What of Uruguay or Mexico?
Cousin9999:
The UK is changing their whole system to be more like Canada/Australia (points-based) by 2021. Basically, they want to avoid the avalanche of cheap, questionably-skilled Indian labor.

Consider the following:
-Canada needs people (consistent shortages, rural areas, bad weather) and most of the UK doesn't.
-The UK is less racist than Australia. Canada can't really afford to be racist.
-Scotland wants their own separate system or regional programs to address a shrinking, aging population.
-6% of Canadian immigrants are British.
TravelRe: Traveling To Mexico As A First Timer, What I Need To Know by dreaonit: 6:14pm On Jul 29, 2020
Are you in Mexico or you know the route very well? You might be help with some info.
dasparrow:
Right now many countries borders and airports are closed due to Coronavirus. However before Covid-19, one can take Turkish airlines from Nigeria to instabul. Catch another flight from instabul to Panama and then Panama to Mexico. Remember, you're just transiting. You don't need a transit visa for Turkey or Panama as long as you're not leaving the airport. There are no direct flights from Nigeria to Mexico. With Covid-19 plaguing the world right now, I don't know what changes countries and airlines will make.

We've both been to Dubai, she's personally traveled to Benin Republic, Togo and Kenya while I've traveled alone to S.A. and Ethiopia.

Yes, travel history to Ghana and Dubai is ok but I can't assure you cos I don't know what was considered in my case.

I was the primary applicant but we submitted my wife's travel history and her financial state.

Oga Mexico isn't a shithole like naija,Visa free to Canada and almost all the EU Countries ,there are opportunities to transfer to USA as a Student in Mexico , minimum wage is 300$ per month not nobody is making that because they make more than the minimum wage , majority of people crossing self are not Mexicans but other South and central Americans plus the ones crossing are not educated so they can't get better paying jobs in Mexico ..
As a Nigerian if you can find your way there and you're educated bro you're good as the cost of living is low and you'd get paid good but not as much as in the States

Boss God bless you ,I'm a young dude but I've made a lot of research about Mexico cos I plan on going there got a firend who's a citizen there and he tells me everything about what's going on there ...
Aside being Visa free to Canada,it is closer to USA and majority of pples crossing are not Mexican but other Central American citizens plus the educated ones get paid better in Mexico and as a Nigerian with that zeal you will find easy to cross to USA or Canada

The only meaningful thing you can do in Brazil is to teach English, obtain your onsite TEFL certificate and kick start your journey.

Expect 500 USD monthly for a start.

TravelRe: How To Import Goods From Turkey (clothes, Shoes, Bags, Furniture, Steel Doors) by dreaonit: 4:08pm On Mar 17, 2020
iykbethany:
I import from both Vietnam, Turkey, Hong Kong, UK, USA, Germany, Japan, Dubai etc so I am qualified to answer you.

In Asia I prefer Vietnam products especially shoes and clothes than China because Vietnam manufacturers are not ready to reduce quality because most of their products are for USA and EU markets. That does not mean you wont find dishonest people in VN because they are everywhere. If you buy shoes in any shop in Europe or USA it is likely made in Vietnam.

However, Turkey products are superior to Vietnam goods and they are more expensive also. I used to manufacture baby wipes and diapers in Turkey but most Nigerians find them expensive so instead of going to China I now import baby wipes and diapers from Vietnam and the quality is very good and affordable too.

The advantage Turkey has over Vietnam is the fact that Turkey is a much larger and richer country with unlimited products ready for export. Many Nigerian homes you will find made in Turkey POP cement or wall paper or 3D panels, steel doors, curtains, furniture, electronics, tiles, marbles, the list is endless. While in Vietnam is mostly fashion and baby wipes.

QUALITY OF LIFE? Turkey is well-developed country with same infrastructure standard as any rich European country.

Vietnam is third world country but they are seriously developing their infrastructure. Once you land in Vietnam you know you are in a third world country. For example, if you go to church on Sunday or factory over 90% of the people come to work with bicycles because car is damn expensive in Vietnam. Unlike in Turkey where they use latest 2019 Mercedes Benz for uber.

I hope this helps.
Am sure Nigerians are into business/hustle in vietnam too. Fashion and wears are best in vietnam. Turkey has good and popular brands
TravelRe: How To Import Goods From Turkey (clothes, Shoes, Bags, Furniture, Steel Doors) by dreaonit: 3:35am On Mar 17, 2020

Thanks for your update. It so helpful. The most important is ability to work while study and esp during holidays to make some cash.
I look at vietnam as a steeping stone after studies to other countries of choice other than sitting down wasting time.
