FamilyRe: What Age Is Overdue For A Man To Marry? by dremoney(m): 12:45am On May 05, 2012
I suppose we have more contributions from folks well under 25 on this thread. Well lets do some enlightenment.

1. What happens when you get married at 26 but have your first child at 32?
2. What happens when you get married early and all your kids turn out to be females?
3. What happens when you get married early but no happiness due to immaturity
4. What happens when all factors fall in place and you end up dead before 40?(God Forbid)
5. What happens when all factors fall in place and you end up dead at 80? Will you take any of your kids with you?

Peeps please lets learn how to start living our lives. Marriage is overhyped in Nigeria and that explains why alot dont ever escape the rat race. I personally know an MD with a local Oil company whose first child is bout 8 and he's heading to 50 simply because his first wife was unable to have babies.

Now he's certainly living his dream and his kids will definitely grow and have quality education. I'll prefer that to a banking officer at 45 living in a rented 2bedroom in a suburb with 4kids.

My take!!!

All we had to do was pay attention to footsteps and door movement. The experience no get part2.

Christianity EtcRe: I Want To Give My Tithe To A Brother In Need by dremoney(m): 7:58pm On Apr 05, 2012
suegbe: THis is very interesting. Now i can see why Christianity in Nigeria has outclassed Islam in terms of moronic followership. Many of our muslim brothers and sisters cannot read the Holy Quran which was primarily written in Arabic (though it has now been translated into other languages, English inclusive), so, they rely on the teachings and interpretations of the Alfas and Imams which they often hold on to as the divine truth. That inform the various extremist tendencies they displayed even in the face of monumental evidence in the Holy Quran to the contrary. For example, i have an English version of the Quran which i read from time to time and which have endeared Islam to me, i have not read the part where the Prophet Muhammad preached suicide attacks or slaying of innocents souls after chanting ''Allahu Akbar''. The Quran was even clear about knowledge and information ''seek for knowledge even if the knowledge is in China''

Many Nigerian christians especially the so called ''believers'' are bible illiterates. I wonder whatever happened to them over the years. When we were growing up, the Sunday School was there to really teach and encourage us to sturdy the Bible on our own. When the Reverend is quoting out of context, you may not confront him but at least you would know in your mind that that was not what the Bible said. But what do you have today? Our so called ''believers'' borrowed from their Muslim brothers and sisters. THey simply do not know ''no jack'' about the Bible. THey go to church to listen and worship ''Daddy G,O''. They accept hook line and sinker what ''Reverend, Doctor, Bishop'' tells them every sunday and they are not encourage to verify such whereas the Bibles says ''investigate all matters thoroughly and uphold the truth''

THe christians of today are spiritual zombies, this, at their own peril. THey wanted the easiest way out but unfortunately for them, there will be no excuse.

Christ's teaching was very simple and ordinary but most valuable and this was one of the major problems he had with the social and political elites of his time. They were expecting some ''Holy, Professor, Bishop, Pope, THe Most Supreme Imam, His Most Righteousness'' or at least somebody with closer titles, but the savior was born in a manger of parents in 'e' socio-economic class and expectedly, they were blind to his Divine origin.

In the entire bible, giving all the challenges of interpretations and conservations of eons, Christ message was unarguably, the clearest, the simplest, the easiest to understand but ashamedly to mankind, the most misquoted, misinterpreted, misconstrued, tweaked, abused and devalued. THese to the perils of mankind. His mission was complete and his message was comprehensive.

So back to the discourse, Jesus Christ did not preach tithing. Jesus Christ did not accept tithes. Jesus Christ taught us about compassion, love, kindness, humility and especially Love to our neighbour as the greatest deed of all, pleasing to God and not paying tithe to ''The Reverend Doctor G.O''
Chei bro,u dey vex o...see as u spit some sense into their dummy head.

I mean how can a sane person tell me to give money to a church that'll survive without it when someone somewhere desperately needs same amount to SURVIVE!!
Christianity EtcRe: I Want To Give My Tithe To A Brother In Need by dremoney(m): 1:42pm On Apr 05, 2012
Ok seems we need a senior pastor who is for the topic in da house because those who are for freewill giving as lead by the holy spirit are convincing enough. They seem to know alot about Jesus and his teachings.Weldone!

Those who are in support of tithing so far have not been able to demonstrate a deep knowledge of the bible. They have only been able to go as far as the teaching of their pastor, quoting verses randomly and out of context.
Christianity EtcRe: I Want To Give My Tithe To A Brother In Need by dremoney(m): 1:22pm On Apr 05, 2012
I dont understand why education plus religion has taken alot of sense away from people.

OP explicitly explained how important the money is to his brother. Common sense and righteousness doctrine requires us to help the needy.I am a xtian and very close to my God but there is nowhere TITHE and MONEY was mentioned in the bible as having a relationship.

Its simply unfair to quote verses in our favour.MUSLIMS dont pay tithe but prosper through freewill giving.Alot of folks who dont av a religion are successful because they give alms to the poor.

There is a HUGE difference between what is QUOTED and what the truth is..''Seek to know the truth and you shall be set free''

@OP, you might just be the person whom God wants to use to Bless your brother in NEED. Be wise!!
BusinessRe: Worst Bank In Nigeria by dremoney(m): 12:20pm On Apr 05, 2012
cool
Redstone: Fidelity Bank, the best in town, best customer service, always willing to help you further, best service delivery right on time. Strong and reliable to bank with. The bank is very friendly, NOT snobbish like other banks who don't even care if a customer walked into the bank hall or not. I have never spent more than 10 minutes even when customers are many. Another good bank is GT bank, but they are snobbish, they need to reshuffle the customer service staffs, they need more training on customer relations and the importance of attending to the needs of a customer.

So switch to Fidelity, you have no better option. Seriously.
Yep plus they pay their staff's well.

I think entry level is 4million
BusinessRe: There Is No Credible Bank In Nigeria, The Worst Of Them Is First Bank by dremoney(m): 12:14pm On Apr 05, 2012
First bank is actually one of the highest paying in the industry at the moment followed by GT,Fidelity,Zenith and Diamond.

If anyone is aware of actual figures you can chip in. A friend actually confirmed for 1st bank and for the others,a single glance at their staff's shows how well they've been taken care of!

Please does anyone have an idea of what FCMB and Fidelity bank pay Executive Trainees(ET) and Assistant Banking Officers(ABO).

Their staffs look well taken care of but nobody seems to av an idea of what they earn..#curious
CareerRe: How Much Should Entry Level Graduates Be Paid In Nigeria? by dremoney(m): 11:34am On Apr 05, 2012
violent: Na for where you get your figures?

If you re earning 2000, you pay 275 pounds in income tax, and around 160 pounds in NI.

you end up with a net take home of £1565. If you live in London, you can get a very comfortable room for 400 pounds a month including all bills (electricity, water, internet, gas, & council tax). . . .which gives a net of 1165.  If you buy a 120 pounds one month travel ticket between zone one and zone three, your net earnings comes down to 1045 pounds. (and this is after all your expense including medical bills has been sorted out)

In naira terms, and at the rate of 250 naira to a pound, you still have over 260 grand to flex with before your next pay which is only 30 days away.
What part of london will u get a 400quid room bills inclusive? That must b a pauperized zone. With food and other spendings,i see u saving 500quid minimum.

PoliticsRe: Relocation To Nigeria From The Uk 2011. Am I Mad Or Is It Possible ? by dremoney(m): 5:17pm On Mar 22, 2012
axeman85: For those slandering the uk and 9ja its all because majority have nothing to go back home and show for their years of studying or staying abroad. moving back to naija doesnt necessarily mean you must have your own house or your own car or have a fat pocket . at all. home is where you find yourself and you make it worthwhile. as the poster said he has achieved alot in the uk and wants to go home which is not a bad idea.

Security: alot of people are complaining security bla bla bla. is it not this same 9ja that majority of us were given birth to, just because some have opportunity to travel aborad and in the process got their papers doesnt mean they have to start complaining about security. you might be living in a high walled, security fenced, barbed wire, electric fence, bulldog . ak47 house in lagos or 9ja and still get robbed or killed or on the road and also same applies to uk and everywhere else in the world. you can be walking back from work and get stabbed to death in peckham or woolwhich even rich footballers with all the security in the houses still get burgled.

Water: well mostly you have your own borehole runing in your compound either you are renting or own your own home, even back in the days thats how it has always been.

light: am sure while majority of us were growing up, am sure the nepa issue has been the same, with up nepa and down nepa . people have always been relying on generator but now there is torchlight and the cd light popular called oju ti nepa. lol.

In regards to salary the poster might be lucky to get that a month if he has got his msc, phd, amongst other qualification he has. BUT lest not forget the labour market in 9ja is very competitive. an example is that i got a job info with Diamond bank. and when i called the recruiting manager he blantantly told me am only suitable for office job and i was shocked i asked him why, he said the position they have is for marketers and i said well i can also do marketing afterall i have done so in the past. suprisingly he told me outrightly that NO i cant do the job simply because am coming from the uk.

another example is an interview i had with BAT just for the management traineee. at the interview the interviewer told me blantantly that why am i willing to settle for a low paid job i think the pays was like 2 or 3.5m per annum minue benefits, i said am not afraid to start from somewhere. anyway i didnt get the job and when i called my friend that works there to find out the reason why for me. the reason they gave was that apart from my experience they dont think i will be able to accept the pay as i might leave if i get a better offer. undecided

same also i have a friend who got a job with fidelity bank a salary of 7.5m per annum, another one with an oil firm and na container the company take help carry him load go 9ja for am,

equally do i have a friend with skye bank apart from bsc for 9ja no foreign education just security work got a job with 3.5m per annum.

so it all depends on the posters bargaining power. 2m is possible depending on your area of expertise.
Hey thanks for d info. Talking bout Fidelity,do you pls have an idea of what level he got in with and if he has had some banking experience cuz i heard fidelity's pay is not so good. Tnx
CareerRe: The Truth About Bank Pay In Nigeria by dremoney(m): 4:50pm On Mar 22, 2012
ehie007: let me tell you guys about Fidelity Bank
Fidelity Bank has so many entry levels,
BT1- N1m per Annum (graduates that come out with 2.2 with no experience)
BT2- N1.3m oer annum (graduates that come out with 2.2 with a few months experience) or how you bargain ur way in or who brought you in.)
EAT- N1.5 (graduates with 2.1 or HND (distinction)
EA- 2.3 (depends , may be for people that went to private school and have a 2.1)
ET- 2.7-2.9 (who brought you in or fresher with foreign university degree with no masters)

Fidelty Bank is one bank that discriminates a lot, they are so much concerned about class of degree and private and government universities,
they dont have a detailed structured recruitment process.

wont advice any fresher with 2.2 to apply to Fidelity, cos you willl get frustrated, when you see ur mates in other banks are 4 step above you.

if you have experience with other banks, fidelity will be a good place for a switch over.
Hi nice one.

Pls do you still have an idea how much first bank and fidelity pays an ABO? Also is Diamond bank any better? Tnx

i laff in boko - haram language . .  u cant catch a  hacker (u can only catch a slowpoke/noob)
he never uses his real ISP (he uses loads of VPNs and ssh root services to conceal his path) . .  even VPNs are old-skool
now they use botnets . . .let me break it down for ya
if i wanna hack ur site/pc or anytin hackable,  all i gotta do is

1. infect say, 200 PC's , in different locations e.g. Iran, Russia, Georgia, El Salvador, Gibraltar . . etc
2. install my bots and then network them via an IRC channel . . . so i automatically have 200 soldiers. they are called botnets (i.e bot network)
it's an http bot, so that's where i give my commands (tcp and udp) and execute the hack

now do a ping and u'll be redirected to the countries listed above,
so how do u catch me? cos u and me know i don't live in any of those countries
IP tracert my Bottom, u go trace tire . .

besides, DDOSing is never done from a particular PC. I am shielded, i just have to open my IRC encrypted channel and send the attack
it relays d info to my botnet n each single PC on  the network sends out an individual attack, say 1GBps of traffic . .  (thats 1GBps X 200 - 200GBps) coming ur way,
hahahahahahahahha (evil laugh)

, am talking from years practical experience (oh yeah am a certified malicious hacker, u can ask *dhtml)
Tnx bro. Pls teach him hacking 101.
