marlow1962: Dangote and his fellow apc criminal politicians building refinery is not an achievement, is it not a shame that a whole country doesn't have government owned and functioning refinery. You think dangote building refinery is going to make you buy petrol for 50 naira? I laugh.
Go snd build your own refinery!!! Nonsense!!! It is not hard to know when they are wailing.
Why should there even be anything like 'unequal distribution' if there was enough to go round like other saner climes?
There's nothing like excess power distribution if there's enough for everybody.
Can you have more than 24hrs light per day in Algeria with 99.9% power availability/generation?
Please think, not too complex.
I am saying that sensible thing to do is to distribute the little energy available equally. There is no justification for some people not having at all, and others having so much. The little available energy should have been distributed equally. That’s my point. But I know the problem is that of distribution, apart from poor energy source.
tonytony208: Lolz. And the glitches happened to happen when presidential election results were about being uploaded?
What a conveniently coincidental glitch.
Stay there and be deceiving yourself.
Yes, it affected presidential election because thats the most important election and Obi and Atiku have camped their yahoo boys somewhere to do the damage on the system.
Corridon: This is a new low from the state captors. This is more like a full fledged war between Remi vs her step daughter vs her step son.
That is not true. He was trying to buy in the youthful members to tow along his father’s wish for National Assembly leadership. With that he is also preparing himself for future political engagements.
marlow1962: No politician have DONE ANYTHING for Nigeria, even your messiah you keep standing on his mandate hasn't done anything for u up till now.
He reclaimed and provided land on which Dangote has built the largest single train refinery in the world, putting Africa on world map. Is that not an achievement to you?
Bluntemperor: To President Tinubu: •The present DISCOS are deceptive and are covering too many Areas and Regions - you need to relieve them some and that is the Only way,we can have breakthroughs in the Lights and Power Sectors! • Also, let there be Bank that will Fund Power- for the - New Comers & New Companies that wants to go into this business but govt must provide leavege for take- off, unlike what we had during past regimes, where bush were everywhere, for Independent Power, that never took Off,but they deceived Nigerians! Very Corrupt Sector
People should form cooperative, pull resources together and establish solar power plants for themselves.
Procashtips: The so called 24hrs light you're enjoying comes at a cost to other regions.
As long as it was not stated that Tinubu and his "none existing ministers" added more megawatts of power to the existing megawatts, it's a case of robbing Peter to pay Paul.
Yes, its the fault of distribution companies. They refuse to buy transformers needed for distribution. So, power is diverted elsewhere.
denzel231: just one battery.. the battery is equivalent to like 8batteries. I don't like those many batteries. The battle alone is about 1.8mil to 1.9mil now.... The battery warranty is 15yrs. I have 12 panels
Firecolos: This is a mumulized topic. You got thousands of Nigerian villages and towns without electricity...why is it fuçking hard for supposedly giant of Africa to attain the level of uninterrupted power supply?
My present location is nothing to write.
So I ask: what are we really enjoying/flexing as Nigerians? Is this how we live? Life's too short. These men at the helms should well because we are here today, tomorrow we are no more.
I'm tired...I really tired of this country.
Please stop wailing!!! Rome was not built in a day. Appreciate good effort when you see it.
mjuvey3: Since Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu was sworn in, I've been enjoying 24/7 constant power supply.
If they take it,it won't be up to 5 minutes before they bring it back.
Matter of fact,I'm tired of the light 😂🤣😅
How's the power situation in your area?
Same here in Ogun state. Until one son of devil collapse the high tension pole as he was trying to steal the power line. I hope he got electrocuted and burnt to ashes.
bdon123: D billions is for technology. So u mean its better to go ahead wit a sham election instead abi
The election was not a sham. All laws were followed. You cannot say because your wish was not respected then it is a sham. The laws were followed. Go and cry somewhere if you are in pain.
Ogene001: It's strange for winners to protest. Something is fishy
Not strange at all. Because you claim that nobody was showing solidarity with winners. Now they came out and you are crying. Stop wailing and accept your defeat.
Ohislee: INEC not sticking to their own guidelines is fraud. If the election materials were not ready, nothing stops them from shifting the date. If they had discovered these glitches on election day in specific locations they should have ordered a rerun in those locations.
Everything that happened on February 25th was a deliberate compromise. There was zero lack of will to do the right thing.
Stop drinking nkpurum mirin for a minute abd use your brain to think before talking. All INEC materials were supplied including BVAS. So, what are you talking about. BVAS itself was working and capturing all data. The only thing it could not do was to transmit result electronically to iREV. But all data was captured in BVAS. So what’s your problem? You mean they should cancel an election after it has been conducted and completed just because they could not transmit electronically? Do you know that the law allows them to transmit manually? So why should they cancel the election if they could transmit and collate manually?
bdon123: Nope they dnt.they should hav suspended d election n rectify.
Nope!!! They cannot suspend an election in the middle of the election, and after spending billions on it. And when the law allows them to collate manually.
Is rail way important absolutely necessary for development
But we don't have money debt servicing for Buhari debts would start next year ...debt servicing is currently 95% of revenue ....by next year expect 150% minimum
Every resources spent should be towards revenue generating projects , ports in South south , toll gate construction , soft loans to specific sectors of the economy especially import substitution n export oriented business
With deregulation of petrol if dollar get to 1500 petrol would get to 1950 ooh ...just saying
Some of you are shortsighted people who give is stomach ache with stupid way of reasoning. Tinubu is a genius with generating revenue. He will get the money to complete project without borrowing. And that project is very important to transport petroleum products to the northern part of Nigeria apart from other things. Petrol is most expensive in the north due to transport cost. Development can not reach the north if resources cannot easily be distributed. Infrastructure is vital to development. That’s why I see people like you and Obi your leader as lacking some deep thinking ability.
OldBeer: Space your wailing. Na 8 years you get. If you finish everything this month, which one you go use for the remaining years? Na good advise I give you so
I agree with you. The wailing is excessive. Kilode!!!
garfield1: They are succeeding sir.they all agreed that elections went on peacefully except for bvas which is a mechanical fault.
You know I am not surprised at all that these Obi supporters are not intelligently rationalising the events at the court. First they have all established that election went well. Secondly their problem was uploading results electronically, which is not compulsory as previous court judgments have stated. Thirdly, manual collation was done and none of the electoral officers has claimed so far that the results they handed in at ward collation was altered. The big problem with Obi and Atiku is that they cannot prove that the results were tampered with at the level of manual collation at the wards and LGAs and State levels. That is what they should be putting all their efforts at proving any irregularities. Not to prove that there was lack of electronic transmission. They know this. But they deliberately evade it, because there’s nothing to show that there was tampering with results at manual collation. If there was such thing, Obi would never have won in Abuja.
Obisbetter: Labour Party Witness Led by SAN Okutepkpa presented video evidence against Yakubu Mahmood and INEC in court. Despite objection from INEC and APC counsel, the judge admitted the video as evidence and it was played in court by a Channels TV Staff who was subpoena.
This is all rubbish. If that was not possibly due to technical glitches, INEC has the power to change plans. This is complete nonsense and waste of time.
In what would be tagged dramatic, some supporters of President Tinubu was today seen at the Appeal Court, venue of the Presidential Petition Tribunal, holding placards with different inscriptions in support of the president.
This is considered dramatic because since the swearing in of the president, this is the first time supporters of his would be seen protesting in front of the court which has left many people wondering why.
Could it be because of recent overwhelming evidences daily being brought to the tribunal? Or could it, specifically, be because of the TV set they sighted in court yesterday? Are they afraid that what is about to be played would further dent the supposed victory of the man whom they are supporting?
Why are victors protesting?
Nlfpmod Mynd44
Very stupid report. When Obi supporters were in protesting in front of court, was it because of overwhelming evidence that Obi was going to lose?
