add more to invest in treasury bill at the secondary rate of 11.75% my bank already sent the form but my account officer said I’ll loose 25% of my accured interest if I terminate before maturity do y’all think it’s wise to terminate and invest on Tbills or hold to maturity. Wait till maturity. How many days /tenure are u going for in the secondary market. U have to make a smart and best considering the Capital involved. And lastly, do depend and trust the words of the bankers. |

234ng44uk: I laugh in Chinese. The more money you have, the more greedy you become. By greed I don't mean investment recklessness, just a tendency to want to make more money. You'll always have the next target, and the next, and another next. I'm yet to see anyone with good financial worth crying that he's making too much profit. na so my brother. 9 years ago, I always prayed to God to just give me a little money(100k is even OK). But immediately my eyes opened to money and I knew how powerful money is, I started craving for more. IN Short, Money is like Women, no matter how pretty you girl is, u will still want a prettier one. |
