Can't you see the way they rushed his gun. If it you won't you feel threatened. The gun belongs to him why take take it by force without due process

They rushed to disarm him so he won't angrily fire the weapon at anyone.
Why should he feel threatened? If they want to attack him, they all have their rifles, they don't need to disarm him before firing at him.

The rifle doesn't belong to him, he was given and it must be collected.

While due process wasn't adhered to in disarming him, he committed a lot of military offences out of anger.

The two tiered american justice system is st play. Trump a white man and convicted rapist, is not seeing a day in prison but here is Diddy getting locked up on charges not yet proven. Trump is known to have raped a 13 year olds girl, he is known as a frequent visitor to Jefferey Epstein's Island for sex. But he is not being held accountable.

If you know how intel gathering works, you'll delete all you just typed.

Gen Z engaging in 'cruise, vibes and nonsense' in a country that is fast going down. Come on. Wake up. Smell the coffee. Time to fight is now.

By the way, what happened to the good old "aluta" spirit of SUGs of Nigerian Universities. Why are today's young undergraduates not politically conscious and revolutionary as it used to be in 70's, 80's and early 90's?

1. School management now rig in student leaders they know they can control. A SUG speaker I know was set up and impeached and he was replaced with a "management boy".

2. Intimidation. Schools now deny student activists access to their online portal if they're caught doing Aluta. Some get suspended, arrested or even expelled.

3. People don't want to stay longer in school. Strikes can turn a 5 year course to 8 years or more(Thanks to ASUU, SSANU, NASU, SUG, etc).

4. Many student leaders are there for the money and power.

This is why Federal Universities are increasing fees and are met with little to no resistance.

All these I know as a politician at the SUG level.

Romance / Re: How Do I Stop This Un-wanted Erection? by Drella(m): 1:54pm On Sep 10
You're too freaked over sexual thoughts that why whenever you come in contact with a female your imaginative mind begins to picture bedding her. To stop this you may need to: Have so much sex that you'll get bored of those thoughts, avoid contact with indecently clad girls, avoid profane places like clubs for a while till u can handle yourself, or fill your mind with something productive each time.

This is the only sensible response to Op's post.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: N150k Job In Lagos Vs N120k Job In Ibadan Which Is Better? by Drella(m): 5:30pm On Sep 09
The 120k vs 150k aside.
Where in Ibadan can you see an entry level role paying 600k? You'll see it in Lagos.
Which multinational companies with brand recognition internationally can you find in Ibadan? You'll see them in Lagos.

Imagine you want to work in high level finance like Investment banking or you want to work in management consulting or in a top accounting firm. Where do you want to see it in Ibadan??

If you're not looking to do a low paying/low prestige job, choose Lagos. The stress and expensiveness is only a price to pay.

Buhari and the other Ex-Presidents did a lot of damages before leaving the Office

This is the best time to have a President like Tinubu, cause if he had not step in to initiate economic reforms that generate enough to pay back all these, we would have be re-colonized and owned by China before 2026

If i were the police, i would arrest the parent of this baby. For God sake what is this baby doing in a daycare? If you're not ready to care for a child, why birth it the first place? You priortise your work over the welfare of a baby that didn't ask to be brought into this world.

As for the daycare, what kind of carelessness is this? What kind of explanation would be enough to explain this level of unprofessionalism? What if something worst had happened? Nna mhen... Quick recovery to that baby

Parents working 9 to 5 shouldn't give birth?

It has nothing to do with me being a small boy

Unrelated to the topic.
I'll appreciate it if you can put me through your things Sir. I'm a fresh graduate and I want to be financially stable please.

Then find a job at toptal. Although you will be put on a wait list for 7 month due to competition before you will finally be interviewed. High paying clients are there

Will you advise one to use a Nigerian account or foreign?
Also, the interview, will it be video call or via chat?

Karleb:

People hardly change in marriage. The analogy you gave is false. A lot of men and women in nigeria clamoring for marriage are not fit for marriage. You people cannot not vet to save your life.

For the men, all they do is throw around money, and as long as they are getting sex, they are okay.
For women, they throw around their bodies and as long as money is coming, the relationship is a success.

People hardly change in marriage. As long as you don't consider it important to put in the works to find and attract a good partner, this would keep happening.

PS: I am not in any way saying having a great body, sex or money is a bad thing.

People hardly change in marriage you say?
There's a higher chance that you'll change in marriage than there is that you wouldn't.
Have you forgotten the popular saying "change is the only constant"?

Responsibilities, peer and reference groups, social media, unfavorable circumstances(e.g staggering finances), and even religious centers are part of the causal factors of negative changes in people.

Spend more time around married people...

If I will ever have marital problem, the last place I would post it is on NL.

Why would I talk about my marriage online when I hardly share about relationships here. grin

You guys are clowns. Rather than doing the hard works, you'd come online after making terrible decisions so people can tell you you are right and the other person is wrong.

I'm not referring to posting it here or not. You claim people make rubbish decisions as if they deliberately did that.
You can marry an angel-on-earth and she will go lucifer on you the moment you marry her. Will you regard marrying a then-angel-on-earth a rubbish decision?

Please how's the hours of investment banking like in Nigeria?

Most people abroad claim they work 80+ hours per week. I've not really heard from Nigerian investment bankers.
