Done well you say undecided The man just blew his entire savings in 30 days, and the problems heading his way have not even started. The states will be back in 90 days with the price of crude oil currently projected to remain under $60 in the next two quarters. Also, what are effects of this on the economy, the value of the Naira and inflation will not like this move.
If you don't know that injecting abt 400bn naira into the economy is a huge positive boost, then you need to go back to basics of economy.

The same thing you do in your household cut your coat according to your size. States need to reduce their workforce and reduce their wage bills. Nigeria will be back here in 90 days, what will be the solution then?
Whatever the states need to so, this current mess definitely needs to be cleared first and that is what the president has done reluctantly. Going forward, he has made it known that no state will ever be bailed out in this manner anymore. So, he has done well.

Let's make sure we understand this, APC is spending $1.7B from the ECA, another $2.1B from the LNG payment, then a N300B loan from the CBN.

This is suppose to be change in the eyes of Nigerians? Bearing in mind, the current price of oil remains the major reason for the problem most states have now and this problem is mostly likely to remain with us for another 2 years. Where will the next stopgap measure come from, when all the current savings are exhausted? In one swoop Buhari is spending almost $6B of savings and debt. grin grin grin grin

Tell us what you would have advised.
Politics › Re: APC Hails Buhari For Ending Workers’ Misery by DropShot: 12:13pm On Jul 07, 2015
The president has really done well in this regard but he should from now on hold all governors to accounts.

The change may be slow but it is certain to take place.

P.S: recent increase in BH suicide bombing is an act of desperation borne out of being demystified by the NA. Though it may seem slow but surely we will overcome them too.

The northern elders as shamelessly as they appeared to be started crying foul.
I bet you know what happened when ihejirika was resigned, the monster they built came out stronger than they were before, so please before you crucify bacanister, I will advice you tour down your memory lane.
You're talking nonsense. Jona simply allowed BH to take control of a swath of Nigeria and it cannot be denied that BH is one of his unfortunate legacies.

Propaganda just to score cheap points. Where are the bodies of the 600 BH killed? They know that Nigerians are pained and in need of result so they quickly paid a quacky journalist to write nonsense from the comfort of his bedroom under the guise of "the source". We all want the army to crush the terrorists but we shall not accept propaganda. When GEJ was in power the army showed us pictures of BH terrorists that they killed.
People like you should bury your head in shame. GEJ allowed Boko Haram to fester irresponsibly and we now have the terrorists as one of his unfortunate legacies.

And it's eediots like you who keep being happy at with every blast despite that it was your lord Jona that brought us here.

Lol you are a baby in politics!!! Ekweremadu does not just represent PDP, he also represents the Senate and a majority ethnic group!!! The Senate is also powerful you know!!! Besides Buhari's certificate forgery and perjury cases are yet to be settled
We're used to chest beaters anyway.

Was buhari invited for forging his waec cert ? if may recollect ur post clearly u said forgery is a serious crime.
So, the fact that FFK and PDP said Buhari forged his certificate has made it to be so, right? Gullible pikins everywhere.

Nothing will happen!!! All this witch-hunting of Ekweremadu will backfire so hard, you would be shocked.

What did he forge? Buhari shouldn't even go political, because it will hit him so hard, he won't even believe it self.
If he is found guilty, he will be dealt with according to our laws and NOTHING will happen after that.

PDP, even with enormous power, threatened more than this and we all witnessed how things played out.

Didn't these people read or hear that GEJ had the arrangement in place as revealed by Obiano?

And if PMB, who will surely ignore their demand, refuses to relocate the terrorists, what will they do apart from shouting and beating their chest till 2019?

A working PMB + A working VP = A working FG.

Slowly but surely, we will get there.

You must be a joker big time. Most of the current APC political office holders have PMB/APC to thank for their electoral victory at the last poll. It was Sai Baba that boosted their chances by at least 70%.

Exposing him is not enough. What happened to arresting the man ? Some people won't like to hear this, but Jonathan is the most corrupt leader we have ever had. If we should even go by his famous "stealing is not corruption" statement, then one will be left with no option but to give him the title of the most corrupt leader ever. I know ibb, obj and abacha where all thieves, but I don't think they will ever come close to Jonathan when it comes to stealing. Sometimes I get this awkward feeling that buhari is not very serious about fighting corruption. Am just kinda surprised that I haven't given up on my amiable general.

May God continue to help you sir.
GEJ was a curse to Nigeria.

Abugab:
One fact I am certain of is that PDP can't rule Nigeria again as a party.
They have forgotten it is no longer business as usual and thus PMB is being methodical and meticulous.
They have forgotten that with 16 years of so many ministers of PDP extract, Nigeria was looted to the bone.
They shouldn't worry too much, ministers will come soon and the thieving PDP goons will be made to face the law for destroying our commonwealth.
I am still waiting to see that PDP SW leader run into exile.
They failed in govt and will surely fail again as opposition.
It will be easier for the proverbial horse to pass through the needle eye than for PDP to rule Nigeria at the center again. For that possibility to occur, APC/PMB will have to perform on a hopelessly woeful scale, worse than PDP's performance of the sixteen calamitous years. And you know what, I don't see that possibility occuring.

I dont really get this. ..... 36 corrupt governors and CBN president make up the economic council?

What are they supposed to advise on? ..... that the NLNG funds, ECA and SWF be shared?

What economic advise could come from lazy allocation seeking governors who cannot generate simple IGR for their states?, State governors that cannot pay salaries? Aregbesola, borno state governor etc are all economic advisers to the country now kwo?

What happened to technocrats who have been successful in their individual endeavours?

Are we headed forward or backward with this govt?... What is really Buhari's plan?
You have unsolvable problems if you don't know that the constitution stipulates who the minimum members of the NEC are.
