Glory to God the father Almighty,  after secretly storming the embassy today God blessed me with a bouncing baby (TRV). Thanks to every one on this thread I can't begin to mention every ones name but you all had a positive meaning to my life during this period of wait.
The different post here either made you laff, gave you a sense of belonging, gave you the opportunity to help and share knowledge, brought about opportunity to make new friends and brought a group of strangers together to form a united family with a goal of helping each other  to achieve their canada dreams.

Sleek5: Good evening house...I took a nap later today and by the time I woke up at about 6:30pm, I saw 2 missed calls from my agent. I called back and I was told MY MEDICALS JUST DROPPED . I am super excited, ALL GLORY GOES TO GOD!

My application was actually submitted SEPTEMBER 30th by my agent. I used company sponsorship, different surnames. I still remember how jadapinkett13 and chrigo battled it out on whether I stand a chance to even be called for medicals or not. Jadapinket13 sounded so discouraging and chrigo was so encouraging, I kept faith! At the end of the day, God knows best!! To Chrigo I say thank you and God bless U. The beauty of life sometimes does not only lie on how happy you are, but how happy/encouraged you make other people. To all the beautiful people on this thread, thanks for all your countributions. All those awaiting medics/trv...urs is settled by God.

My medics came in exactly, 2months and 6days after submission. Lambton college - human resource management - Jan 2014.

Please if u know your application has exceeded the processing time, please do try and visit the CDHC for enquiries ooooo and find out first hand information for yoursef.Those VO's I dont understand them. To all NLanders yet to receive any info, just keep track of your dates and if its past d processing time, pay dem a visit on a tuesday or thursday and hear for yoursef. Vfs has no info to give you. Their job is to help check if you have the docs immigration needs and transport your docs to the embassy and return when its time for collection.

Dont be deceived! The embassy attends to cases once they have exceeded the average processing time once your case is made known to them on tuescay or thursday by 7am. If you have inquiries to make, you can still go but all u get is a phone call wit d answer they have. Most answers they give u are on the site.

It is wel! Dont lose hope. I almost withdrew my application at a point but a friend adviced me to be patient and prayerful. Alot goes on in tne embassy you cant tell. What stopped them from issuing me d visa since october which was d due date? Peeps patience and prayers and we will all get to Canada.

Any update even from friends outside this thread about medicals or Trv? The lack of TRV or medicals update here is becoming a source of concern for me as I'm yet to get my TRV.

One thing I really want members of this thread to know, please all be advised doing a PGD in Canada doesnt necessarily qualify you for a masters program. There are other things that come into consideration like your first degree (especially when your PGD doesnt meet the 60 credit unit), specified test as stated by the program requirement, years of work experience demanded, your essay or statement of intent, your grades and standing at the end of the PGD program and lastly the application pool for that year ( you still have to compete for limited spaces amongst Many applicants from all over the world). So taking ChriGo advice is a better option for all, go for a 2 year PGD program at the end of the program look at your grades and standing ( which has to be a B or a 3.0/4) you made from the program check up most universities ( thats if the masters degree is so important to you) if you meet their requirements you can go ahead but in a case you don't, try and secure a job and work towards your PR. either ways your don't get to give up your legitimate stay in Canada which I feel is on a high risk with a year program.

kayconsult: @ champion don't worry, you are on the right track if you are going in for a year PGD. There are lots of provincial nominee program for international students who are studying for their master or post graduate program,this depends on the province you intend schooling in. For instance, those that will be schooling in ontario can use the PNP to fast track there permanent residence permit.upon graudation and having gotten a job offer, your employer will fill a form called the pre-screen application form on your behalf,once this is done, you will then submit the form with other supplementary document to cic. Note the fee for internation student is $1,500,as soon as your application is positive,gbam, you will be a permanent resident holder with almost all the full benefits of a canadian citizen.

I guess this PNP pins you down to the province for a specific period of time?

Champion2013: Check the following schools

1. Vancouver Island University
2. Universitiy of New Brunswick (if u have 2years work experience and a CGPA of 3.0 out of 4)
3. Thompson Rivers University

I have already paid 75% of the tuition before submitting my documents. How do i pay the remaining 25% and board within the specific period without delay, so i cam submit d document before the stipulated time?
