You’ll see some girls, it will look like God used materials meant for 20 girls to create only them.
Whereas you’ll see some girls, it will look like God managed scarce materials to create them.

Citigroup is not only in US, they’re a multinational firm. They are even present in Nigeria.

Add up the value in all countries they’re operational, and you have your answer.

I hope you are being sarcastic.

You don’t just print money out of the thin air because your currency will devalue as there’s no scarcity, and will mess your economy up!

Unbelievable. How do you mistakenly post 81 trillion dollars? Who even has 81 trillion dollars?

What's the total net worth of citibank? Perhaps, they mean another currency.
ACCOUNTING 101

That net worth is only the Equity value of the business. We still have Assets and Liabilities to account for that make up part of the $81 trillion(Assets - Liabilities = Equity).

The Liabilities made up most of the $81 trillion because Citigroup is a bank, they have customers’ money with them which is a Liability.
RomanceRe: 'Your Wife Must Not Cook For You' - Bride’s Father Shocks Groom (Photos) by Drella: 7:27pm On Feb 27, 2025

Nigerian men expect women to contribute 50% financial upkeep and 100% domestic upkeep. Bunch of lousy scammers! If she's working and contributing to the family finances and she's unable or unavailable to cook all the time, you arrange your own damn meals. Heaven won't fall!
Off point!!

The father said she mustn’t cook at all.
He should have as well said the groom shouldn’t provide money at all.

Lastly, an average Nigerian woman won’t agree to 50/50 finances.

@1Sharon is a Brit of Nigerian ancestry.
I once had a correspondence with her when she was complaining about how blackmen in the UK were only chasing white women and ignoring the black ones.I then told her if blackmen in the UK do not want black women, then the black women in the UK (especially the ones of Nigerian descent) should travel to Ngr.The blackmen over there will want them. She gave me a wishy-washy response and i kept quiet.
The real issue is abroad based Ngrian women simply do not want home-based Ngrian men because they believe they are beneath them. Its hypergamy at its finest form like someone posted above.
I thought as much. She’s more Brit than Nigerian, hence her skewed perspective about home-based men.

Asides from believing home-based men are beneath them, they also feel the men are motivated to marry them for papers alone, as raised by Sharon.
She has refused to agree to the fact that it’s mostly Nigeria-based women that marry our diaspora men for papers, act up, and dump the men that brought them.

Any Nigerian lady abroad that is serious about marrying should pick from Nigeria. Not only will the men be forever appreciative, there’s a lower probability that he will mess up as it’s a woman’s world over there.

Once again, nobody wants what you're selling.

Mouth like 50%.
I’m not saying it doesn’t exist. It is not just common.

We only hear such cases with naija men who marry extra fat and/or old women which is always obviously for papers.
RomanceRe: Funny Experience With A 9ja Babe Based In The USA by Drella: 2:12pm On Feb 26, 2025
1Sharon:
There is no statistics on this, I'd say it's a tie between them. As much as you all want to cast bringing wives from Nigeria, you conveniently forget men leave as soon as they get their papers. Or you want to pretend you haven't heard stories from that side?

Nobody wants what you're selling oga.

It's better for those single women abroad to remain single than bring any trouble from Nigeria.
In the absence of stats, you look around you.
The average woman GAINS 50% of the man’s worth with a possible monthly child support after divorce.

It’s a win-win for women; you gain papers, alimony, wealth you never worked for, and monthly payments in which not everything will be spent on the kids.

We hear stories and see videos of how women turn monsters immediately their Nigerian husbands bring them over. I have never heard it the other way round.

So because they have their time(for their own nefarious reasons) that makes them the best men? Is that a good man?
Between an abroad-based woman who brings a man from Nigeria AND an abroad-based man who brings a woman from Nigeria, who among the home-based persons have the highest tendency to fall out of love and take 50% of their partners worth after divorce?
RomanceRe: Funny Experience With A 9ja Babe Based In The USA by Drella: 9:36am On Feb 26, 2025
1Sharon:
They only rate them because they see them as an escape route. It doesn't make them good people. You know that.
That doesn’t invalidate what the poster said:
The best men for them na those ones wey dey back home
Because if you were to choose between abroad men that don’t have your time and naija men that will gladly marry you, the choice is obvious.
RomanceRe: Funny Experience With A 9ja Babe Based In The USA by Drella: 7:16pm On Feb 25, 2025
1Sharon:
Lol. You dey sell yourself.
The topic of single women abroad has been overflogged. Everyone knows they aren’t the best catch over there.

Their best bet is to marry from Nigeria because it’s only home-based men that still rate them.
So, he doesn’t need to sell himself. Countless abroad naija ladies need him already.

lieeeeees ... dating a sweet sixteen is even the worse cos the rate of immaturity is alarming. Even a 25 year old lady still has a little bit of immaturity not to talk of 16 years.
A lady matures more than a man. A 23 year old man shouldn’t even date a 23 year old woman. She will be playing him like football.

I guess you meant to say pettiness. If that’s it, every woman is petty, from age 0 to over age 100.

I actually have the same view with him. Nigeria will get better o. It can't continue like this.

Even though I have applied for visa for myself and kids but not sure I can japa if given visa. I love to buy plenty lands and properties first to secure the future of my kids too. I gained admission in Canada and they asked me to pay a deposit of less than 1m to process my visa. The truth is, I lost interest because I'm not an early morning person. I like soft life n I can only get it here in naija.

If you have money, buy properties and keep o before u japa. Let me keep this here
Of course, Nigeria will get better, it’s a matter of when.
It seems like there’s a structure put in place to ensure things worsen after every successive government.
Imagine someone waiting for Nigeria to be better till they grow old and leave the earth.

And yes, it’s good to invest back home. But it’s easier to do when earning abroad and sending the money to Nigeria to buy real estate.
Someone in Nigeria might not be able to afford 30m naira to buy properties in Nigeria. If such person japa and is doing ordinary cleaning or security jobs, such person will afford it.

My advice for you: Go now and use 10-15 years to make as much money as you can, come back to rely on your investments from those monies.

Like I said, you are obviously a child. That is my daughters wardrobe. Or do you think everyone here in this platform is a small boy like you?

Or are you just desperate to highlight your dysfunctional existence where parents engaging in hands on providing for their children is bizarre and fathers are nothing more than atm machines?
For someone who has a teenage daughter, you act a little too immature.
Even your username reeks of pervasion so much that I wonder the morals you have left to inculcate in your daughter.

I can see you’re singlehandedly raising your children. No woman dead or alive should have interest in staying with a man like you.

You feel you can bash anyone online just because you are a parent and have small change in your bank account.

Remember, I only asked a harmless question respectfully before you went off throwing tantrums like a prepubescent child!

this is how it is obvious that most of you are small children still asking mummy and daddy for money and who are in no way involved in any running of the house or any aspects of your lives.

there are two issues you would be aware of if you are a responsible adult

1) inflation - which means taht what you buy for n200 today an be n 400 next week. so if you have free cash you hedge against inflation by buying as much as you can

2) availability - sometimes, your preferred product disappears from the shelves. this happens all the time with this particular brand. so, to avoid a situation where you have to settle for a less preferred brand, you stock up

hopefully you have learnt something new today - that the soap, toothpaste, food etc who availability you take for granted does not just drop from the sky. then again - you may be living a different kind of life - one where you don't know where the next tube of toothpaste is coming from. it is what it is.
You are talking off-point!
I am less concerned about the quantity or frequency at which you buy.

Everyone knows that women buy their own pads majority of the time. How come you are the one always buying the pads for the woman?

Unless you are a woman then, it’s all good.

Only cleaners are being sent on errands.

A lot of banks now revise their employee pay. WEMA bank recently increased their entry level pay to over 500k.
