Nigerians don't really care about their cars. We just want it to move from point A to point B. We don't go to the mechanic when a check engine pops up. We only go when the care stops moving. 90% of cars on Nigerian roads have the check engine light on. In fact, if you go to a technician for the only reason that your check light came on, some technicians will think you are stupid.
I have a basic scanner in my car and I don't joke with the check engine light. I basically stop by the road just to scan if it comes up. It has saved me a ton of headaches. And it cost me less than 5k to buy.
If you love your car, don't joke with the check engine light. How else will the car alert you at the earliest sign of problem?

I was driving home months ago when I noticed the check engine light came up, I branched, told the technician and his response "It's normal, don't worry sir, it won't cause any damage" Omo, I know say waka still plenty for my leg. 😂
I eventually fixed it through another technician and everytime I see the"it won't cause any damage" guy,I always feel somehow.

The seal is most likely not good.
Yesterday, I was able to successfully stop the oil leak after buying another shaft and seal. I am still monitoring and praying the leak doesn't reoccur.
Changed the seal yesterday as well for the driver's side and the leak still persist albeit from the other side after I test drive it so I changed the passengers side seal and it stopped because some have being telling me it's the oil pump inside the gear that's faulty which to me sounds scary.

Hopefully I pray that will be the end of it.

You need to be sure it's the rack that's leaking oo. Currently, am battling with an issue on my 2007 Accord. Sometime ago, I saw oil leak on the floor by the driver side.

I check and saw oil around the tranny and on the beam. Mechanic checked and said steering rack was leaking. We repaired the rack, steering is fine but there is still oil leak. I just tire.

Mech checked again and said there's still oil leak from tranny seal or the tranny cable as the source of the leak could not be ascertained.

Tranny cable seal was checked and it was dry, no leak.
Shaft seal was replaced, there was still oil leak.
Changed shaft seal again with a different mech and trying to assume the first seal wasn't done right, same noni. Tranny is working and selecting fi e, just the oil leak.

Right now, I am just tired and in a fix. The car no just hungry me drive again. The stress too much.

Later dem say I should change the complete shaft that the shaft there is for Civic.

That's the next plan right now. Hoping to do that by this weekend. Called market and they said complete shaft for driver side is 30k.

Please house, what's could be the possible cause of this issue, Abeg ooo

This oil leak of a thing ehn.
I'm currently battling it on my Honda baby boy the gear oil leaked and the guy told me it's from the "Gear oil cup seal" I can't remember the exact grammar so he bought the seal and fixed it, drove for some days and noticed the leakage again from same place.
I'm just tired and I need that car because it's fuel efficient unlike the highlander that drink fuel like water.
Is it that the oil seal he bought is not good enough or what?

Of course after the meetings they let the delegation leave and probably give foreigners time to leave their country

Thanks for the clarification.

Report indicates that the attempted coup in Niger Republic was a result of the President of Niger Mohamed Bazoum removing the Nigerien Army General, General Omar Tchiani as the disgruntled supporters protest on his removal from office.

Since they've announced the close of borders and suspended all institutions what about the Nigerian delegations that was sent there yesterday?
Does that mean they're now hostages?

That is why he is already claiming he was depending on siblings and friends to fend for him, he has sold his properties and he did not have a place to stay for five years and was living in my sister’s house. grin grin grin

So when any court wants to address the case in the UK "I am broke". grin grin grin
LOL, If you think he's broke then you've to rethink,Mr Ben is a very smart individual and a very kind hearted man(That man can go hungry for a stranger to eat,he can empty his pocket just to ease other people affairs, funny enough you will never know he's a big fish until you move closer to him) he's the type that will only tell you what you need to know, no Gucci wears, no flashy cars whatsoever, he keep his stuffs/life away from public as much as he can as I know him to an extent.
I think he already re-marry as he posted some pictures on his whatsapp status few days ago and I'm so happy for him because he deserve it.

How was it solved
I was so absent minded to check the gear oil that very day as I was in a mess and it never comes to mind that the gear oil is very very low(I don't use the car often though).
I just abandoned it that night until this morning when my mind is clear to even do some checking on it.
I bought the gear oil, start the engine, engage the gear in drive and it move without hassle.
Nevertheless, I will be glad if you have some advices concerning the issue.

Good evening Gazzuzz, I noticed this afternoon that my gear don't engage in drive until I rev it for like 5min, same thing happen this night and this time around, it was worse though it engage in reverse effortlessly.
What could be the cause of this? The car in question is 2002 Toyota Rav4.
Problem solved.

I really don't believe in those stuffs not until my third year in the Uni when I went for a fieldwork in one of the border town(Igboho) in Oyo State Nigeria.
There, I met this boy not even up to 20years as I and my colleague were discussing about the mountains in the town, the boy told us he can lift one sizeable mountain with just reciting incantations and we just look at him like a dunce, even laughed at him until this boy do the unthinkable.
He recited some incantations and just like a flash the mountain lifted up a little like hung for some seconds and went down again, I was dumbfounded and till now I just can't comprehend it.
The boy later told us that people do come to his father when they're having legal issues and his old man will do something and hide it under the mountain, he further told us if it's accomplished, that's the end of the legal battle.
It's weird but it's real.

We learn from experiences.
Congratulations to both of you on the arrival of your baby. And please continue to partake in the caring of the child, dont leave all the work for your wife.
If the plan is to exclusively breastfeed, get breast pumps so she can extract her milk and you can feed baby while your wife gets some rest.
Thank you, I do appreciate.

Ok cool. Let her keep breastfeeding to increase her supply. And ensure to feed until all the black poo comes out
Wow, you really know about infants o, you see the black poo of a thing? She excreted it few minutes ago and the innocent soul seems so comfortable afterward.

You can get the baby formula for now, Nan should be fine
Except you and wifey are planning on exclusive breastfeeding, you can also try massaging the boobs with warm water....heard it aids flow too.
Let baby try suckling on the nipples also.
I just noticed right now that she's started lactating though not that much.
What a relief.
Thanks ma'am, I appreciate the efforts of you and sugah.

She'll lactate, just give her time.
Some takes up to two-three days before they lactate.
Let her take pap also, it helps .
Regards to her.
Thank you, pap was suggested and she has being taking it couple with milk.
Just couldn't stand the innocent baby taking only water since yesterday.

Hi mothers, come across this thread and I'm curious as what could be the reason why a new mother couldn't breastfeed her new baby.
In a nutshell, she's a first timer that just gave birth yesterday and milk is not just coming out from her nipples.
Though I was told by the nurse that she will lactate but I'm getting restless here.
Any suggestions on what to do please.

It might be hard for the OP but he will loose all of he leave his bro house, I've been there and I fought it with obedience, meekness and a lot of prayers and material gifts.
My brother wife show me "Shege" Haba, I wan die but bless God the woman today is my best paddy.
I pound yam for her and her siblings, house chores Nko?there was a time I told my bro to his face I will kill his wife.
But here I'm today, enjoying goodies courtesy of the wife.
Good house(Though my bro have various houses but she's the one that told my bro to give me the finest one) infact I'm riding one of his car through my brother's wife as she told him "Give bro A this car nah"
During this lockdown, she will personally go to market, buy foodstuffs for me and bring it to me,funny enough we often jokes about our past differences.
While her sisters are nowhere to be found anymore.
Don't fight her nor her sisters, infact act like an idiot to get what you want from your brother.
