Your saying Dangote is driven in a new Land cruiser goes further to corroborate my stand that those who have the real money don't bother to show off wealth. Or do you think the man cannot afford the Cullinan Rolls?
Secondly, your position on purchasing power + lack of credit makes me laugh. I should buy a car that could be snatched, totalled or outrightly destroyed by a minor spark on credit simply because of the fleeting smell of new nylon and rubber? You prolly don't live in naija else you would have been conversant with the stress of insurance paperworks and hidden clauses which might end up translating to less than the amount you got the car in the first place.
I appreciate and recognise your right to use your money whichever way you deem fit since you appear to be of the "now now" generation but I take exception to your saying old cars are trash. I know many accomplished(not only in monetary terms) peeps using old cars without stress and that's something I can easily relate with. I will advise you look for those who know their onions when it comes to automobiles on Nairaland and research into what they power for better insight.
Cars mean different things to different people which made me personalise my initial post on this discourse.

Bro,I think that the concept of outdated is just funny, cars still maintain the same principles ... Example the engine combustion haven't changed much and the trans hasn't either

In USA folks still drive 1980s cars oh europe is the worst, you still get vintage citroen cars and moris minor

So I think it is all about maintainnce... Many cars of old are even much better of today's plastics

actually there is nothing like v4... it's just a 4 cylinder engine

in benz anything from 320 upwards is a 6 cylinder and a V6

anything from 450 upward in benz is an 8 cylinder and a V8


C320 is best ....
